Hi, Im Teipiadur, nice to meet you
Name:;
Her full name is Blossom celia Rose,
The first part of her name, Blossom,
Is because of her design and feather
combo, it looks like the feathers are
cherry blossom flowers, growing from
the tree, secondly her middle name
is just one i thaught up, it sounds a bit
like cecil for some reason, and her last name
Rose compleate's her name, if you put the first
letter of each name in a special order it looks
like this: CRB : it looks a bit like cherry blossom,
but just shortened. as in CR=cherry
And B=blossom.
Gender:
Female, She looks very elegant, I just can't see her as a male
Companion:
A honey bee named Pine. Pine is a darker tan color
than most bees and his stripes are larger than most's. When Blossom first
met Pine he was quite small, but he soon grew, hes about the size of her
paw now, and thats not normal for a honey bee....
Why did you choose that companion for her?
Well, A honey bee and a flower/plant themed kia
seems like a perfect match! Also i find honey bees
majestic and i think one would be great for adventures. Also, like Blossom
I too grew up surrounded by bees, and their buzzing can be very soothing
once you get used to it, and lastly I just love honey bees, without we couldn't
survive, all honey bees do is give, and thats a great quality for a friend to have
How they met their companion:
*Shes a pup in the picture above so she doesn't have her feathers yet also the arts by me*It was a rainy day, not to unusual but it was the
middle of summer so it was a bit out of the blue.
A young pup, Named blossom was in her den
snuggled up in the curve of her mothers belly.
Blossom was getting quite cold as her mothers
summer coat was very thin and not too warm.
The pitter patter of the rain normally act's
like a natural lullaby to her, but this time the
chill stood in the way of a blissful sleep.
Blossom creeped out from the light blanket of
fur (her mum's fur) and peeked out through a
gap in the twigs that covered the enterance,
her mother had put them their to try and keep the
roaring wind at bay. Blossom strained her eyes to
see through the dust that had been whiped up into
the air by the wind, she could see a few trees being
shaken around with the exeption of one large oak.
Suddenly the wind changed direction and battered
the wall of sticks, the rain rushed into her face, through
the gaps, a loud crash of thunder sent Blossom scampering
back to her mother. The night was restless, but in the battle
of fear and sleep, sleep finally won, much to her relief.
The sun seeped through the cracks in the twig barrier,
which now was falling apart as a result of the horrific
night, Blossom squinted as a ray of light blinded her.
She got up and gave a well needed stretch and a yawn,
After freshening up a bit she looked through the barrier.
What she saw was bliss made by the elements, there
were puddles, scattered along the floor and the temprature
was scorching. It was paradise to her! She could play out
in the sunny day, and take a sip when she needed to.
She wasted no more time, she pawed at the barrier to
knock it down, which didn't take much effort.
She played around for a while, batting balls of reeds,
Jumping in the stream, and chasing butterfly's. It was
edging towards the end of the day, Blossom turned
around to see her mother piling berries and some prey
of some kind into the den. It was nearly dinner time,
and Blossom knew all to well that would equal no more
playtime. There was only one last thing she hadn't done
yet, plat near the big old oak, it stood pround and strong,
a its magestic branches twirled around eachother and
reached up to the sky as if they were dancing.
Blossom gazed up in awe, but her moment of glazed
eyes didn't last long, she soon snaped out of it, she came
here to have fun! After climbing the tree a couple of times,
and falling out the majority of times, she decided to
go and see what she could find in the puddle's that had
been formed around the trees base. All she saw was
a few woodlice swimming about, she rescued them, of course
from their soggy nightmare, after she had just finished
pawing out the last of the woodlice, her sensitive ears
picked up a light buzzing. She followed the sound and it lead her
to a small puddle, nothing out of the ordinairy. But a small honey
be was tumbling around in the water, it was waving it's legs around,
it seemed very frantic, as Blossom looked closely she could see
that the bee's wings had touched the water and as a result it was
unable to fly!
Being the kind hearted pup she is, Blossom placed her paw
into the water, the little honey bee quickly latched onto
her fur and clambered onto her leg, Blossom pulled her
forepaw onto dry land, the little bee clambered off and sat
on a dry leaf that had been baked by the sun. The bee was
panting rarther heavily."are you ok?" asked Blossom, the bee
replied with only a brief nod. Blossom picked up the leaf
and padded along with the bee still clinging onto the leaf.
The honey bee managed to splutter out afew words,"where
....where are we going". Blossom came to a sudden stop, almost
jolting the little bee off the leaf, She placed the leaf on a flat,
low down branch. "here" Blossom replied.
The bee was speechless, it was a lavender feild, filled with
healthy looking grass that was covered in dew drops from
the nights storm, around the middle of the feild was a pond,
a few blue dragon flys darted over the pond, and silver-ish
fish could be seen dancing in the water, and the pond
was shaded slightly from the blistering heat by a cherry tree,
but this tree seemed different from the usual in a way the bee
couldn't pinpoint, but he just looked over that fact and inhaled
the feild beauty."this is where i come when im bored" Blossom
explained, "why dont we sit by the pond until your wings dry out?".
It wasn't long until they were engaged in deep conversation,
"so what were you doing in that puddle?" Blossom asked,
"it was my first time out of the hive. And I was out collecting nectar
when it started to rain. As i flew towards the hive a rain drop hit
me and i fell in" the bee replied, "that sounds terrible!" Blossom
gasped. After chatting about their own lives time quickly passed,
"i have to go" said the bee, Blossom looked down "ill see you again,
right?" "of course" he said. As the bee buzzed away, Blossom called
out "i never got your name" "its pine" he called back not looking back.
He was gone before she could say anything else.
Blossom patted her bloated belly, she was full after the dinner her
mother had made. Blossoms mother turned to look at Blossom with
a proud look on her face "my little girl" she muttered "I supose you'll
be getting your feathers soon" her mother carried on. Blossoms face lit
up, feathers were a very important stage in a kiamara's life, she was so
excited! Blossom was feeling sick that night, but not from illness, but
instead from the adrenaline and excitement.
Blossom came bounding out of her den, she headed for the big oak,
where the bee's hive was located. She reached the hive and
started to call out "pine! pine!" sure enough a little bee came buzzing
out of the enterance, he landed sofly on her nose. " guess what!" she
squealed, Pine only gave a tilted head as a reply. " im getting my
feathers soon!" shes squealed louder, "feathers?" was the questioning
reply given by Pine, Blossom realised that he had no idea about the
importance of a kiamara's feathers, she didn't think he even knew
that kiamara's wear them.
After a long explanation on a kiamara's feathers, Pine was now a expert
on the subject. "which ones are you having?" he asked, "oh im not sure yet.
i would like feathers that represent me but we can't all get what we
want, ill probabbly get ones passed down from the family, not that im
ungrateful or anything...." she sighed. The awkward silence was soon broken,
"so what kind would represtent you?" Pine asked, Blossom sat in thaught
for a while, "well I'd like ones to do with my special place, it would be nice,
because, well, our friendship started there..... oh we are friends, aren't we?"
Pine gave a reasuring nod "oh thats a relif, well also i want to remember
my special place for ever and ever" Blossom finished. Pine looked up at her
from the branch he had perched himself on while she was talking, "oh,
also i never got your name" he asked, "It's Blossom, i thaught you'd never
ask!" Pine repeated her name in a slight muffled voice "Blossom huh? thats
a nice name, it suits you" he finally said. Blossom only gave an embarrased
thanks.
After saying their goodbyes the two went back to their homes. It was the middle
of the night, and the humid air was making it impossible for Pine to sleep,
so he headed for Blossom's special place to relax. After resting on a lillypad
omething caught his attention,it was the cherry blossom tree, it was.... unusual,
different, in a way he couldn't pinpoint, so he decided to investigate...
It was a beautiful day the next morning, the sun shined brightly over the hills
and meadows. Blossom jumped out of her bed of reeds, she had over slept!
The smell of berries wafted up her nose, she darted toward the smell, licking
parts of her coat to rid herself of those annoying tangles. She knew that soon she
would be presented with her very own feathers! He mum was their with a pile
of berries,"eat up" her mother told her, in a silky soothing voice. After gobbling
down her breakfast she had to wash herself again to get rid of the bright
purple berry juice that had stained her fur.
After the mass event that was breakfast, her mother aproched her with a smile,
"my dear, you have grown into a beautiful little girl, and i know how you saved that
poor little bee" Blossom was taken back in shock, it wasn't a bad thing that she knew
its was just how did she know? "and so I present you with your feathers," her mother
continued, she then layed down a box, made of honeycomb. Blossom opened it up to see
seven light pink feathers with a stripe running through the middle, they were beautiful
nothing like she expected. " these look familiar..... and smell familiar...." Blossom said
confused."I thaught you might say that," he mother said, she then turned her head and looked
over her shoulder and called "pine!" sure enough the little bee came buzzing from
behind her mothers shoulder. "pine!?" Blossom gasped,"what are you doing here?"
her mother and pine looked at each other, and her mother nodded at pine, as if it was the
que for him to start talking.
"you see, last night it was quite humid, and i couldn't sleep, so i went to the special place you
told me about, I was hanging around the pond for a while when the cherry blossom tree
caught my eye. As i went to investigate what had drawn my attention, i discovered, that on the
tree was not blooming pink flowers, but feathers, that were hung on the tree by string. There was a
message inscribed into the bark, it said, take some feathers, and you will find, the beholder
will sway to natures chime, no idea what it meant, but you can figure that one out" Explained
Pine.
The two were the best of friends ever since that day
