'Faon', simply meaning 'Fawn' in French.
Faon's quiet feet trampled the grass, freshly laid dew flicking from the blades onto her speckled cheeks. Her wide eyes blinking, as she subtly stopped. A gentle dragonfly rested itself upon her nose, making her twitch. Faon did not bother to disturb the creature only stare at it as it made a very quiet buzzing noise. Her eyelashes must have tickled it, for it retreated off into the grass as it once began before the encounter. She shook her head, and began to run again. Her mother had disappeared, she had no time to dilly-dally. Faon stopped after about a half mile, tired. She snuggled under a bush, bringing immediate warmth to her soft fur. Faon gently shut her eyes, not knowing that for the rest of her life, she would have to live alone. No family, friends or anyone. No one. Faon only had the bugs and birds to accompany her, which she didn't mind. Faon didn't know what it was like to have a family.
