Short Story: Arcadia was found roaming the deserts of Egypt by a merchant's son. The boy somehow managed to capture her and bring her the his father. The boy's father marveled at the beauty of Arcadia, however, they could not afford to keep her. I stumbled upon the man through my travels, and through our conversation he told me about the horse his son had found. That caught my attention, so I asked the merchant if he would show me this horse. When I first saw her Arcadia was galloping with another horse in a paddocked oasis. I couldn't believe my eyes. When she saw us she trotted over, undoubtfully looking for food, I knew I had to have her.

Real quick, this mare would techinically be a Strawberry Roan DUN, not buckskin- buckskins can only be shades of gold, and don't have the striping like duns do.

Short Story:I sat anxiously in the back seat of my fathers truck, I tapped my feet listening to music as we drove down the rode, for about the seventh time I asked "Are we there yet?" and got the same answer "Almost.". Finally we pulled into a long driveway, I quickly opened the door and jumped out running to the barn up ahead, my father and mother went to talk to the owner of the Ranch as I looked threw the stall, I stopped and stared at a gorgeous Strawberry Roan Dun Appaloosa, I held my hand out to her and let her smell it, when my father walked in I looked at him and said "this one!" he chuckled and looked back at the owner her nodded "she's all yours." he said with a kind smile, I grinned and looked at her, by the time we left it was midnight, when we got in the truck I looked forward at my parents "Midnight In Paradise." I said referring to her name, my mother nodded agreeing with me, we returned to our ranch and I spent awhile getting to know Paradise and then started training in Dressage.
