However, after playing in the sun for so long and along with her high energy, her feathers faded into a dark red and eventually turned into a bright red to match her personality

why are his/her feathers red;; Well, Fisher likes to fish. He will sit by the waters edge and dip his tail in the water, waiting and hoping a fish will bite. You see, because he is green, the fish just thought he was a plant so they never bothered him. He found out that fish are attracted to the color red, so he dyed his feathers red to attract the fish. Now he is a very good fisherman.

They are strawberry flavoured! When Sour's grandmother died, when she was two, the old Kia was too poor to give her anything of great value. However, as everyone began to kiss her goodbye, an idea came to her mind. Sour didn't yet have any feathers, so why not give her's to the little cub?
The old Kia was well known for her strong scent of strawberries, hence the name 'Strawbz', so now Sour has the pleasure of waking up each morning to the smell of ripe fruit!

Why are your feathers red?

My feathers are red because of my pet, Mari. She is a small red bird, and I picked my feathers off of her when I was just a wee baby. I got my feathers at a very young age because of this, and people have always admired my feathers. I think it's because the are so vibrant and brilliant, yet calm and sweet. My feathers are also longer than the average, at a whopping 2.7 inches.

Now, of why you wonder,so earthy and humble, green as grass, would have feathers as red as roses?
Well I'll tell you. It was quite long ago, Spaden was just growing into an adult, his parents knew it was time to find a few feathers, they both agreed with 3, but the color was a hard decision. The father wanted green for him, and mother wanted blue, they were color related to the earth, plants, and rivers. Meanwhile, the birds were fluttering and chirping about, they had so many colors, one bird, a broad red cardinal, flew a bit close to Spaden, it hopped a little closer and closer, then flew back off into the air, its wings beating the wind as it disapeared into the dim morning blue /sky, Spaden saw 3 sharp, shiny, radiant red feathers by his paws, he snatched them and went over to his parents, "What about these?" he said, hopeful. His parents looked at the feathers, then at Spaden, "Why not". And since the day he wore those feathers, he always stood out proud and strong.

Mars loves red flowers or, most of all, red birds. The one on her leg is from a cardinal, the two on her tail are from a Red-winged black bird that she rescued as a chick and she got them when Mir, The bird, has his first molt. She was sadly orphaned before her parents could give her the feathers so she found her own.

Apple was often picked on as a child. Her anger grew inside her and as her feathers grew, her anger seemed to show on the feathers. She often projected her annoyance in her diary though. Her anger needed to be shown. The colour of red soon stained her feathers and she recieved annoying comments like. "Ha! Green and red don't even go together!" From the most popular kias with bright pink and purple colours and long hair. But as she grew older she could laugh at them, for they had nothing smart to actually say. She was proud of what she looked like.

why are his feathers red;; He lives in a tropical climate, in South America, specifically. He works for a pomegranate nursery, growing and harvesting the fruits to sell at local markets and to ship to other countries. Being an employee in a nursery is dirty work (trust me, it is), and the fruits can be all over the place. He wears gloves when dealing with the pomegranates directly, but that doesn't stop his feathers from dipping into the spilled juices. He loves the fruits, and the nursery is an important part of his life; the red suits him just fine, he's down with it.
