What is a BeeCat?
A BeeCat is just that; a mix between a bee and a cat! Mostly found in places with a lot of flowers, they live in groups of up to 10, called 'Hives'. BeeCats are usually shy towards others they don't know, but once they get to know their owner they're very loyal, trusting, and inquisitive while the younger ones are more the playful, adventurous ones.

Surprisingly, this tortoiseshell Beecat is #8's younger sister. While this cat's older sister hails from Hawaii, this little girl is from Germany. Her flower is a Leontopodium alpinum (Edelweiss).

What is her relationship with her sister like?: Gold is very close with her sister, they often search for honey together and don't really leave each others side unless they have too when her sister visits, since gold is younger and is very delicate for her size, her sister does visit often, to help her with certain things and watch over her. Gold really looks up to her older sister, she loves her chosen flower and thinks she has the most beautiful colors ever, they remind her of a koi fish! And her eyes remind her of emeralds, Before bed her older sister always tells her these wonderful and shocking stories she brings with her from Hawaii, And she seems to relate to some of them as well! During the day gold and her sister leaf surf, hunt for honey and visit old friends! Once it's time for her sister to go the spend the whole day doing fun things such as painting with berries,joking around and have alittle tiny party with there furry beecat friends! the the next day they have a nice breakfast help her older sister pack and say there goodbyes!

Name: Honey Splash. ((Honey for short! c:)) I named her this, because, when I saw her markings, I thought of splashes. Little itty-bitty splashes of golden honey waves. And I instantly thought, 'Honey Splash'. I thought the name sounded adorable!



What is her relationship with her sister like?:

Honey Splash is very, very loyal to her older sister, Ciliata. She'll do anything that her sister says. Honey loves her sister, and wants to be exactly like her. But that sometimes means that Honey can get a little too close. And maybe be a tad bit annoying. They're just like any other older-younger sister relationship. They'll get into fights occasionally, but always make up and be the best of friends again. Sometimes, when they go out to find fruit and honey together, they can get a tiny bit carried away, and always come home late. That sometimes makes their mother angry...But, at least they share the blame.



Ciliata enjoys the company of Honey Splash. Honey sometimes annoys her friends. And Ciliata doesn't understand why. But the truth is, Honey is jealous of her sisters friend, and wants her all to herself. They both love each other so much. It's like sometimes, they don't want other people to intrude into their own little world. It's like they have a little bubble around them, and anyone who gets in, straight away gets out. They're that close. So close, that sometimes they won't accept others.

This little girl is Kylie. It may not be German, but she loves it.

whαt ís hєr rєlαtíσnshíp wíth hєr sístєr líkє?:
They're like any normal siblings. Kylie hates it when her sister bosses her around. She takes her revenge by purposefully getting their parents to baby her and take pity on her. They often quarrel, usually about silly things such as who's flower is prettier. Kylie says her flower is much better because it can live in the snow and it's illegal to pick Edelwiesses in Austria.
Overall, they get along well enough. Grudges may be held for a few days, but they usually make up.
They hang out lots and tell each other secrets, but while Kylie likes to tag along with her sister, her sister doesn't appreciate it (especially when she's hanging out with friends). To summarise: They hang out together unless friends are over, and get along until they quarrel.

Her mom named her Edelweiss ("noble white"), after her flower, before she even hatched. It sounded like a lovely name for a soon to be beautiful bee cat. But, she turned out to be a black bee cat, not white, and isn't very fancy or noble at all! She was adventurous, daring, curious, tough, and a very back-woods type. She was later renamed Luna, because she looks kinda like a lunar eclipse.

{What is her relationship with her sister like?}

Well, you see, they aren't exactly sisters. Luna is Ciliata's adopted sister. They are related though (which is why they have similar markings). They're cousins. You see, Luna's parents are, well, not alive. It happened when Luna was still very young and could barely fly. It was a beautiful, sunny day. The colony was just about to have supper when a shadow passed the colony. They thought only of it as a strange, fast moving cloud but didn't think to much about it, paying most of their attention to their food. Luna, curious, looked at the "cloud". She gasped, frozen, but quickly regained herself and mewed loudly "eagles"! At first, no one believed her or thought that the "cloud" just looked like an eagle. A few seconds passed before everyone realized that huge birds were flying in closely. "Everyone take cover!" A bee cat yelled as a bird began to swoop down. Luna ran as fast as she could to a small crack in a tree only she could fit into. She tried mewing at the others to come but the birds's wings were flapping loudly and Luna's tiny new couldn't be heard from that far. Dust started picking up and Luna couldn't see a thing. She crept in the corner and sang a lullaby that her mother sang to her but a sound of wings came nearer. She silenced herself; she could barely breathe as the bird poked his beak around the tree. All was silent except the bird. After what felt like hours, the bird flew off. Luna crawled out a minute later only to find herself alone. She sang the lullaby again as she walked across the ruined picnic. Tears welled up in her eyes; her heart seemed to stop beating. She sat there in the ruins the whole day saying nothing, not even singing to make herself feel better. The sun was setting and she decided to take shelter. The next morning, a family of bee cats arrived at the site. Luna walked over to them realizing that they were the cousins. "Your alive!" Ciliata called. "Of-of course," Luna replied. "We've come to see what has happened," Ciliata explained, "hearing all of the talk about the bird incident." Luna began to tear up but tried to regain herself. "We'll, since no one in your colony is... Uh... Here, you can come live with us!" Ciliata continued. "Well, I guess until ma and pa come back." Luna replied knowing that that may not happen. They flew to the koi pond, where Luna would live the rest of her life.
As you may understand, Luna has been through tough times. She finally showed her feelings to Ciliata in about a week after the incident. Ciliata has comforted her and helped her ever since. Luna feels more comfortable sharing her feelings with Ciliata and usually only shares her feelings to her.They are very close now. Their life now is almost always together, even when Luna drags Ciliata into an adventure. Though Luna still misses her real parents, her aunt and uncle are taking great care of her and Ciliata is Luna's best friend, cousin, and sister.
