'Quorra's biggest wish is to simply be normal. Like everyone else. She feels like, with her extreme intelligence, her OCD, and her hyperactivity, she is too... perfect. Everything of hers is clean and perfect. In line, horizontal, vertical. She wants to be unique. She is unique in the fact of how perfect she is, but she wished she carried the weight of even a physical flaw. She feels like she is not a real being. Everyone tells her she is so pretty, so nice, so... flawless. She doesn't want that. She likes hiking and climbing and swimming and being alive. The wild is nothing foreign or unknown to her.

When Quorra found her fire, she felt as if she had accomplished her wish, for a while. The fire that she can breathe, that burns inside her, is not red, or blue, or even white. Her fire is a brilliant black. You would think that black represents evil, or hatred. Instead, her fire is so black it looks a shiny blue, and flows out of her mouth like a nighttime river. She, for once, felt different entirely. It kept her calm. She had tried folding cranes and little paper stars, and she liked it, but that did not make her feel better. It made her feel common. And cliche. That was the exact opposite of what Quorra wanted to be.'

A gemologist is someone who studies gems which is exactly what Cammy is interested in! Ever since she was very little she has loved things that sparkle. The second she was introduced the that shiny gemstones she couldn't get enough of them! She was instantly in love and wears jems all of the time! In her future she wants to learn more about these glossy stones and how she can find more of them. Thus being a gemologist is her dream.
