What is a BeeCat?
A BeeCat is just that; a mix between a bee and a cat! Mostly found in places with a lot of flowers, they live in groups of up to 10, called 'Hives'. BeeCats are usually shy towards others they don't know, but once they get to know their owner they're very loyal, trusting, and inquisitive while the younger ones are more the playful, adventurous ones.

There was a book I read when I was little about a little girl named Chrysanthemum and she loved her name but the other kids made fun of her for being named after a flower and I read it again recently and I realized she was having an identity crisis and this little beecat not knowing her flower is another identity crises relating to flowers.

As for her name and why, it is Italian for "Before She Vanishes" also relating to her identity crises.

Of the approximately 100 species nearly all are shrubs <5 m (16 ft) tall, but a few qualify as trees, the largest reaching 30 m (98 ft). Both evergreen and deciduous species occur.
