Name: Eridanus

Eye Color: Purple with a ribbon of navy blue running though it

Why That Color: Eridanus is the name of a constellation meaning "river". It meanders through the night sky like a snake. The color purple in his eye represents the night sky, at dusk, just before it fades into night. Even though Eridanus is still young, he will grow up one day to appreciate the sky and the wonders and beauties it beholds. The ribbon of blue running through his eye represents his namesake constellation. A river is always flowing and although it is always the same river, it is changing as well. When Eridanus grows up one day, he will look and act different, but underneath, he will always stay true to himself. The blue ribbon blending into the purple eye symbolizes unity and a connection between the sky and the stars.

Name: Obscuree (Obscure - ee) He thinks it's far too girly though, so he prefers "Cure"
Eye Color: A deep purple/blue hue with flecks of gold and silver.

Why That Color: It's going to sound cliche, but he reminds me of the night. Not in an emo, dark, way, but the sort of colour of night-time you get in towns when the streetlights dye everything gold and silver and the little white pebbles in the foot-paths glow like little stars on the concrete. So, the deep blue-ish-purple represents the colour of the night in the country, dark and mysterious. The gold and silver represent the colour of night in the town, which is just as bright as the day, if you view it right. A bit like him, he seems dark and mysterious because of his pelt colour, but he's really bright, bubbly and joyful. (If a little quiet, and sometimes self-conscious.) Others seem to find his eyes "handsome" and as modest as he tries to appear, he loves the attention he gets for them when people first meet him.

Why That Color: Sirius reminds me of the night sky, and I think with those silvery gray eyes, noth9ing could compare to him. You have to shoot from the moon, because even if you miss, you will land among the stars.
