"We are not alone." She whispered the words, her voice soft against the harsh sounds of the roaring wind as she cuddled her babies closer, Axis and his sister. She dangled the glowing marble in front of them, speaking of a world and race that had touched her, touched their lives but had left, saying it was not time to make their presence known yet. She spoke of a People that was kind, a People far-advanced, a People filled with peace and understanding. Axis remembers sitting close to his mother, marveling at the tale, feeling so small, and yet so blessed. He remembers the light that filled his mother's eyes, even as she sickened, of how strongly she believed.

Why was he given the glowing marble, what memory is associated with it?
He was given the marble by his sister when he was born as was customary to do within the family. Although it was meant to be a memento of sorts, passed down from generation to generation, it was kept by the young kiamaras to remind the bearers of their relationship and admiration of the world, stars, and planets around them... Though young Rori, unlike his sister, had more of a fascination with daily needs rather than the stars and so cared more about his stomach.
When the marble was given to him, he thought it was some sort of hard nut and attempted to eat it several times. At every time, his sister thankfully stopped him, going as far as to tackling him or struggling with her brother in order to force him to spit it out. And so now, he wears it on his tail, but whenever he's nervous, Rori tends to lie down and gnaw gently at the marble, a habit he picked up. Doing so may calm him down for the time being, but his sister often reminds him of how he tried to eat it whenever her back was turned, a memory that embarrasses the kiamara.

Orion is a constellation that depicts a mighty hunter, but the meaning of it is rising in the sky or dawning.

Why was he given the glowing marble, what memory is associated with it?
Orion and his sister would always go out as soon as the stars would appear in the night sky. They both shared a fascination for all things space. Orion has always been interested in the bright stars and constellations, especially. Every night his sister would show him where certain constellations were and what they were called. One day, during a meteor shower, Orion asked his sister what will he do if she leaves him. She then gave him a blue glowing marble and tied it to his tail. She then pulled out a large yellow marble and tied it onto her left wrist. She said that the marbles were like friendship bracelets, and that no matter where they were they would be together. They both considered them their own "stars". They both decided that those two stars would form their very own "constellation".
Every time he looks at that glowing marble he smiles. He is reminded of the times that they shared under the stars as his sister taught him about the stars and constellations. Orion will always be reminded of his sister's special promise. He will always remember their special "constellation" that they made for each other to enjoy.

As a self proclaimed scientist, Orion is a very curious Kia. He loves to snoop around to find an answer that he has come up within his mind. If Orion intends to ask a question, he will not accept a simple answer. For every question he has, Orion expects a definite answer and an explanation. Even though he wants everything to be explained, sometimes he likes to focus on the little things in life that may not have an answer to them yet .He believes that even to most seemingly mundane things are very unique in their own way. "If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again." Orion loves this saying. If he is wrong about something he will keep at it until he manages to succeed. He says that he's training for his future career because it may take years for a scientific theory to be proven and accepted.

Hobbies:
Beside stargazing, reading, writing, and drawing, Orion has the strange hobby of collection music music boxes. He currently has 19 in his possession. He collects them for a few reasons but these are his main reasons. He loves the sounds and music that they make. Also when he was little his sister got him one and sang along with it. Orion now feels like they will bring him good luck.

Favorite Type of Music:
Orion tends to stray away from the modern music that we have. Instead he prefers orchestra music, music boxes, or a remix of a song that includes on of those.

Favorite Song:
Currently he loves the Ib theme not because he played the game but because it is an orchestrated version with some music box sections in it.

For this name, I decided to shorten the word asterism, which is the name for easily recognizable star patterns that aren't officially constellations yet. An aster is also a flower that can be purple or blue.

"But just because I'm named after a flower doesn't mean I'm a girl!"

Aster and his sister stood on their favorite rock in the forest. The usual gentle breeze from the lake was transformed into a strong gale. The black night sky stretched over the pair's head, a million visible stars smiling down at them.
"Please don't go," a younger Aster said, looking up to his sister.
The beautiful female stroked her brother. "You know I have to, Aster," she said. "If I don't go to school, I won't be able to make a living for myself. I know you don't want that."
"But I'll never see you!" the youngster said. "You'll be so far away. You won't see me until I'm all grown up."
"Look," the female said. She pulled out something from behind her. "I want you to have this. It’s a star. Pulled right from the sky with that very string. Use it to remember me by.”
Aster's eyes widened as he saw the tiny glowing orb. All his morbid feelings washed away as he set his eyes on the new sight.
Aster gently took the marble and immediately wrapped it around his tail. Once done, he stared in awe.
He and his sister embraced, then leaped off the rock and started walking on the forest trail towards home.

Now whenever Aster takes the marble in his paw, he remembers the walk he and his sister had along that trail, talking about all the happy memories they made together. And even though Aster knows now that it's not from the sky, and his sister is miles and miles away, he still thinks of her when he glances at his little star.

My chest was tight, and I was gasping.
And when I gasped, I choked on what little air I could consume.
When I opened my eyes I could see nothing but black.
Were my eyes even open?
"Please, Hype, listen to me. Control yourself, like we practiced."
I couldn't even remember what had brought this on.
She expects me to remember what we practiced?
I couldn't hear her anymore.
All I could hear was the pounding of my heart.
If I didn't stop soon, all I would hear was it slowing down to a stop.
"This is my last resort."
My paws clenched and I took a ragged breath.
My ears twitched in surprise.
Why did it end so quickly?
At last, my vision cleared, and the worried face of my sister was all I could see.
There was a slight heaviness on my tail.
It felt like peace.
"I traveled to the moon and back and made this for you.
It's made out of moon rock and stardust,
put together, it holds the essence of peace.
Peace is all you needed, Hype.
Sometimes you just need a little extra help."
Hyper has extremely bad black outs caused by anxiety attacks,
so his sister made him the marble .

Have you ever seen 'Men In Black'? Well in one of the movies there’s a riddle about a galaxy being in Orion’s belt. The belt was an alien king's, cat's collar. The ornament on the cat’s collar was the king’s home planet. The cats name happened to be Orion too.

Orion the Kiamara's favorite childhood movie was 'Men In Black'. When he was on a walk, he spotted a shining marble in the pond next to him. Immediately he dove into the water, thinking that this was the galaxy from Men In Black, and that it had been abandoned.

Since then Orion now considers himself as the keeper of 'The Galaxy', and it’s his duty to guard 'The Galaxy' with his life. Orion wears the marble where ever he goes. The marble is on a string that hangs from his tail. Never try to take or touch 'The Galaxy', he doesnt allow ANYONE to touch it.

You may think it’s some marble, but to him it’s a home to another civilisation. Orion has some strange connection to this marble, he seems to blank off in the middle of his conversation and starts to mumble about the supposed civilisation that he guards.
