“Mommy?”
The grey hatchling looked around
“Hello? Mommy? Are you there?” Celtic had a deep frown etched on her fluffy face. Her mum would never be gone this long. Right?
She looked around the Loch, scanning the horizon for some indication of something, at the least a stray fisherman. Nada. She nodded around at the shallow end of the lake and listened at the excited squeals of the other beans. She sighed and tried to focus on the silver minnows darting between her legs. She looked up after a while of staring downward and noticed that the chatter of children stopped behind her, and stepped out of the water quickly. She shook of what little water clung to her, and trotted out.
RRRRAWWWWRRRR
Boy was she glad that she got out! She dashed to the trees and shivered as she cautiously stared at the water.
Only to see the three other hatchlings she was with.
“Nice Celia!” one cackled.
She huffed, and ravenously stomped away from the scene.”Wait!Ceeelliieee!” One of the hatchlings cried “Don’t go there!” he dashed to her. “What?” she hissed. She was not exactly amused. “There’s a monster there!”
“Pffftt.” She scoffed at the notion. Monsters were nothing but fairytales to keep little one in beds, definitely not real. “Don’t be silly!” she stuck her tongue out and walked away to the Scottish marshland. She’ll show them! Nothing can scare a Scott!
Okay, maybe that lad was telling the truth. So far, nothing but forest, forest, water and guess what, more forest. But everything had a creepy and sinister vibe to it. This one bird had tried to peck her eyes out! (Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration)On the plus side, the others had finally left her alone! Yay.she had come to a dead end just now. Or so she thought.
Just as she was about to turn back, a freaky fog cam pretty much out of nowhere. And it was orange.
“Ooookkkaaayy”She nervously told herself.
“GRRAHHHHHH!” a grotesque bawl rang through the moor.
Ohgodwhatdididoiswearthatididntdoanyttthiiiinnggg! She garbled and mashed together tons of words. And just like it began it stopped. And now, she was lost. “OH COME ON!” she hissed, and looked around. Her panicked escape only led her deeper (somehow?) into the forest. This was seriously not her day.
A raspy breathe, like that of a horse whispered into her ear. She looked over her shoulder, and saw a curious looking horse standing on the water. It walked to her, creating quite a spectacle, as the water barely shimmered under its lithe hooves, shattering the water under it like china. A know Scott legends. The one that takes children, and men alike. A puca colt.
She willed herself to move, as he approached.
It licked her cheek and flicked its tail like a happy colt.
“Wait?Do you want to play?”She quistioned with a baffled look.It nickered again and playfully threw its head.”Okay”
Weird.

“Hey.James.Do you remember when we met?” A certain narwhale-estique dragon asked the horse that was currently half dissolved into water. It nickered in annoyance “How did you get yourself stuck here in the first place?!” she laughed. The Now stallion replied with a splash of cold water to the face.”blagh!Okay!Don’t get your brindal in a twist!”
