A Peanut Orb Dragon (POD) is a fluffy, deer sized, dragon-like creature. They are very gentle and love to spend time with humans.
There is a significant difference between the males and the females: Males' paws and tail base are surrounded by floating orbs, held close to the body by a magical force. But, unlike the males, female PODs have feathers at their 'elbows' and tail base. They will occasionally have more, or less feathers or orbs. But never none.Most female peanut orb dragons usually have freckles. They might occasionally have none, but it is rare, they usually have freckles or some spots on their face.
Peanut Orb Dragons can be shy at first, but once you get to know them, they are really caring and loveable creatures.

Extras: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Well, Soul used to say this. He was born into a little litter of three, but through the cold nights, he lost his sisters to the killing frost. He grew up, just him, his ma, and his pa. They where a nice happy family.

Then, the fire came. Now, two years old, he looked around seeing the blaze. He called out for his mother and father, but they didn't call back. The flames caught up to him, as he ran trying to escape. He opened his eyes, trying to find a way, but smoke filled into them, covering his eyes in grey.

From behind, something grabbed him. Took him to safety. When he woke, he found he was now blind, and his parents didn't make it out. Through all this he meta spirit, called Wisp. She saved him.

My username on here is Lya, which is the first name of my alias, Lya van Lou.



If I adopted this little boy, it would be called Silfuruth.
This name is an original creation from me, created solely for this beautiful dragon.
It is an Aederian* name and means 'Child of Hope'.

* Aederian is a language invented by me. It is spoken on an Island called Aederya which is known for its wide range of mythical creatures.





Silfuruth seems to be 14 years old.



When Silfuruth hatched, it was only a few moments before his little sister did the same. When their parents noticed that one of them was disabled, they were devastated. But they tried to make the best of it and taught their children to take good care of each other and they became inseparable. There was noone in this world who was as precious to Silfuruth as his sister. To him, she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen and it didn't matter one bit to him that she couldn't speak.
There were some kids around who tried to bully her, but he always stepped up for her and made them leave her alone. After they turned ten, their parents went on a vacation with them and that was when something happened that nobody was prepared for and that should change the life of their whole family.
Silfuruth and his sister were playing around a bit when he suddenly fell down a bluff hillside. He didn't get severe injuries from the fall, but he wasn't able to climb up the hillside and his wings hurt too much for him to try flying up. So he ran around trying to find a way up. On his way, he came near a street and just as he was looking down this street, there was a car accident. One of the cars drifted off the street. Silfuruth was too shocked to move and got sandwiched between the car and a tree. He was stuck in this position for quite a long time, having to look into the bright light of the headlights the whole time. He got freed from some humans who took him to a vet, but they could do nothing to prevent him from getting blind.
He has not seen other POD's since then and he misses his family sorely - especially his sister.

Silfuruth is naturally a very loving and friendly boy. He is humble and caring and defends those weaker than him.
He was usually a quite cheerful and buoyant, talking much and often, but since the accident he has become quiet and withdrawn.

Liam is a kind POD, he is always there to help out someone in need and he is very well behaved and isn't usually cheeky. Even though he is blind it doesn't stop he from doing anything, he will always give something a shot, no matter how hard it will be for him. He has no worries on his blindness and most of the time you would think if he even is blind
