Story:
Spring was the time for change, and the start of so many lifes. The deer returned to the green meadows, with their young, spotted fawns at foot. A rabbit would remove the dew from a clover while watching over her half a dozen babies. The ducks would teach their new ducklings how to swim about in the small streams and ponds. Apollo hadn't changed much since the winter, but he was happy to see the grass below him however. Winter wasn't his favorite season, for many of the animals went missing for the colder months. Apollo had many wonderful friends, many of which would start to return to the forest over the next few days. He was sure that the owl would be the first, then maybe his friend the turtle who lived by the pond. What Apollo looked forward to most about spring though was meeting the new animals that would come. Last year it was a friendly hawk, who had traveled many miles to find a new home.
Apollo trotted along down the forest's main path, with the idea of bumping into some old friends. Not too long into his travel he spotted owl resting in an old Oak Tree. With a simple "Hello", Apollo was back on his way down the path. Over the next hour or two the bold animal had ran into Breaver, Squirrel, and Turtle. Suddenly, Apollo tripped over another animal and found himself in the dirt. When the large animal opened his eyes he found a small, red fluffy creature sitting before him. "I'm so sorry sir" stated the anaimal over and over again. Apollo looked at him with a smile, pulling himself up from the ground he laughed, "I'm fine". Shaking the dirt from his mane and tail, he kept his sweet, little smile, "I think the question is, are you okay?" joked the large horse like animal. "Oh, I'm fine" stated the fox, "I was just running along, daydreaming when boom you went flying". Apollo laughed, "you new to town?" asked the friendly gaint. Down the rolling path trailed the new friends, a beautiful beast and a small Red Fox.
