The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.
If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning.
Character is what a man is in the dark.
Dark Side
Everybody's got a dark side,
Do you love me??
Can you love mine?,
Nobody's a picture perfect,
But we're worth it,
You know that we're worth it.
Will you love me??
Even with my dark side...
There cannot be light without a little dark.
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
“Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody."
“When you light a candle, you also cast a shadow.”
Perhaps in time the so-called Dark Ages will be thought of as including our own.
I'm not this dark, twisted person. Yes, I have my demons and this is my way of exorcising them. It gets them out - and better out than in.
"This dark brightness that falls from the stars."
In a dark time, the eye begins to see.
"Afraid of the dark??No.Just afraid of what's lurking..."
Vincezzo wrote:I am not too picky about what I eat, but my favourite is Chicago style Pizza, stuffed with the toppings on the inside. So much neater to eat pizza with a fork and knife.
Vincezzo wrote:My favourite colour, well, I suppose if I chose one, it would be magenta. Soft, deliciously looking. It reminds me of a fluffy, well-baked cake.
Vincezzo wrote:Two. A number that needs to be a pair of ones in order to become.
Vincezzo wrote:The Autumn. Not too hot, and not too cold. Beautiful colours all around us.
Vincezzo wrote:New Years, I do love the celebration.
Vincezzo wrote:I do not have a preferred time of the day, but I do love moonless, starry nights. Not to say I dislike the moon, but I find the stars to be pretty enough on their own.
Vincezzo wrote: My all time favourite movie? That one is easy. The Pit and the Pendulum starring the beloved Vincent Price. This movie, while a horror, is beautifully portraying the old horror tale. Plus, I love Price, he is "Elegant, but despairing."
Vincezzo wrote:Television. Mhm, honestly, I would only watch it for food and live musical numbers. Otherwise, I would rather be out swimming or practicing the piano.
Vincezzo wrote:Opera, Classical, and Jazz, in that order. I find the music of love and romance to be simply amazing, but I do enjoy anything with a certain amount of class in it. But please, if you wish to play any music not of those genres, be my guest. I will simply not fall into that atrocious trap of liking it.
Vincezzo wrote:Franz Schubert's "Die Forelle". While it may sound upbeat and catchy, the meaning is quite....."elegant, yet despairing".
Vincezzo wrote:Most definitely the Pillars of Creation.
Vincezzo wrote: Bats; capable of being the deadliest hunters, and they can barely read off of a bulletin board two feet away. Impressive creatures I must say.
Vincezzo wrote:lavender. Simple, precise, yet somewhat gloomy looking. It reminds me of how I used to be. Plus, the ladies love it when I role myself in this flower's scent.
Vincezzo wrote:I prefer....anything selling Chicago style pizza. Or really, as long as the environment is fancy and full of life, I'll eat anywhere.
Where there's will to live then there's will to kill
and will to tear up hopes and dreams
and the tears that are shed in the dark of night
are the blood that angels bleed
It's the rotten stench of that blood red rose
calling lovers near and far away
to meet with the fate that all care must bring
and to feed the angels greed
The hungry glare of those copper stained eyes
the most lovely thing that one may see
but the copper was once blue as the morning sky
till death had they decreed))
((ANother one I don't beleive you've heard yet:
In the darkness silent crying
all thats left of of hope and gladness
falls away
with shattered tear
night is falling
in the darkness silent crying
the masks the were made out of kindness are pulled away
and ugly truth laid bare
and all thats left to hide behind
fading smiles and shifting lies
reality parts to make way for new beginnings
in the darkness silent crying
the masks the were made out of kindness are pulled away
and ugly truth laid bare
when in the darkness angels sing
of the bright and blood red past
red the sun and black the moon a new day's dawning
in the darkness silent crying
the masks the were made out of kindness are pulled
away and ugly truth laid bare
