Happy is true to his name.
He is an optimist always looking for the good side of things. He can be foolish at times, but that is one of the reasons he is so lovable. He loves his friends because they make him happy which makes everyone happy.
Happy can be a bit childish, but that may be one of the reasons he is so happy.
He is great with kids and babies, though he gets nervous around the idea of ever being a father.

You don't want to see an angry or sad Happy... it's a bit depressing. Whenever Happy is mad, instead of lashing out he walks away and stops talking to anyone for a little bit. When Happy is sad... that's even worse. He seems like a totally different Jewelie. He gets grouchy, easily agitated, and extremely snappy and sassy. It is very hard to get Happy out of this mood, but luckily it doesn't happen often.

Favorite Thing about Winter:
The cleanness of the world.
The pureness of the utter white.
The silence of the frozen rain.

That sums it up, but let me restate it in a way that is easier to understand.
Happy loves how clean and quiet everything seems and how the landscape flows with the blanket of snow.

Well, Happy loves any snow related sport, but he simply adores snowball fights. Yes, a bit childish, but that is Happy for you~

The cold. Northbound loves to go outside in the early morning, watch the sun rise, and then sit until he either gets too hungry for breakfast or he gets too annoyed by the frost making his fur heavy.

Frankly . . . sledding. But . . . not so much the dragging-your-sled-uphill part. But going down . . . yesss. Northbound loves the wind (and snow) in his fur; his mane and tail blowing out behind him. He's in his own special world when he sleds.
