Username:Spiritbird
Name of Shionnix:Vesper
Gender:Male
Personality:Vesper is like a warrior. He is strong of body and mind. He refuses to see the weak harmed and will protect what must be protected.
Due to this though h can be seen as cold and hardened but really he might have a tiny bit of a soft spot for young creatures but he won't let anyone see that.
He prefers to hunt at night so that he can use his glow to lure prey in or to frighten a predator a way if needed.
He is a quick thinker that makes him dangerous as a hunter.
There is one thing that may seem out of character and thats his joy of paddling in the water at night watching his glow reflect across the water.
Story: Optional
From a young age Vesper has always been taught to do what is good and to help those that need it whether you get something in return or not. Vesper was meant to grow up and help those around him, to never expect anything in return and in most cases to never accept anything that is given if he can get away with it.
like most young creatures Vesper listened but didnt obey.
He had always been a bit faster and more agile than most of the other young ones but when it came to night time, he simply vanished into thin air.
When he first learned to fly ad the stars were out he blended in so well the others became worried that he had vanished into thin air. His lights doing little to when he flew high into the night sky.
When vesper was flying and roaming the night sky one day he noticed something down by the water. being curious he flew down and somewhat hovered over to see what it was.
Down in the lake was a small mammal, a baby rabbit that seemed to be having trouble swimming. while the rabbit was thrashing around trying to get its bearings in order to swim to safety, a water snake was slowly making its way towards its easy prey.
Watching this Vesper felt some type of pull to swoop down and grab the rabbit gently in his jaw and away from danger. Submitting to the urge he flew down, swooped up the rabbit and landed softly within the bushes and placing the small thing down. normally he would eat whatever he caught but this felt unfair, to save something only to eat it later and besides this was no hunt.
The little rabbit being a skittish creature looked up and ran into the bushes where when looking closely over the bushes he could see another rabbit, its mother perhaps.
He stood there starring at the bush and that even though it was just a small deed he felt he understood what he had been taught, that saving something was right, that you didn't need a reward or a thank you for helping because that feeling that comes from helping, even a small baby rabbit is reward enough.
He understood and when he was taught more lessons he took them to heart so that he could do the right thing. so that he can protect what needs protecting when it cant protect itself.
so he grew learning from life's lessons to make him what he is today. he still remembers that little rabbit and the first time he felt the joy and satisfaction of helping something live for the very first time. he still uses that feeling to fuel his desire to keep looking after the young that get into trouble because he knows what he was like when he was young and he knows what he has been through. so if he can help he will even though he may never get a thank you in return, he knows he is doing somethign good.
