A Jewel Mane Dragon is a large creature with jewls on their foreheads and tails.They eat mostly small mamals such as birds, squirels, and rabbits. The fur on their back, hind, and front legs feel like the softest of silk and is pretty short. The fur around their neck (Also know as their mane) and tail is very soft, fluffy, and long. Jewel mane Dragons mostly keep to themselves but when they find someone they like the grow very attached, loyal, and talkative. They're all slightly bigger than a mustang but some grow to be as large as a elephant. All Jewel Mane Dragons have jewels at the end of their tail and on their forehead, there's really no exception to that rule. The jewel on their tail is used as a weapon in combat and hunting, while the jewel on their forehead is used during mating season to atract females.

Why this name?:Well, clearly he looks like checkerboard! The crown and the other markings they all remind me of a checkerboard! And the way the whole character is constructed it looks amazing and deserves a lovely name! Also, there was a french army which this reminded me of this gorgeous boy and how they put the big white cloaks over the horses.

This was choosen as he does remind me of a medieval jousting horse - they are very strong yet graceful and yet they are used for such, brutal purposes. Jousting is such a, dangerous, and vicious sport I believe it can be described as destructive.
Personality:Dew is an intellectual counterpart. He's constantly over thinking everything and is quite caught up in the moment. Dew doesn't always get along with other Jewel Mane Dragons as he constantly is speaking what is on his mind. When he isn't, there is most likely something wrong. Dewy is not very easily distracted and will get annoyed if someone pulls him away from his... 'work'. Dew is very interested in mixing different samples of disolvable suppliments and liquids to reveiw what the outcome is. Some believe this hobby is a very weird one, but Dewy just happily brushes them off and continues to be himself. He usually is talking to himself while working. The only time he socializes is when he is versing another JMD in Checkers or Chess. One of the best things he can do. But he's not a sore loser. He's quite impressed when someone beats him (he ALMOST never loses).

What will become of Dew?:He will live here with all of my other characters. I will draw him constantly and buy art of him and find him a mate. Jeu de dames deserves to be pampered, and treated with the kind of love only a character should be treated with. He is so special to me and I will not let him be mistreated in my home. He'll have plenty of friends, stories and art to adventure through and a wonderful home to explore.
Why do you want to adopt him?I really want to adopt him, because he's such a handsome and attractive boy! I really thought I connected with him so hopefully that is expressed in this form enough for you so see how much owning him would mean to me. His design is so simple that it's easily replicable and I don't have many characters like that so it really attracts me to his design. When I first saw him, I smiled and my heart skipped a beat. That heart beat was given to him to bring him to life for me. His personality is the most unique characteristics/traits i've given to a character before, but if any character could pull this personality off, it would certainly be him in all his entiraty! If I do not get him, I... I just hope the person who gets him will love him <3
