I woke up in the morning to the smell of pancakes. I slid out of my bed, and ran to the kitchen, where I found Mom waiting for me. I was mildly surprised, because mom never made breakfast. "Happy Birthday," She said, and I smiled and ran into her arms.
I ran through the Fields, (for the weather was nice) and I thought to myself: 'what a wonderful day!'.
I played, laughed, and joked throughout the day, for I felt happy. I met my brother, who had been in the navvy for six years. I feasted on doritos, my favorite snack, and when I went to sleep, I couldn't help but smile, remembering my awesome b-day

I woke up in the morning to the smell of pancakes. I jumped up, and ran to a small grassy clearing, where I found a plate of pancakes and one of my friends waiting for me. I was so surprised! I usually have pretty normal birthdays. "Happy Birthday," my friend said, and I thanked them and noticed a trail of crumbs leading away.
I ran through the overgrown fern tunnel, (for the weather was rather sunny and too hot for my taste) and I thought to myself: 'It smells suspiciously like cake up ahead'.
I tracked the crumbs throughout the day, for I felt curious. I met my best friend, who surprised me with a party. I feasted on blackberries, my favourite snack, and when I went to sleep, I dreamed dreams filled with cake and berries.
