♥ This is my first time trying for a Kiamara. I have to say that this Kiamara
caught my eye the second I saw her. ♥

"Lady of the beautiful sea."
❖ Now then, onto the her story... ❖
Extra 1:
"Being alone isn't easy," she would say,
"you never know what will happen next."
Marisabel thought about her mother's last words, before she disappeared
out of her world.
"you never know what will happen next..."
These words never seemed to escape her mind, was it a warning? A test?
What if she never knew? Whatever her mother ment, It was soon to happen.
----
Marisabel lived on the shore of a gloomy murky sea. That's what she thought of herself,
gloomy. The sky was cloudy and gray, with a hint of a thunderstorm, yet the sea was calm
as velvet. There she was, sitting on top of a boulder, with gusts of wind brushing
through her thick mane. 'No one', she thought, 'there's no one here.' Alas,
it was true. There was no one to be seen in this deserted shore. Not a single gull nor
crab. But that was about to change.
The Kiamara sighed and slowly walked towards her den, a small cave that
had eroded in a large boulder. Before she could step in to her shelter, a strange
noise could be heard for a second. Marisabel flicked her ears back, trying to identify
the sound. Then she heard the voice of a sea-gull. 'Could it be?' she thought.
Her face turned into a wide grin and she turned around towards the source
of the sound. 'A friend, finally!' She opened her eyes and went into a state of shock.
What seemed like joyful moment turned into a horrific event. Beneath the loud
seagull, Marisabel saw a sea turtle hatcling. She knew that the hatcling was prey, but
not today. Marisable strained her face and charged towards the bird. The gull was picking
at the hatchling's legs, and ignored the Kiamara. Marisabel rammed the bird with her
head and it flew away with a piercing and loud screech.
She gasped, trying to catch her breath. As she was regaining her energy, she lowered
her head towards the tiny creature. She looked around, seeing no other hatchling or
seagull. Marisabel studied the hatchling. She looked at its tiny shut eyes, then at its
sandy shell. She felt sad for the turtle, was it abandoned by its family? Just like Marisabel's?
She shook her head, trying to block the racing memories. The hatchling didn't move, it just
stayed still. Marisabel's eyes widened, 'Oh no!'
The Kiamara nudged the hatchling with her moist nose, hoping for a response. But the
hatchling stood still. She gasped, and covered her face with her paws. Under her paws,
a stream of tears wetted the cold sand. 'Why?', she screamed in her throat.
She loosened her eyelids as she felt a sharp nudge on her right paw. She raised her
head and saw the hatchling, staring at her eyes. Marisabel sighed out of relief and
smiled at the hatchling. 'You sure gave me a fright'
The tiny hatchling dragged itself closer to Marisabel, and hid under her paw.
'Oh, are you scared?' She stood up, and winded her tail around the hatchling's
shell, holding it safely. She cautiously crept to her cave, making sure that the sea turtle
was balanced. When she entered her cave, she lowered her tail and pulled the turtle
closer to her eyes. 'Friend...' She glanced at the friend's eyes, just as hers began to
close shut.
A cold gust of wind had awoken Marisabel. She felt completely drowsy, unaware of the time.
She slowly stood up, stretched, and yawned. She looked down, but didn't see her friend.
A cold vibe run across her body. 'Friend? Friend!' She looked all around her cave, under
the rocks, and sifted the sand with her paws. She couldn't find her friend. Her mouth was
trembling, and a quiet cracking voice could be heard from the inside of her throat. She
dashed outside, and scanned the horizon of the shore. The wind was stronger than yesterday,
and the water was no longer calm.
Terrifying thoughts raced through her mind as she began to weep. Marisabel stood frozen until
she noticed a tiny figure crawling towards the shore. She bolted out of her cave and ran towards
her friend. It was a second before she tripped over her tail and landed infront of the
hatchling. The hatchling stopped and looked at the Kiamara, then continued to crawl
towards the shore. What was happening? Marisabel soon understood why her friend was leaving.
'It's time for you to leave...' she frowned. 'I understand, you must go to the sea because
it's your home, and where you belong...''I resepect that.' The hatchling looked at
Marisabel one last time, then the murky water took it away.
----
The sea became calm the next day, calmer then ever before.
"You never know what will happen next."
Marisabel smiled at the warm sunset, she felt proud.
She knew what her mother ment. Marisabel will always cherish every moment.
Life is unpredictable.
You may be a hatchling today,
but tomorrow you will grow into a wise turtle.
"нσмє."
