The name
I’ve always been fond of names that are a little “out of the ordinary”,
not to mention that I like to come up with names when I “play around”
with letters. The name Ceiveth was a name I came up with back in 2010
and is originally a name that I gave to one of my dragons on DC (aka
dragon cave). I’ve always been rather fond of that name and when I first
laid my eyes upon this Dasani Gip it felt like the name should belong
to him too.

Personality
Ceiveth is a calm and collected fellow, before acting he always observes the situations at hand in order to make no mistake. He’s the one who has quite high demands on himself and will do just about anything to reach those demands.
Honesty and loyalty is to him two important behaviours that he partly expects everyone else to have and that he too has. He would never lie to anyone or try to make a fool out of those around him, because he wouldn’t ever want to make someone feel less worth than anyone else. In his opinion every living being is equally worth, no one should have to feel anything else. One could say that he cares a lot about those around him, Ceiveth is not the one to leave someone behind when he notices that they can’t stand up for themselves or when someone is in danger.
Being quiet most of the time seems to be in his favour; he sees himself as a shadow that quietly walks around the earth to colour the things he deems necessary to carry the colour magenta. Though, this doesn’t mean that he likes to be alone; in fact, he only likes to be alone while he’s colouring the world. While he’s not doing that it’s like he’s an entirely different being – one moment a quiet shadow that stays at a distance from others and in the next he’s like a thick fog who walks closer to those around him. Surely he still doesn’t say much (he has never really been one to speak all too much) and he actually enjoys to just watch while others play or listening to others conversations. Their company is enough to keep him satisfied and to make him feel at home.

Likes

•○ Ceiveth has always been fond of the pitch black sky
and can often be fond on cliffs or mountains just staring
up into the darkness. He likes it so much and has wanted
to be able to touch the sky since a very young age. Though,
it’s not just the night sky that he likes so much… He loves
the sky in the early morning and the late evening just as
much… To se that very morning when night turns into
morning and the first sunlight casts its light over the horizon
is in his opinion simply gorgeous. The same goes for the dusk,
when the night sky slowly swallows the last traces of the
colourful sky.
•○ Old leaves that has fallen from the trees during the autumn
is strangely enough something he also likes a whole lot. He might
not be a child these days, but he still enjoys playing around in
piles of leaves when he finds the opportunity to do so.
•○ Volcanoes and hot springs – because he likes warm places
○• Books… Ceiveth usually don’t interfere more than
necessary with humans and have as a habit not to touch things
created by them that he’s not supposed to colour. However,
he has never been able to resist their books – it’s something
about them that makes him like them enough to make him
forget about his own “rule”. Sure, he’s no good when it comes
to reading, but that doesn’t stop him.

Dislikes

○• Water, it’s one of the very few things Ceiveth can’t stand. It’s not that he thinks it looks ugly or that he doesn’t like to drink it (because he thinks the water in oceans and seas are just gorgeous, just like the sky). The problem when it comes to water is the fact that he’s not a very good swimmer and has always been rather frightened by it because of that.
○• Cold places or wheatears. Yes, snow and ice can be fun for a short time; but he still dislikes coldness.
○• Those who thinks and acts as if they’re better than everyone else in the world. It doesn’t matter what kind of creature they’re, if they show any signs to that kind of behaviour they’re bound to be disliked by Ceiveth. He simply can’t stand those who behave like that.
○• Suffering and everything that causes it. Even though Ceiveth comes from and lives in another dimension just like any other Dasani Gip, he still sees the Earth as his home. Humans might be creators of some amazing things that he’s very fascinated of, but they also cause their world to suffer. It pains him to see both humans and other living beings alike to suffer in many different ways. If he alone could stop the endless suffering he would do it, but he has yet to figure out how to do it.

Humans are beings who create many things; they’re the ones who provide Ceiveth with a lot of things that needs colours. His magenta-like colour is not easy to find in natural places, other than various flowers and the sunset during the spring, summer and early autumn. It might not be much compare to the Dasani Gips who colours the seas, oceans and sky blue or those that colour the forests and jungles green; but it still is enough for him and he’s proud to be one of those who colours the world with an unusual colour.

This picture is supposed to have a background, but as I'm not sure how much time it's left nor how much time I'll have to spare for CS these upcoming days I'll leave it like this. But one day this picture will have the background that I've in mind for it - that's a promise.
