She met her friend when she was just a little bean exploring the
sea for the very first time. It was cold, and she was only the young
age of two when she found him. He was sitting on a rock, just as
young and awed by the dark turning waters as she was. He had been
shivering, and the two had found eachother side by side as the sun
set across the water. The baby blue footed booby bird
and the baby dragon had been unseperatable ever since. Now full
grown, her little friend flies overhead her as they swim into open
waters.

Dewdrop is a very different dragon, and not just because of her looks. You see, I don't really
own her, as she is constantly on the move. I just make sure that she is safe, has enough
to eat and is healthy. This wanderer doesn't want to stop exploring, never did, actually..
She and that bird friend of hers have always been exploring anywhere that has any type
of body of water near it. And the transportation? You probably have already guessed it;
SWIMMING! She swims just like the creature she resembles, a narwhal. Fast, magestic,
strong swipes of her paws and a helping (er hand?) from her fin like tail send this girl off
on one of her new adventures. She doesn't like to spend much time at once at a place such
as the city, but would rather spend her time exploring the many depths of the waters on
this planet. One day, she hopes to be able to travel in her own submarine! Can you imagine
that? It is only my job to make sure that she is safe and healthy, but what she does is completely
up to this adventurous bean.
However, you see, this bean is almost overwhelmingly loving, as well as loyal to her friends
and loved ones. She will never let you down, may it be for your birthday party, calling you
up when you need a friend, or even just going out to lunch! This girl will find a way to be
there, no matter what she has to do (Even go on an airplane! o-o) Dewdrop is very reliable, even
though she travels constantly.
One day, she hopes to find another bean that will travel as much as she does, and go with her on
her many adventures.

His seagull. :3 His name is Horizon. After Aoi had been separated from his parents, only as just a little bean, he found a seagull washed up on a shore. The poor seagull must have been trying to find some fish and fell, the young bean had assumed, and he took the little bird in and helped him through his ordeal. Ever since, Horizon and Aoi were inseparable, and always were found by eachother's side, with Horizon usually perched near the fins and tip of his tail, or perched on his horn/tooth.

Personality
Aoi is gentle, withdrawn, and thoughtful. Not really though has he been a member of many crowds. He always prefers to keep to himself, and chooses not to change himself to make others happy, and he behaves how he does with almost no regrets. He enjoys helping out others, and likes to have company sometimes, however; he does not have many friends at all, but if he did, he would choose true and real friends who wouldn't hate him for who he is. He prefers to talk out of trouble than fight his way out, because for one, he is a pacifist; and two, he can't think of a good reason to actually harm another bean during any situation. Not once has he yelled, not finding any necessary reason to do so, and because of this, he has a soft, comfortingly low tone of voice. Aoi is also mindful of his actions. He has been completely aware of the words "cause" and "affect", and wants to be careful with what he does, knowing it could cost him. Yes, he believes in karma, and will most likely always believe in it. He is mindful of others, and likes to help out those who reach out. His generous part of his personality has never gotten the best of him yet, and he benefited when he helped out his little boy, Horizon.
Strangely, he does not always enjoy being in water. Aoi likes to be out in the wilderness, outside of water whenever he feels. He loves the feeling of being free outside of the water, and the sweet breeze and scent of the world. In conclusion, he has a down-to-earth, generous, and sweet spirit that hasn't been broken.
Masked by this personality however is a depression he has been suffering. He never has explained why, or even understood why, except for an event that emotionally scarred him when he was young.

The golden bird flew among the treeline, a trail of flame behind it slightly singeing the blades of grass. The bird finally found the right spot and decided to land. Spreading it's fiery wings to their full extent, it hovered over the ground for a moment then plopped itself down. Then it screeched. It cried out to anyone who would hear it. It had lost it's parents. It's family. It's home. Just as it thought no one had heard it's cry, the ground began to shake. The startled fire bird flapped it's wings in alarm. An earthquake? It thought. It took to the sky to avoid the trembling ground and that was when it saw him. A dragon-like creature was flying about. The bird's amber eyes grew wide as it realized the dragon the dragon was looking for something. It wants to eat me! It thought, terrified by the idea. Just then the dragon saw the fiery bird. Oh no! Here it comes! Thought the bird. "Wait! Please don't run! I heard someone cry for help. Was that you?" The dragon asked. What a question! This thing wants to help me? The phoenix thought. "Yes, that was me." The bird said bravely, puffing up it's golden chest and letting it tail feathers flow with the wind. "Well, why did you call?" Asked the dragon. "I'm lost. I can't find my family and my home." Chirped the phoenix. The dragon smiled. "Come. Come with me. Until you find your family and home, you will stay with me." The phoenix was speachless. "Wh-why, I-I'm honored!" Said the golden bird. The dragon blinked. "It's the least I can do for you, little bird. What is your name?" Asked the dragon. Feeling it was safe enough, the bird replied, "Amber. I'm Amber, a phoenix." "Ah," said the dragon, "I am Teal, a JellyBean Dragon."

Zale

The name "Zale" is of Greek Origin. It is a male name, and in English it translates to "sea strength". One with this name has a deep inner desire for a stable, loving family or community, and a need to work with others and to be appreciated. It is also said that anyone with this name is competent, practical, and often obtain great power and wealth. They tend to be successful in business and commercial affairs, and are able to achieve great material dreams. Because they often focus so strongly on business and achievement, they may neglect their private lives and relationships. But, of course, being a JBD and not human, he doesn't have such problems.

I'll close my eyes and dream of days when I wasn't all alone.

(Yes, his name is a letter. I couldn't think of a good name for him, and that just seemed to fit. It'll probably change in the future).

"Don't Fall Asleep at the Helm" by Sleeping with Sirens.

I chose this song because being as he's based off of a sea creature, I figured that a band with a name such as "Sleeping with Sirens" was only fitting. I also imagined that his voice would sound similar to Kellin Quinn's, but maybe a tad bit deeper. The song is beautiful, really, and I can imagine him sitting on a seaside glacier, singing this song into the cold of the night.
I also chose this song because before he met L, Zale literally had nothing to live for. L gave him a purpose, but before, there was nothing.

This literally took me forever because I'm really just infatuated with this guy, and a tad bit desperate to make him my first JBD.
This was created using his theme song, and I'm actually very proud of it <3

This didn't take me as long as my first piece, but I had a lot of fun doing this!
It's a little animated avatar of Zale doing his most favorite thing in the world: Sleeping!
It was a tad rushed, but I can probably clean it up later.

Originally, L was supposed to be in both images, but on my first I finished up and completely forgot, and then going through and making the avatar I decided that is was better that I didn't put him in there, in case I don't win Zale.

Zale is a very free spirit; he prefers to keep worldly woes out of his life as much as possible, and just lives day to day. A very strong but extremely quiet individual, Zale is often found alone or nearby to L. Growing up, Zale knew very few others who could speak intelligent english, a so even though he had plenty of company with the whales and porpoises (minus the occasional polar bear trying to eat him), he never had any try social interaction. This has made him very awkward when he's around others of his kind, and even uncomfortable around the curious
tendencies of humans.
Despite his awkwardness, Zale is very laid back and calm. He's not too fond of running, as it makes him feel like he's rushing to something he'll get to anyways (unless it's an emergency, of course; or if another polar bear if after him). In his interactions, Zale is often very aloof, but that doesn't mean he isn't paying you any mind. he's actually paying attention, just his attention is usually on four different things at once. Zale is actually an amazing at multi-tasking, it's just that there typically isn't really that much to do in the north land of ice. The tundra is a bit more interesting, but he's not so fond of the wolves. But he stays in the arctic for four main reasons: #1, he holds himself responsible to take care of what little arctic territory he can; #2, the stars are absolutely stunning (he ADORES astronomy); #3, the Aurora Borealis has always been like a friend to him (he often talks to it if he's feeling lonely or troubled); and #4, he can't leave L all alone.
When Zale met L, the fox had a piece of plastic stuck around his neck that had been carelessly dumped off of the deck of a passing cruise ship. Jumping at the chance to help another creature, the two have grown inseparable, and the event made Zale grow a particular hatred for the cruiseliners that pass through his waters. He's not only become a best friend to L, though; Zale has also become somewhat of a father figure to the young fox, protecting him from anything he can, and comforting him during the long winter storms that plague the arctic year-round.
On Zale's bad side, though, he can often be too quick to jump the gun, and even though he doesn't like to fight, doesn't mean he won't. Zale can be very aggressive when it comes to protecting L, and is very territorial of his home. And when it comes to oblivious, sometimes not even a nuclear warhead can pull this guy out of his musings. Especially when there's an aurora in the sky. That's his thinking time.

Fall deeper and deeper, the sirens are singing your songs.
