personality;; Tonnerre, as you can tell, is a very adventurous JMD. He loves to go outside, or go anywhere really. He considers anything an adventure, and if you say it isn't, he will just ignore you. You can't hold him back from an adventure, and if you are going somewhere in the world, he'll sneak into your suitcase and join the journey with you. Where ever there is a adventure, Tonnerre is there, it is impossible to keep him away. Of course, you can't blame him, his father took him on adventures when he was young, so he is only following his fathers footsteps.
Tonnerre is also very playful, even for his age, he still acts like a child sometimes. I guess this goes good with his adventurous part of the personality. He will often be playful around his friends, but around strangers he tries to act normal, which sometimes proves to be too hard for him. This is why it is good for him to have a pet that is playful, it helps him burn off all the energy that he is holding inside of him. There are times when he isn't playful, but that is only when he is inside, sleeping, eating or having a drink, which he does all of those things quickly, except for maybe sleeping.
He is one cherrful JMD. When you think your day is down, go to Tonnerre and he will cheer you up. He does his best to make his friends, and even some strangers, smile if they are feeling down. He is very cheerful when he can be, and some might think he is a bit too cheerful at times. He earned that wonderful trait from his mother. If something bad happens, he will always try to make you see the good side of things. Tonnerre is a good JMD to hang around with for this reason, as he tries to cheer everyone up, and he loves to have friends.

Adventure is Sari's most favorite activity in the whole wide world. She always wakes up at the crack of dawn, hoping she'll find something exciting to do, the earlier, the more dangerous, the better! Shes also very eager to learn advanced Kung Fu moves, the more extreme, the better! Her eyes glow with pleasure and sheer exhilaration whenever she is doing something extremely dangerous and insane, such as diving off a cliff. The day she hesitates to do anything exciting is the day pigs fly, in my opinion.

Just because Kung-Fu practice takes a lot of time doesn't mean you can neglect your brain! Sari enjoys literature and always digs out some time to study. Poems, history, writing... You name it. She has studied quite a bit in all subjects, and she is quite capable of solving problems that need smarts and knowledge. She uses much of her knowledge on reading ancient scrolls that wise masters before her have written, since much of it is in riddles, and you'll never know what the master actually means if you don't interpret it right.

Sari is a JMD who values her promises very much. Once she has made a promise, she will stop at nothing to accomplish it, even if it is impossible. You can always rely on her during quests or missions, because she will never ever let you down. Succeed, or die trying. That is her way of doing things.

☯Fiery☯

Despite her outgoing and happy nature, Sari can be a little fiery and hotheadded at times as well, especially when it comes to bullying, harassing or any kind of injustice. You can practically hear her blood boiling when she sees any injustice.. If she thinks whatever injustice-like action you make is simply too overboard to negotiate, she will jump on you without further ado. This often offends the victim of her wrath when it appears to be a mistake. You wouldn't feel very forgiving if you've just had the living daylights knocked out of you for something you didn't do, would you?

Sari is very, very independent... Or in other words, rather stubborn. She rarely asks for help, even if she really needs it. Other JMDs may find it a little frustrating while trying to cooraparate with her when she believes she can take care of things herself. It will definetly take quite a while to convince her she'll do a lot better with some help!

☯The Yin-Yang JMD Journal - Adventure to the Land of 6 Silver Rivers. ☯

☯Day One☯

Shifu was away today. I didn't have much to do, except do some more practice rounds and have some fun with new moves. So I decided to go poke around in the giant library at the other side of the Temple. I flew up carefully and rummaged around on the very top of the shelf, where the most ancient, the most dirty and the most mystical - looking books and scrolls were kept. I never did this when Shifu was around though. He always seemed a little irritated whenever I asked about that particular section. Anyways, I dug around for a while.. Boy, some of the scrolls were sure old! I'm talking the kind with ancient Chinese dialect here. One of them was really interesting, because it had ancient pictures to go with the script. I've hidden it in my room. Hope Shifu doesn't discover it! Its pretty big for an avarage scroll.Now if I can just get my hands on a lamp and I'll be good for the night. No sleep tonight... At least not until I fall asleep studying.

☯Day 2☯ (1)

Im wiritng this in the early morning.. The sun is just peeking over the trees. This dusty scroll is probably the most interesting thing I've ever studied. I'll put some notes here..

☯ First pic : Long winding road. - I suspect it's the small path that goes out of our territory and into the mountains... It sure sounds like it from the bits and pieces of ancient writing I've been able to dicipher.

☯ Second pic: Huuuuuge mountain with a big cloud covering the top. - Awesome drawing skills... I guess that's where the path leads to? I've never been there before.

☯ Third pic: A loooong twisting path all the way to the big cloud at the top of the mountain. - Wow. I guess it means to climb it?

☯ Fourth pic: A big, dark, cave at the top of the mountain... Also some notes and sketches of mythical-looking beasts at the side. Some of those look NASTY. One species had large wings, furry heads, and looooong teeth that stuck out from all sides, another looked like mutated elves.... There were tons of others, but I really can't describe them all here. - Gee. This is getting interesting.. And exciting!

☯ Fifth pic: A wide plain with lots of flowers, a Kirin, a stag, a Chinese dragon, a peacock and a lion. All of them are beautifully decorated with elaborate markings. - Hmm. How strange! A cave that opens up into a plain. Hmmm. The ancient writing said something to do with magic.

☯ Sixth pic: A big temple with more Chinese Dragons. Three in total. These look older than the previous ones. - the ancient writing suggests a question or something along those lines... HMMM.

... And that's about it. I've got to go practice and do chores.. More later.

Oh yes, I'vd nearly learned the " Dragon Flip" !! I just love the way I can bend the energy of light and blast through the air!! The wind whistles through my fur and the landscape gets turned into a beautiful blur tinged with gold. But I can't make it toward the end which is when I screech to a halt JUST above the ground and flip upwards like a spring. The key is to let your mind go blank and let go. But I can't flip for some reason! Shifu says it has something to do with my heart and spirit.... I guess it's got something to do with growing up with no parents.

Argh. Still no progress at dat flip! I practically spent the morning trying to avoid faceplants. I did go and do a few speedy laps around the territory though, just to burn off some more energy. Its really fun no matter how many tines I do it. Now I'm back in my room, looking at that weird scroll. OMG big discovery!! Theres a secret page in one of the rollers of the scroll!! It says something about treasure! I'm actually pretty tempted to actually go out and explore and see if it's true. Uh-Oh I hear Shifu. Better turn in for the night. I'm still so hyped up though!!

☯Day 3☯

Whoop morning again! Well, after a whole night of thinking, I've decided to go explore! I heard Shifu mention he was invited to some awesome top-secret master's meeting or something... Hopefully I can sneak out then. Sure I'll get a tongue-lashing if he comes back and finds me gone... But I don't regret it. This adventure is goong to rock, as far as I know! Lemme make a list of what I'll bring..

Oh YES. He's going to be away for 10 days!! Hopefully I can get back without being noticed. But anyways, now I'm all set, LET'S GOOOOO.......

Whoah. The mountain looked smaller in the picture. Im writing this at the foot of the mountain described in the scroll.... Looks like I'll have to fly a little, then walk a little etc. all the way up! The trail wasn't a problem, I just zoomed and doged my way through the forest. But this mountain is sure to be a challenge! Its this massive wall of stone with mist and clouds wreathing it. There arent even eagles up there.
Right, enough writing. Action time.

Phew! I'm guessing I'm about halfway up. Im kinda out of breath, my fur is dusty, and my pads feel a little raw. This mountain trail is sure treacherous! I've had to pop across gaps, avoid rockfalls and chase away some big black flying things... And I still can't see the top, but the Spirals of this trail are definetly growing smaller.. Hopefully I'm nearing. I also have the feeling I'm being watched though. I'd better be on the alert.

Yes. Finally. I'm at the top... And some ways into the cave. I have a scratched muzzle and a big bruise on my back. Yep, the scroll was right. There are tons of beasts around that cave!! Because as soon as I reached the small clearing in front of the cave, a big white three-eyed Roc swooped down and nearly clawed my guts out! Good thing I dove out of the way and have it a swift wack across the face as I passed, knocking it down the mountain, dazed. But the battle wasn't over yet! Three goblin-looking things with saber teeth leaped out of the rocks and came straight for me. I quickly aimed a snap kick and danced out of the way. I didn't dare fly into the air after the Roc. One jumped me again, but I swatted it away with a few swishes of my baton, sending it crashing into its comrades.. Then they all rolled out of sight in a screeching tangle of teeth and arms. Guess what? Nope, that was not the end of it. Last but not least, this huge green-faced monster with horns stomped out of the cave and swung a bigsmelly fist at me! I managed to roll out of the way, but not before it managed to tweak my tail and I smacked agains a rock... Ow. The thing was faster than it looked! I quickly sprang up to face it, Shifu's instructions going through my mind like a river. Then I remembered a story. I won't go into details, but I had an idea how to defeat this monster. Size! Narrowing my eyes, I tucked my baton behind me and flew full speed right up to te monster!/ nose. His eyes were so bloodshot it was hard to see his pupils. Sure enough, he tried to punch me again. Like hell I was gonna let him! I dodged cunningly out of the way in the nick of time and watched with a small smirk as he over punched and knocked himself clean down the mountain with that punch. Id have to say it was hilarious! Well, that was the end of that. I've gotta get some sleep.

They told me I gave light. They said my name was Ijos. I had no choice but to accept how it was.

Personality;

Ijos is rather shy, being raised in an orphanage and all. He really just likes to sit in a corner and watch you. Sometimes he seems like an obsessive stalker if he likes you. But that's Ijos's way of saying hello! If you can get him to talk, his true, rushy personality comes out. It makes him seem like a hyper, jumping off cliffs kind of a maniac. If you become his friend, he will drag you into... Skydiving? And if you dare to refuse Ijos, he can become quite a nightmare...

What he Likes and Hates;

Ijos hates people who think he is ugly, and people who try to be his friend. If he wants to be friends, He'll send the invitation! Ijos loves being alone under his giant bunny quilt, (Yes, I said giant bunny quilt) and sleeping. He also loves Skydiving. Oh, and did I mention he likes kittens?

His Backstory;

Ijos was left on the doorstep of an orphanage when he was a baby. He was taken in, and the lady who ran the orphanage was Icelandic. She and her husband named him Ijos, because he was so bright! He lived a great life at the orphanage. When his foster mother and father grew too old to run the orphanage, Ijos was ten. He left with his bunny quilt and headed to Iceland. After a mile, he got picked up by the police. He told them "I'm going to Iceland! Leave me alone!" They put him in a foster home. After a week he ran away, and went to a nearby lake. He survived by hunting and fishing. When he turned twenty, he went back into the world. Pretty awkward.
