What colour are Haflinger horses? Chestnut Pangnare?
Whats the difference between cremello and perlino? Cremello is a double creme gene on a red base the horse should have a very white pearly color, blue eyes, pink skin and usually more white-based mane/tail. A perlino is a double creme gene on a bay base.

Is palomino a breed? No, because not all palomino's are eligible because certain breeds only register horses with a golden colored body and a white mane and tail. Light and dark palomino's are not eligible. It is a color not a breed. It is usually mistake as a breed because there are registries for palomino horses.
What colour are Haflinger horses? The color of a haflinger horse can range from pale chestnut to dark liver chestnut with a pale mane and tail.
Whats the difference between cremello and perlino? A cremello horse will have a white mane and tail while a perlino will have a mane and tail along with "points" that are darker than the color of their body hair and these darker areas are usually rust or orange hued.

What colour are Haflinger horses? A Haflinger's color runs the full range of chestnut and can be from a blonde to a golden palomino to a chocolate color. The manes and tails are usually very luxurious and colored between white and flaxen. (Info from here)
Whats the difference between cremello and perlino? A Cremello is like a "double palomino" and a Perlino, like a "double buckskin,". A Cremello horse will have a WHITE mane and tail, just as a palomino would. Some Cremellos have hair coats which are so pale that their body will look just as white as their mane and tail, while others are more markedly cream colored. A Perlino horse will have mane, tail, and "points" that are DARKER than thier body hair coat, like a buckskin would. But instead of being black, these darker areas are usually rust or orange hued. Is palomino a breed? Palomino is a color, but is considered to be a "color breed." Horses with this color may be registered, such as with the Palomino Horse Breeders Association, regardless of what breed they are.
What colour are Haflinger horses? Haflingers are always chestnut in color, and come in shades ranging from a light gold to a rich golden chestnut or liver hue.
Whats the difference between cremello and perlino? From looking at them, a Cremello horse will have a white mane and tail, just as a palomino would. On the other hand, a Perlino horse will have mane, tail, and "points" that are darker than their body hair coat, like a buckskin would. But instead of being black, these darker areas are usually rust or orange hued.

If you are looking at genes, a Perlino is two cream genes on a bay and a Cremello is two cream genes on a chestnut.

Is palomino a breed?
Paliminos are classified as a color breed. Color breed refers to groupings of horses whose registration is based primarily on their coat color, regardless of the horse's actual breed or breed type.

Palomino is a colour, but there are breeds that never exhibit it (Arabian breed registries for instance do NOT recognise it, Thoroughbreds exhibit it rarely and Andalusian registries can't agree with each other) and breeds that have it quite frequently (a lot of American breeds, like the Quarter Horse and the Missouri Fox Trotter). Palomino comes from one of the dilution genes, the cream gene.

Thus, Palimino is a color

What colour are Haflinger horses? Haflinger horses are always chestnut in color, but not all Haflinger horses look the same. They have diffrent shades, but yes, all are chestnut colored.

Whats the difference between cremello and perlino?

A Cremello horse will have a WHITE mane and tail, just as a palomino would. Some Cremellos have hair coats which are so pale that their body will look just as white as their mane and tail, while others are more markedly cream colored.

While a Perlino will have mane, tail, and "points" that are DARKER than thier body hair coat, like a buckskin would. But instead of being black, these darker areas are usually rust or orange hued.

Gene-wise, Cremello is a double creme gene on a red base (meaning chestnut), and a Perlino is a double creme gene on a bay base (meaning, well, bay lol this given that there is Agouti working in connection with the horse's black base--whether it be heterozygous or homozygous).
