Short Story: (Akram's point of view->) I was about 9 when my owner Kim had to sell me to afford new roofing, the first people she was going to sell me to traveled long to get me. When they got here they brought a two horse trailer, I am big I don't like to load into small trailers, so the people left without me. People had been going to Kim's house to ride, a girl named Taylor was riding me there were two others Harlie and Ashleigh. Harlie rode a smokey looking horse named Smoke, while Ashleigh rode an old grumpy mare her name was Lucky. Taylor's mother bought me, without telling Taylor it was for her birthday.

The next day when Taylor, Harlie, and Ashleigh came to ride Kim gave Taylor a card. It said "He really loves you, you seem to get along very nicely. But hopefully I can come to you're house and see him every now and then! Love ya!" Taylor didn't get it at first, but then she realized she got me! They trailered me to their home, I was Taylor's for about 2 1/2 years, then she wanted another horse her sister, Ashleigh had so they switched. Ashleigh loved me she kept me in better shape than Taylor did, so she was my new owner. I was her horse for 3 years and I still am today, I am now 12 years old.

She is 10 1/2 and we barrel race together, she takes GREAT care of me...and I love her to death. But we go to barrel races and win money almost every time. Even if we don't win she doesn't get mad, we just do better next time!

Personality: Maverick is a proud and courageous stallion who always has the best intentions in mind.He can be a show off sometimes and loves attention.The stallion is quite the crowd pleaser when it comes to eventing.He enjoys the company of other horses but doesn't really like to be alone alot.He doesn't mind being in his stall but the outdoors please him most of all.
Short Story:

When Maverick was 1 year he was sold by his owner to a barn that was well known across the country.It was famous for taking in yearlings and training them to the best of their ability and making each one of them famous for what they do,and they haven't failed with one horse yet.Maverick had 2 other siblings,a sister,Heidi,and a brother Milo.The three of them were sold to them same barn after some people that worked at the barn came to look at the horses and chose the three of them.

Later on about 2 years after they had successfully made the move Milo broke out of his paddock and ran off into the forest on the property.The forest held multiple trails used for hacks that the riders often went on.The barn owner had seen Milo escape and needed a horse that would be able to track him down quickly.Maverick was exactly the horse for the job because he knew his brother's scent better than anyone.As if the barn owner thought the same thing,Maverick was quickly tacked up and urged out of the barn and onto the scent of his brother.They had eventually found him,lucky for them a group of riders that had been out on a hack had seen him and caught him and were making their way back to the barn.The barn owner thanked them and brought Milo back.

A year after that Maverick was trained in show jumping,cross country and hunter thanks to his incredible tracking skills.His siblings were also becoming well known for what they did. Heidi for dressage and Milo for racing.

Personality: Ash can be as wild as fire until he starts to cool down. He tends to be like small ember that threatens everything flamable but even in the worst of it he holds a strange, captivating beauty.
Short Story:

Ash watched from the rocky cliff as the forest he once called his home went up in flames. The flickering of the fire captivated him more than anything ever had before. The rest of his herd had continued to flee from the inferno but he knew it was safe to stay here. After all the flames could do very little to the rocks.

He remembered how wherever he went the flames seem to consume his world. How they devoured his family and friends, and were crue enough to leave him all alone. He remembered how they took all that was dear to him and taught him to let go of the things that he had no use of.

How powerful the element of fire is. He want's nothing more than to be able to be as free and wild as the flames that he has learned so much from. He watched as the sea of flames began to die down and rain fell from the sky. The sound of sizzling and cracking was everywhere as he journeyed through the charred ash forest. He smiled to himself as he realized just how much he was like the fire that consumes him.

(Note: he did not die! It is an expression )

Personality: Double is a laid back, enjoying life as it comes. He isn't the sort to try really hard for something, preferring to chill. He's a sweetheart, loving to spend time with friends. Double rarely spooks, being steady and calm. He is pretty careful, never trying anything risky. Double prefers to stay behind the scenes, letting other stallions take the spotlight. He is always dependable and an all around good horse. He is very protective of people, never letting them get hurt.
Short Story:

Double watched calmly from the stable area. His owner had brought him and some other horses to a rodeo. Double chewed on some hay, his ear pricked at the comings and goings of the barn. A small girl, no older than six was riding a sheep in the mutton busting competition. She was the last contestant in the race, right before the bucking' broncs. They were already loading the first mustang into the chute. The mustang foamed at the mouth, much different from Double.

Double turned his attention back to the little girl. She was holding on like a pro, balancing as the sheep ran. The sheep, filled with terror ran sack into the chute gate, where the wild mustang was waiting. The little girl was jolted off, and sat there dazed. To the cowboy's horror, the gate to the chute swung open, releasing the wild horse into the ring with the little girl. The horse galloped out, snorting. Double watched in horror as the mustang charged the young girl.

Suddenly the door to his stall was thrown open, and his owner swung up on him. He was wearing nothing but a halter but knew exactly what to do. He had to stop that wild mustang. A gate to the corral was flung open, and Double ran for the opening. His rider, carrying a lariat started to swing it above her head. Double sidled up to the mustang, and the rope fell cleanly over it's neck. Double slowed down, bringing the mustang back to a walk.

After the mustang had been secured, the little girl came running over to Double. She gave him a big hug and kiss, and then skipped off. He nickered, feeling happy that he had been able to prevent a tragedy. He settled into his stall, and continued crunching his hay.

What Type of mount is he? Double has smooth gaits and a steady head. This makes him the perfect mount for western pleasure riding.
