How she became blind: Anastasia is a very curious bundle of joy that loves to explore and examine things. It's was New Years Eve and her parents just got home with a surprise, fire crackers! Her and her sister rushed over and secretly got one from the bag and snuck it to their room. When their parents were asleep, they lit one up outside in their backyard, the poor girls did not know they had to step away and were severely burnt and a spark landed in both of Ana's eyes, making her loose her sight. Her sister, unfortunately, died from extreme burns for she was the one that lit it up. Ana was quickly rushed to the hospital and declared blind, a week later.

"I was always blind. I sometimes feels like its a curse. When I was born I was born blind. Nobody knew for years. One day people started seeing me walk In circles. My mother saw this too. A shaman told my family I was blind. I never knew what was blindness. I thought the world was black. In my dreams...it was black. Till one night in my dreams. I saw the most amazing thing. It was the moon and stars and planets. When I woke up...it was black and dark... My friends are now my eyes. They tell me what they see"

"Luna...you ok?" asked Rain
Luna was staring at the dark sky her blind eyes moving but unseeing. Her ears twitched moving from side to side. "I hear stars." she said softly. " Luna...you can't hear stars...they make no noise" said Rain. "I can hear them sing..." she said turnin her head towards my voice. "They are singing a tale about seasons" she said. "Season......Really?" asked a new voice. "What do you want StarHowl.." Rain said In a bored voice. "Nothing Rainbow! I don't see why you should listin to Luna. She can't see anything only her dreams" said a Gray wolf who sat down next to Rain. He was gray with a red tuff of hair, one red paw and tail tip. His eyes..are what make him a spirit. "She says stars are singing" Said Rain glaring at StarHowl. "The stars Stopped.."Whimpered Luna. "They might of went to sleep" said Rain petting the top of Luna's head. "You should get some sleep too". They walked inside a tree cave and little Luna fell asleep singing

Daniella, but her nickname is Dani.
Her name means miracle because it is the feminine version of Daniel who, in the Bible, was able to survive the den of lions much like Dani was able to survive the "scientists".

How she became blind:
Dani was not born blind, but was once a sort of "lab rat", being held captive by "scientists" in crisp white lab coats. They performed many experiments on her, most not too harmful, except for when they tried to enhance her vision. Even with the advanced technology they owned, they couldn't change the outcome. Her blindness resulted in the "scientists" finding no more use for her so she was cast out onto the street, left to fend for herself. For a long time she roamed the streets alone until she was scooped up into a loving home and nursed back to health, yet she was permanently blind.

I awoke quickly, sheer cold pierced my back and I realized I was lying on a metal table. A sharp jerk of my paws was enough to confirm I was strapped in. Trapped. Fighting down the panic that rose in my throat and threatened to drive me insane, I went through my memory, trying to remember what happened. I was captured by strange smelling creatures. They took me here. I don't know where here is. I will get out. Finally suppressing the fear, I took a moment to assess my surroundings. A bright light shone above me, hurting my eyes, but it barely lit the room so it appeared dank and as if it went on forever. Next to me I was able to make out a small table that was covered with a greenish tarp and topped with an assortment of weird-shaped tools.
I smelled them before I was able to see them. Twisting my head to the left I was able to make out the silhouettes of three men. The same three men that had captured me. A strange, twisted emotion engulfed me: rage. The three men surrounded me, talking in some incoherent language. They shone laser-pointers into my eyes, mumbling to each other as one of them scribbled down something onto a pad of paper. Suddenly, their putrid, gloved fingers were all over my face, poking and prodding me. Searing hot pain flashed into my eyes as a shriek filled the air and it took me a moment until I realized the horrifying sound was coming from me. My rage overcoming her, I lashed out in a futile attempt to get free. I managed to clip one of the men's hands with my teeth and I was rewarded with a hard smack in my stomach that left me breathless with a woosh of air. My vision swam with grey before I lost consciousness from the pain and lack of air.
Slowly, I sucked oxygen back into my lungs and quickly stood up onto my paws. I'm free? Shaking my head to clear my mind, I opened my eyes. At least, I thought I did. All I saw was black and it terrified me. Was I dreaming? No, my stomach throbbed with pain from where the man hit me. The sound of the rain that surrounded me, drowned out the soft wail that escaped my lips. I am blind. Not knowing where to go, I stumbled blindly through the path ahead of me.
After days of wandering, I grew quite hungry and my paws were raw from all the walking I'd done and everything I'd stepped on and ran into. I was just about to collapse to the ground when a warm smell filled the air followed by a sweet, melodic voice.
"Are you lost little girl?" The voice said.
A small whimper escaped me and the next thing I know, I'm being scooped up into sweet-smelling arms. They were soft, but firm and they had a strange calming ability that when the voice began to walk, I was being lulled into a deep sleep.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of you." Was the last thing I heard and I knew in that instant, I was home.

How she became blind:
Charity has glaucoma. this happens when the optic nerve is damaged. that's what lead to her blindness. when Charity was very young, and not yet nocturnal, she adventured away from her parents and ran into a predator (probably a raccoon, she can't remember because she startled the creature before she could get a good look). the animal attacked, swiping first at her eyes and then towards her belly as she fell. it fled quickly after.
her mother found her and she was carefully nursed back to health. for a time she was able to see but her vision became worse and worse because of the damaged nerve. eventually, permanent blindness took over two years after her accident.

Gender: Female
How she became blind: As we know, it is possible to develop blindness in a number of ways - Looking into the Sun too long, or snow, or in Fey's case - The Moon. Yes, Fey suffers from 'Moon Blindness.' Its symptoms are the same as blindness in any other form. Although her inability to see has slowed her down a tad and she is a bit more cautious in her actions, Fey is still just as sweet as any other Lumirett. She plays with her friends and generally keeps up with the rest of the group, but also enjoys her privacy. Despite the Moon's ill-effects on her vision, Fey's favorite thing to do is Moon-bathing - Climbing up on a hill and staring at the moon. Even though she cannot see its craters and light, she feels a special connection with the Moon and will never give that up.

Footstep thudded closer and closer as I bolted through the treetops. I peeked behind me to see the wolves racing toward me with hungry eyes. Their tongues hung out as though they wanted to lick me, but I knew that wasn't it. I turned back and raced around the trees. Hate you. Hate you. Hate you. I thought furiously. The lumi who'd gotten me into this really didn't know what he was gonna get after. I could feel the wolves breath on my tail as I tried to race faster. I stumbled on a few horrid knotted roots and fell flat on my
face. Amber eyes glared into my blue ones as I got up from the soft ground. I backed up slowly. "Aah!" I shouted, trying to scare them away. they only came closer. And closer. And closer more. Suddenly the black wolf let out a bark and the rest raced toward me. I faced my doom, frozen in horror. I could only stand and wait. The wolves glared at me. All I did was simply step across the border. Then my mind snapped back to reality. Claws were inches from my face, near my large eyes. I screeched as claws raked across my face, as I felt blood pouring down it. I heard them circling, claws raking down my sides. I screamed and hollered for someone to help. Anyone. A new scent found it's way in, not wild like the wolves, but one like mine. It played a sweet tune, sending the wolves away. The lumi helped my up and guided me toward the tree from which she came and took care of me. I was lucky I survived, but it payed a price. I was blind.
