A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

This little lass is looking for a forever home and therefore will have a somewhat difficult contest.

The end date is March 29th, activity on the forums and FC is highly encouraged. Her name will stay the same. She doesn't have to stay with her mate unless you two want her to, her personality can be changed, but please try to maintain some of the same aspects.

Please be sure that if you apply for her you are going to keep her and remain active with her. She has had a number of owners now and the one who is placing her back UFA really wants her to find a loving home.

This one was not easy, I tell you. I had a hard time choosing a winner let alone a runner up. So because of that there won't be a runner up, just a winner with this one.

This is probably her most dominant trait. Head in the clouds all the time and always coming up with impractical/illogical suggestions. She usually escapes to her own little world of her own creation and seems to just be staring into space when really she's creating a magic in her own mind. Physically she never acts like she's there (unless playing with child-beans) but mentally she wanders there frequently. Don't think of her as childish as she is rather grown up and respectable. She never tells anyone but those she can truly rely on about her little world, it makes it all the more special.

She also isn't the most finicky of beans. Not to the extent that she leaves everywhere she goes somewhat like a pigsty though. As she spends the majority of her life outside, cleaning up doesn't really occur to her and most people's pet hates won't bother her at all.

Some people may also call one of her habits a quirk. She starts to tap out rhythms on the ground with her feet and tail during conversations with can annoy the person/bean she's conversing with to their wits end. However some others enjoy iy and try to join in with her.

Gingernut doesn't have a big embarrassing secret that would totally humiliate her if it got out. She has lots of little secrets that mean the world to her and help make her who she is, you have to be pretty special to her to find out about. A beautiful August 14th morning sun blossomed in the sky, dancing on the bright colours of a JBD egg, hidden among a patch of beaming marigolds. Gingernut's mother, lay just a little away lovingly guarding her egg and gazing at the blanket of clouds above. Orange butterflies decorated the garden and complimented the orange flowers and beans perfectly. A loan butterfly that matched the blue sky more than the flowers landed delicately on the tip of the mother snout and caught her attention. Meanwhile, a crack had appeared on the shine of the egg, then another, and another, until the jellybean shaped egg was close to breaking. Completely oblivious, the mother sat, still fixated on the azure butterfly. The egg began to rock; clearly about to hatch. Then, it did. A stunningly gorgeous bean flopped onto the ground bearing a childish smile of pure content. Her coat shone as bright as the marigold and her eyes beamed as bright as the butterfly. Shuffling through the jungle of flowers on her tummy with her fluffy baby bean paws stretched out in front of her, she came across a seed the same size as her head and hugged it tenderly. It was then that her mother noticed the egg was no longer intact and began to panic seriously. She jumped to her feet, unable to see her new daughter in the matching marigolds. Suddenly, she spotted the blue among all the orange and saw her daughter for the very first time, hugging a seed...
That day, her mother pushed the seed into the ground and from then on, it began to grow...
Ginger's child years were rather lonely except for the company of her parents, she struggled to socialize as she was rather shy and had no interest in talking with others as she was happy playing/being with herself. Though her shyness wore off with age, he contentment with being alone hasn't really.
As a teen, she became more interested in making friends but still valued specific ones more than others and began to become rather secretive about her life, dreams and feelings. Usually she bore a smile and her voice matched her joy however sometimes her expression became rather blank as she drifted of into thought.
Nowadays, she is upbeat and kind but not overly so and only hyper on really rare occasions. She still likes to pick and choose her friends though she'll happily talk to anyone. She'd love to start a family one day with her perfect match, to her it would be like a secure live-long friendship and wouldn't want to get to serious to fast.
Her life has changed a lot through the years.
Every year, she returns to the seed from her birth that is now a tree. It reminds her of her past and reminds her to keep moving forward no matter what changes, that one thing will always remain.

Why you want her:
Basically, she's just brilliant. When she first came i instantly feel in love and have been in ever since. Orange is my favourite colour and her design is so beautiful and bubbly, not to complex but utterly gorgeous and I adore how her eyes clash with her coat but still fit perfectly. Her design gave me a huge personality inspiration that I think suits her well and holds a lot of potential and opportunity for art of all kinds (including literature as I love writing stories about my beans). Having her to draw could help improve my art skills. I already own two absolutely perfect beans for me (Azura and Keeper) who're both still children and I adore them, I think Ginger would be a fantastic addition to our family as her personality is different and once again, the three of them together would lead to great art, role-playing and loads of other stuff as she would be the oldest in the house though I'm sure she would love it. I'm sad to see Jetti as her owner no longer as she was great for Ginger and I'd be happy to talk to her about how Ginger was doing with me if I was to win, maybe rp together and stuff. I'd love to give her her forever home..

Gingernut is easily frightened, even by a simple, yet sudden, noise. Sometimes she jumps when she is in the forest and a twig snaps or she hears a rustle in the bushes. But she can be very protective over her loved ones, and her personality changes when she is with her friends. Gingernut then becomes a big show off and does anything to impress them. Well, almost anything. As long as it isn't jumping off a cliff or standing infront of a car or bus. Thats just stupid.

Oh my gosh. There are uncountable reasons why I would want to own Gingernut. I have tried out for many, many JBD's. Yet failed to win one. I have seen that loads of other users have a JBD, some even have all four JBD slots full! It just makes my so jealous. And, its just heartbreaking to hear that Gingernut has been tossed around lots of different users, yet not found her true user that will love her... Like all of the other Jellybean dragon owners. Its unfair that Gingernut hasn't got a loved home, yet is being put up for re-adoption. I can imagine Gingernut being my own - and first - JBD. I roleplay her, find her a boyfriend / mate. Order art, make Gingernut her own thread. Her thread will/would be made with love and care. She would take over my plain and boring signiture, making it fun and exiting. I hope that her list of art will be... Well, endless. Huge. I would be extremely proud to own a JBD, especially Gingernut. There aren't many orange dragons, Gingernut if one of the few. She has a simple design, so that would mean that I can make more art of her. The newest ones have complicated designs, so they are hard to draw and colour. There aren't many simple designs now, But Gingernut... Such a simple and beautiful design. Its annoying when I see people with a signiture full of thier JBD(s), it makes me feel upset and jealous. This is the story of Gingernut enjoying her very first autumn, her favorite season, told by Gingernut. She is quite the writer, so it is spoken in the way she would tell a story- In poetic verse;

The world is a beautiful place.
I was just a little girl back then, who hadn't really experienced the world to it's fullest quite yet. The weather that day was absolutely beyond gorgeous. There was a lovely breeze flowing through my fur. The sunlight was filtered through the vibrant trees, creating patches of light that stretched across the bed of fallen leaves. As I pranced through the scenery, I will never forget the way I felt- that sense of pure freedom. It was as if nothing in the world could harm me. It was truly beyond words. I could never imagine it any other way.
The world is a beautiful place.

Gingernut is almost always in a good mood! Nothing ever seems to make her unhappy. She simply loves life, and almost everything that comes with it!

The truth is, she really likes children's shows. Even the ones that aren't any good. Her comment above is actually proof of these things, coming from a Spongebob episode (Which is known for having gone through some substantial seasonal rot). Interestingly, she also hates having to take baths, and she tends to do whatever she can to avoid them. We've sort of given up on getting her to take them knowingly, and usually end up just filling the pool with soapy water.
