Zandra.
This is no real reason for this name that was given to this lovely girl, just sometimes when a mother looks at her newborn child, she instantly understands the name destined for her offspring. Zandra herself honestly doesn't care for her name, neither liking it nor disliking it, it just sits there, to her it's just an excuse for other dragons to call her by but most agree that it suits her when she isn't listening. Her name has a colder ting to it which makes it a great name for her, even if she won't talk about it at all. The odd thing about her last name is that she doesn't actually have one, this girl was found in the dead of the night, alone and crying so others had to take her in, they didn't have the heart to let nature take it's course. She decided to choose her middle name herself but it didn't take long for her to decide and settle on the name 'Wolf', if you read more about her history then you'll find out the reason why.

Female.
If you somehow couldn't tell of Zandra's gender, it is quite easy to see that this dragon is a female and won't be changing anytime soon, I can tell you that. She would be more then irrated if you took her slim build for a male, probably giving you a snarl and telling you to get lost. Zandra would merely shrug it off after that either, it's more likely she would be agressive to you if you ever tried to speak or do something with her again, basically she would forgive you as this female is one to hold grudges. Her voice is harsh and gruff at most times so you might mistake her for a male if you were blind but take in her build, and you'll know that she's a girlie. If you ask her, she doesn't honestly care much what gender she is, it's just something that doesn't really matter with her but if you must choose, she is happy being a female. So shall we get this straight and leave this rather strange topic behind us? Zandra is a female and isn't going to change anytime soon.

The wind whistles eerily through the dead trees, a dead wasteland beyond
A lone female sits between two oaks, her head hung low to the ground
Memories, both good and bad flash through her mind despite her efforts
As she sits, huched and uncertain, only one question repeats in her mind
I've seen murders, the ones I love with eyes staring silghtlessly to the sky
I've seen new life come to this cruel world, I almost wish they died, their life is hard
I've seen he horrors that life will bring, things that I wouldn't wish upon even the most evil
I truly begin to understand my fate that layed inside me, I know I will never be at peace
With such troubling thoughts raging through her mind, she adruptly stood up with a sigh
With a swift swing of her head, she stalked out of the circle of trees and growled deeply
It was unkown where she went, maybe to start a new life in the woods or mingle in the city
But one fact is known, one that cannot be changed ; young Zandra was nevers seen again

As it was explained in the poem, Zandra is sitting alone between two dead trees, going over good and bad times while trying to understand her fate. She's confused, angry, disappointed, lost, regretful and upset in this scene but she knows one thing for certain, deep inside her heart ; she will never find true peace again.

Sarcastic.
It's probably not most pleasant personality trait to start as off with but it's an important one that describes Zandra the best. She just can't help herself or doesn't even try and help herself in fact, she'll just have to throw a cutting comment your way, meant to hurt or severely damage your feelings. Sad as it may be, it's something that Zandra does best and she isn't about to break her habit anytime soon either. In fact, she's rather proud of it by being so 'witty' even thought others tell her time and time again that it's mean and she continues on like this, she'll be a bully and end up with no friends. If this happens, chances are she'll just shrug it off as the words don't bother her in the slightest. She only acts this way to the dragons who have been cruel or nasty to her in the past and if she ends up with no friends, well that's just fine as she has next to none anyway.
Blunt.
Zandra is very blunt towards others, not caring about hurt the tender feelings she may hurt, if this happens she'll just tell them to stop being a baby, toughen and grow up. Alright, maybe her remarks are cruel but at least they are straight to the point as if Zandra has something to say, she'll just come straight out and say it. This little trait of her rather wide personality also makes her very honest, she won't try and keep something from you and besides, others know her secrets faster then she knows them herself. Most other female dragons try and stay away from her due to his but Zandra simply doesn't give anything, it's always been a little quirk of hers that she's always despised those others of her genders. If she does have a female friend, they would have to have the same harsh, no nonense personality as hers but more then often, she prefers to hang around the guys, basically she's a tomboy.
Reckless.
Zandra sometimes acts like she doesn't even care about her own life and honestly at times, she does care in the slightest. Most other dragons would say she's too daring for her own good and it's true, she'll jump to the most dangerous challanges in a heartbeat just to prove someone is wrong, risking her own life. Zandra never weighs the consequences of her actions and as a result, she gets badly injured such as the time she nearly broke her wing beyond repair and nearly shattered her jewel. These were stupids mistakes that anyone could easily avoided, most would have learned from a case like this not to do it again but not Zandra ; she justs jumps right back in their with excitement glowing deep inside her heart. Zandra is aware that she could kill herself if she goes on like this but she just says that life is nothing if you're not having any fun.
Violent.
If you haven't already guessed it by now, Zandra is very violent at times and she's not afraid to admit that fact when she shows of her hard muscle and deadly fangs. To most problems, her only answer is to fight and she's actually quite good at it too, lightning fast and strong makes her a dangerous foe, one that should be watched out for. It doesn't take much for her to get all fired up and when this happens, you should avoid her but she has one flaw when it comes to fighting ; she always underestimates her enemies which could prove fatal for her one day. Zandra is too over-confident of herself, she thinks that she can beat anyone even against impossible odds and the thing that makes it worse is that she never backs down from a fight. Even if she was severely wounded, she would give up, still fighting weakly, it would have to be the other dragon to surrender and let her go or them killing her.
Loyal.
You're probably reading this personality trait and going, 'Wow, a dragon like this can be loyal ... ?' but believe it or not, it is true. Zandra isn't a dragon to takes promises or friendships lightly, she will keep her jaws shut to any secret and once you are her friend, she will never leave you. But of course, due to this it's very hard to befriend her as she'll try and push you away at first with sharp words and threats, it'll have to take a lot of effort for her to warm up to you. She's fiercely protective of the ones she loves, fighting to the death for their safety if she has to, but it's a two-way street with Zandra. If she very loyal to you, you have to to be loyal to her and give you betray her in any form, you'll never forgive you again. Her 'friends' have broken their promises and trust at times before and each time she falls into a deeper depression ... and it takes her longer to bring her out of it again. She'll be cold and spiteful to you forever, no amount of apologising on your part will make her even consider to forgive you.
Lost.
Behind all those sarcastic comments and violent threats hides a lonely young girl who just isn't too sure of herself anymore, struggling to get through the challanges that life holds. She yearns for company but pushes others away at first glance, a different personality hides under all those other harsh layers which she never reveals. Deep down, she's actually pretty kind and playful but it takes a very special jewelie to pop her little bubble or crack open her shell to find a girl who acts like this. In this rare case that this does happen, chances are she'll be a fair bit nicer to everyone from there on but of course, not all her less friendly traits will go away completely, she'll still have the same fire in her that she had before. She doesn't know what to do with her life, something dangerous probably but she's just sick of hearing other dragons talk non-stop about their futures while she's stuck in the deep end. I wish you good luck trying to get her to admit it but she longs for someone special in her life that can brighten up her world and always be there for her. Maybe someone with the same burning flame as herself, maybe someone who sticks to the back of the crowd.

The whimpering newborn tried to curl up in a ball to warm herself up but soon found she was too weak to move, too weak to even raise her head and view where she was going to die. She didn't understand, she had felt the warmth of her mother close by her at first before suddenly those gentle jaws that had held her scruff dropped her to the ground and the figure had moved away. Had she been abandoned at such a young age? The little girl was nearly did when she heard heavy footsteps heading her way, the growls of fierce creatures near her but she didn't know what they were, only that they were discussing her fate and futrue. The youngster only knew bits and pieces of their speach, she could hear the fights of either eating her or taking her in. A short time later, a careful mouth grasped the scruff of her neck and silently padded away, the young dragon swinging from it's jaws. The unthinkable has happend against all odds ; a dragon was taken in by the wolves.
She wasn't given a proper name as she grew, just called Dragon by most of the wolves in the pack. She happily played with the pups of the wolf pack and Dragon was certain that this was there she belonged, no matter what. She didn't understand her new found friends fully but enough to get by, submit, playful and agressive behavior was given and Dragon quickly learned the rules, treating the alpha with the most respect. The betas and deltas came next followed by the healers and warriors in terms of respect though she wasn't at all certain what rank she was and it was clear the wolves weren't sure ever. She was an omega at times, a warrior, hunter, scout and guard at others and she handled them all well, prepared for whatever her packmates threw at her. But it was the first real hunt when she was put in a high ranking where Dragon knew where she finally belonged. It was a a crisp winter's night and the wolves and her had set after a massive bull moose, one that would be a challange and would decide of Dragon's fate. If she was sucessful on kiling it on her own, she would be a hunter in the pack, if she failed, she would be cast out.
Dragon half ran, half flew towards her aim, her eyes narrowed and drool falling hungrily from her jaws at the sight of her prey. She was very near it when she rammed the bull's flank but barely made any dent in the animal's swift stride, instead it showed it's antlers to her in an agressive manner as she fell to the ground. She could hear the snickers of the wolves around her, convinced she was about to die as the moose approached, tearing at the around with it's antlers and she held her breath, waiting for the right moment to strike. Now! With a snarl of rage and fury, she lunged forward and sank her teeth deep into the bull's exposed next, feeling his life leave his body while the pack howled with delight. After the moose's eyes turned sightlessly to the moonlit sky, the other wolves lunged forward with high-pitched yips of excitement, giving their praise to Dragon and announcing her she was a full hunter of the pack. The young JMD was delighted at the news, she was certain no one would ever make fun of her again, never had she been so happy in her life.
But a year after the hunt, things took a turn for the worst with rumours of other dragons spreading across the lands, killing freely. In the dead of the night, other JMDs attacked and a battle, no, war followed with savage fighting and many killings. Dragon fought as fierce as the other wolves against her kind, her disgust and anger growing as she watched her friends fall around her but eventually, sheer numbers onverwhelmed the pack when the first light of dawn broke through. The last wolf fell until Dragon stood among the bodies, still not ready to give up but others pinned her down, one was just about to give the death blow before another knocked him off her. There was shock rippling through them at seeing one of their own among the creatures they had just killed so they took the female prisoner, shoving her onto a plain. At first, Dragon still attacked the other dragons but after a while, her anger died down as they explained who she was and who they were. Against her wills, it was decided she was old enough to attend school but not before she was given a proper name, Zandra.
The newly named Zandra's life became a living hell as soon as she started school, she didn't fit in with her classmates at all as her heart still belonged to the deceased wolf pack. There was group of three huge males, twice her size that bullied her every day, calling her dog for her past while smirks painted their faces as they watched the cuts and grazes opened up all over Zandra. Some of their words hurt her deeply and she began to dread until it was just too much for her to possibly bear. After school like every day, the group surronded her and began to shove her around and taunt her when she lunged for them. Zandra was very quick and strong due to her time with the wolves, attacking them with all her might until she tore out the leader's throat and he dropped dead to the ground. The two other males who terrified and fled, a few minutes later other dragons came and that was then Zandra realized she had commited a crime by killing the male. She could see the guns of other dragons as they looked at the body and decided her own life was at risk so she should leave.
The young female flew to America, starting a life all over there when a few others her age took her in, feeling sorry for her but she never told them her past. She started in a new school when the dragons weren't nearly as cruel and she actually found a few friends too. One of their names was Nina, a smart and pretty popular who took to Zandra from the very beginning and who Zandra was very fond of. Eventually after a couple of years, Zandra opened up to her about her past, making her swear not to breath a word to anyone about it and Nina agreed, giving Zandra her word on it. But soon after, Nina realized it could be a new way to gain attention so she told the whole school about Zandra's past and Zandra didn't take it too well at all. She felt awfully betrayed and sunk into a deep depression, not eating and not drinking until one day, she brightened up slightly. Never was she the same again, a bit fiercer now and nasty to Nina, harder to befriend from now on. After other friends broke their promises, she falls into a whole new depression and it's harder to rouse her from it, next to impossible to befriend her now actually.
From then on, Zandra let the good trades drop and began to become a bad girl, wagging school and being very rude to the teachers, she often found herself in dententions but she didn't care. She did stupid things nearly all the time but has no fear, foolish and reckless she is, but most dangerous of all, she thought the case with the cliff was 'fun'. Her and a couple of her guy friends were leaping off a cliff to the water below but near the water was also several sharp jagged rocks. No one has landed directly on the rocks so far, being careful to land in the water and amongst the laughter, Zandra leapt once again. Only something very wrong happened ; the female dragged along the side of the cliff as she struggled to hold on without sucess before landing on the rocks, a sharp cry of pain escaping her. Thank the lord the cliff softened her fall, otherwise she would have died right there, instead she was seriously wounded. Her body was quickly covered in deep cuts but worst of all, her jewel had cracked open and her power was quickly spilling out but thankfully the docters got there in the nick of time. She was able to keep her jewel colour and power but only just, sadly this didn't make her more careful.
And the case with the broken wing, Zandra was showing off her skills with skateboarding in the hallway of the school, enjoying the admiration in the eyes of the other dragons surronding her. While doing a tricky move, one of the watchers threw a rock underneath her skateboard just to see what would happen. What did happen made him regret it forever as Zandra slipped as her board skidded beneath her and crashed onto the ground, breaking the bone that held the wing to her body while she grimaced in pain, trying to pull herself up but determined not to even cry out. The nurse off the school arrived a few minutes later and bandaged the wound, hiding the fear that it would never heal and they might have to actually remove the wing. This idea was suggested to Zandra more then once but she sharply told them that her wing was always going to be attached to her body, no matter so she had to go through a painful recovery with a useless and awkard wing hanging at her side. Eventually, it got back to normal and Zandra has decided that she'll throw the rock in the face of the guy who tripped her next time she sees him and she'll enjoy it too.
Zandra bought a small house soon after which she's pretty proud of for saving up all the money ; it was tough work but it really paid of. Since then, it was just been smooth sailing with the ups and downs of life that everyone will get eventually.
