Story: The light flickered through the thick canopy of the humid jungles, spotting the ground beneath her hooves. The light was not the typical golden, but rather a pale silver of a clouded morning. Rain began to fall down from the cloud-covered skies, landing on the broad green leaves with a soft symphany of splashes and plinks. Surprisingly, few drops fell on the tawny pelt of the creature moving through the rainstorm. She waved her tail as a farewell to the landscape she passed, her fine ears pricked forward as she drew in long, deep breaths, enjoying the quiet melody of sorts.
I told myself to wait, but I just have to try for her- I was only going to do Rah’s Easter guy, but I just love this girl too much! I won’t be applying for the stallion anymore, to give others more of a chance, but this little mare stole my heart! XD

WTE personality: Anthira is a soft, gentle-spoken but well-mannered mare. She is quite timid but very intelligent- she is like that shy kid in class, amazingly smart but never raising their hand. She loves to run and jump, and she is playful; but she has no especially close friends, because she is simply too shy. However she is a bit solitary and doesn't especially mind being by herself. She is also very curious and even a bit adventurous!
Your favourite thing about her: Those spots...<3 It gives her an almost mystical feel. Very holiday-like! XD And her eyes are absolutely beautiful.

Anthira enjoys running, jumping, and playing, but only by herself. She gets too shy otherwise. She is also fond of spring showers, flowers like poppies and pansies, and (of all things) domesticated cats.
Dislikes:
Anthira dislikes thunderstorms with a passion. She also hates fights, even in play, and harsh words frighten her. And she will never be a lead mare, or any rank of real importance...
Favorite spot to hang out:
She loves standing by a stream, like the one in my picture. The running water is peaceful, the soft grass soothes her, and the animals- birds singing, rabbits hopping- are friendly and kind.

Painted Desert.

In Egypt and Africa, they would paint, or batik, ostrich eggs and place them inside tombs. So in pyramids and tombs, scattered about, there would be some eggs, adding color if you found your way in. Quite frankly, I was going to use الباتيك(batik in Arabic, the modern Egyptian language), But that was just too confusing. And for other reasons, such as the markings on her sandy coat. Don't they look like paint streaks and dots?

WTE personality:
Painted Desert, or Paynta, is a rather loud and vocal mare. Unlike others who calmly nicker words back and forth, she will do very loud and high-pitched whinnies and neighs. As she is still a filly, it's to be expected, but many people who live around the forest containing the herd also think that it will continue into adulthood. Besides those who run away whenever they see her for the sake of their ears, they usually find out that she is a fun, pleasant equid who is at a loss of what to do quite frequently. But if you upset her, it is best to run as fast as you can so you don't split your ears.

Your favourite thing about her:
The barely noticable champagne stripe through the white on the front leg. It looks like she has bangles on. :)
