(Note: The JBDs I used are fake and purely for this story only! I will only feature them as shadows as to not unintentionally copy any actual JBDs.)Cora wrote:Well, I was born to two very kind Jellybean Dragons who owned a bakery. However, we were robbed when I was a youngster and they kidnapped me. The three Jellybeans that kidnapped me were kind to me, however. They asked my name, and I had to act fast, so I said "Cora. Cora is my name." Of course, it was Flora, actually, but I got so used to being called Cora that I just.. Stuck with it. I saw my mom and dad a few times, but I was forced to wear a hoodie all around when I was with my new "family", so they never recognized me. I learned that my kidnapper's names were Lerit, Moud, and Gryslene. Lerit and Moud were Gryslene's older brothers, and were lighter colored JBDs who were mostly my caretakers, and loved seeing my smile. Gryslene was a polar opposite- dark colored, mean, and just loved treating me like a captive. However, Gryslene was busy with her own work, and rarely noticed me. One night, Lerit, Moud, and Gryslene left and came back a few hours with a Jellybean egg. I pretended to love their work, but while they were asleep, I snatched up the egg, tucked it into my pocket, and followed Lerit's tracks (I knew they were his because he was pretty chubby, and he only had four fingers on his right front paw instead of five) to the Jellybean's house. I knocked on their door, and a blue and purple Jellybean opened up the door, clearly crying. I held the egg up to them after carefully taking it out of my pouch, and the Jellybean took it thankfully. She invited me inside, but I decided not to, as it was already risky enough for me to come this way. I ran back to my kidnapper's home. Months later, they let me out on my own. Big mistake- I packed all of my things in my backpack one night and ran away. Now that I'm safe from those kidnappers, I plan on stopping them once and for all!

I don't remember any of when I was born & stuff, but I'll tell you a little I remember when I was younger...
It was just a usual day, I woke up, sun shining in my eyes as wind blew in softly, whispering to wake up. I grunted, turning in my bed. I heard a soft pitter patter as my older sister came in. I turned to look over at her. "Come on, sis," she said, her green eyes shining worry. I blinked, "What's wrong?" I asked softly. She shook her head, as she came cloer to me. "Just... grab something & let's go," she said, looking at my face, then at the ground. I nodded, not wanting my sister to get mad. She walked out, her pitter patter of her feet soothed me a bit. I looked over at my bed. The branches and leaves looked quite dull as I looked at them, like the color had been drained out of them. Then, there it was, my toy spider. His red eyes glinted in the sun, and it was as if nothing was wrong. I picked him up, looking at his dull face. I then sighed softly, putting him into my pouch, and running to wear my sister was. She was sitting on some branches, till she looked over at me. "Ready?" she asked. I nodded, "Yes," I replied. As we walked out, everything looked pretty, happy, green. As I looked over my shoulder at the house, it looked quite dull, like it knew my sister and me were never going to return. "Where exactly are we going?" I asked as I turned my head then to look up at my older sister. She didn't say a word, only kept looking straight. It was quiet, except for the crunching of grass and twigs breaking underneath our paws.
After a while of walking we reached a bridge. It was old, there were cracks in it and everything. It was swaying back and forth. I gulped as I looked back from where we came. Our home had dissappeared into the distance, and the only thing I saw was green leaves swaying with the breeze, and birds flying and tweeting. I looked at my sister. "Let's cross," she said, looking over at me, her green eyes was holding a secret, but I just didn't know what. My sister set one paw on the bridge. The bridge creaked, swaying some more under the weight of my sister. She began to walk on it like it was ground or something. I set one paw on it, looking down. There was a river far down, rocks from the mountain across the bridge. It would be a long drop if you fell over. I gulped, crossing quickly. As soon as my sister saw me, she nodded as she then began to walk. I jogged to keep up with her. I looked around at everything around me. Everything was just grey, and damp looking. I sighed, I would have much rather had kept at our one home.
It was silent for a bit, till my sister started talking. I was glad, I didn't like it being to quiet. "We left because... mom told me to take you and run as far as we could..." she said, looking at me. I hadn't thought of mom till that instant. "Why?" I whispered quietly. My sister sighed, looking away from me. "I don't know, Mayu," she replied. I sighed, as I set my paw down on a stone. It broke under me. I screached, holding with my other three paws. I watched the rock fall, fall, fall, till I couldn't see it anymore. "Oh, I forgot to tell you watch out for rocks," My sister said. Could've told me earlier.
As we walked, we had a few slips and almost falls. My sister sighed, as she stepped ahead of her, it all falling under her weight. She screamed, as I grabbed her front paws. "Sis!" I screached, my back claws digging into the rock, the rock cracking a bit. My sister was looking at me, wide eyed. "I'll try to help you," I said, my heart beating faster and harder. My sister looked down, then up at my face. "Let go," she said quietly. I looked at her, "What? No way!" as I said that, I felt the rock under my paws cracking more. "Go, before you fall, Mayu," she said, sighing. "No... I can't let go. I won't let myself do it!" I said, holding tears back even though it felt like my eyes were going to burst with tears. She smiled a little bit, "I knew you were going to say that... I know you can't let go... but I can," at that moment, she let go of my paws a little. "I love you, Mayu. Take care, remember I will always be watching you, protecting you," she let go of my paws, I tried to grab her paws, crying out her name. She smiled, closing as she started to fall, fall, fall..."
