"Well, I do like her very much, but I've always found myself a tad envious of her unique colors and style. Sometimes we can get a little competitive, but in the end I love her, and I know she loves me too."
Personality::

"Oh, I'm mostly a very happy little dragon, but I have my days. I get hurt very easily, yet I find it impossible to hold a grudge or remain sulky, as I am usually bouncing around everywhere. I definitely have a sense of lady-like, and I find it disgusting when I see others chew with their mouths open, or leave their mouths dangling open, or slouching. I know I can be a bit annoying, especially when it comes to my OCD level of cleanliness and my stubbornness on never backing down, even if I'm wrong.
I tell outrageous lies for fun, but I really see no harm in it, as long as everybody knows I'm joking in the end. I'm very stubborn, and I know it. Another one of my weak points is that I am extraordinarily lazy. I will not do one thing I don't need to unless I enjoy it or it benefits me, such as designing. My room is a mess of scattered papers, dried out markers and pens, pencils down to an inch with worn down erasers and clothes laying on the floor. But I don't really care, because to me, it's home."
Fashion Style::

"Me? When I was young, I never bothered with art and designs, because I was just terrible. But my best friend, and my rolemodel was obsessed with sketches and patterns, and I wanted to be exactly like her. So I practiced a lot. And I got better after years, and I finally have my sense of fashion.
Well, I like swirls and stripes, soft, flowy looks and naturey things. Golden. light cream, peach, midnight blue, and of course, teal are colors I use often in my designs and concept arts. I have countless unfinished projects, and the ones I so finish and find brilliant, I hang on my wall, which is cluttered with posters and papers."

"It's a teal ostrich plume feather. My favorite color's teal, and I thought they looked absolutely gorgeous. Almost every single one of my designs have one included."

Name:: "Her name is Ashen."

" I think we've all established by now that my name is Ashen."

Why her name is Ashen: It's name I found in a book, first of all. When I was think of names for this JMD, it popped into my head because it seemed to suit her darker colors. Her personality is also a bit like Ashen in the book.

What does she think of her sister, Pavo?:: "Ashen is jealous of Pavo because she is the younger one and Pavo is sometimes bossy to her. They fight a lot, but in the end they always make up (though it can take weeks for them to make up). She admires her sister's sense of fashion but sometimes thinks it is too extravagant. Both Ashen and Pavo love to share their artistic skills with each other. Pavo also helps Ashen to be less shy since she is very outgoing. Ashen wonders how she does it."

"What, I don't admire her! ... Ok, I guess I do. Although, Pavo can be soooo annoying and bossy sometimes... but mostly, we're good friends -who argue A LOT. And I admit, she does have some artistic skill."

Personality:: "Ashen is extremely artistic and musical and a bit of a science and math whiz (but she doesn't think these skills are useful to her since she dreams of becoming an artist). She loves to read and is very sweet and shy. Ashen loves fantasy novels and pretending she is the characters in her books. She can be very stubborn sometimes and is very practical. Ashen is also quite witty/humorous and fun-loving once she gets used to someone."

Fashion Style:: "She loves swirls and feathers (but not too much) which she uses in a simple but artistic way. She is more practical than fancy because she doesn't like to be a fuss."

What's her favorite Feather?:: "Oddly enough, magpie feathers. She loves the way they are normally black but when the sun glints off of them they look bluey turquoise. "

"Yeah, their feathers are really pretty and simple... but I don't like magpies, they're so loud and annoying!"



Likes:"Ashen likes change so often that I never really know them so I'm just gonna let her tell you what she likes (and dislikes)."

"Well, I like feathers, painting, sculpting, sketching, swirls, music, nature, colors (specifically blues, grays, purples, -but not lavendar- and greens). I also like, bugs, fizzy lemonade and sprite, brownies, the smells of spearmint and pine, plaid, rolling around in the mud, popping out and scaring people, books... and yeah, well, that's all I can think of for now."

Dislikes:

Why I want her: "I want this lovely JMD because she is the most gorgeous JMD I have seen yet. She has details that I absolutely love; her eyes that look like they're reflecting the light of the moon, the feather on her tail, the swirls all on her tail, ears and legs -I have an addiction to doodling swirls in class:roll:. Her colors are also some of my favorites, turquoise is my number one favourite color and gray always catches my eye because I like simpler designs. I especially love a plain colored adoptable with brighter, colorful details. I also find that her design kind of reflects my own personality in it. Also, she would be my very first and favorite JMD!"

Her favorite book/series: The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke.

Her dream destination: Venice, Italy (the setting of The Thief Lord). She wants to go there because in The Thief Lord it describes it as beautiful and slightly mysterious. She dream of seeing all the winged lions and horses and see the many canals in this city.

Her favourite movie: Up (It makes her laugh every time)

What she does with her jewel: First of all, let's get things straight, I believe her jewel is blue, not green. Ashen likes to worry her friends by going underwater for a long time and not coming up to breathe. They do not know the extent to how long she can go without breathing so, it worries them. Ashen also likes to splash large quantities of water onto her friends and Pavo (mostly Pavo though). She also sometimes uses her control of the water for self-defense, if she feels uncomfortable in a situation or feels threatened she has the tendency to splash water on them.

Short story (from Ashen's point of view): I had just jumped into the lake. It was cold, but my layers of fur kept me warm. I had decided to go swimming since I needed some fresh air. I had been working on the same painting for most of the day and was becoming sick of the indoors.

The painting was a picture of a lake. The lake I was swimming in, in fact. However, it wasn't the point of view I was seeing right now. I had painted the surface of the lake, not what was below the surface and other than that, it had been on a sunny day in August. Not a chilly November evening. It was becoming awfully boring to paint and I had come down here to get my mind off of the painting. Clearly, my logic was faulty since being at the lake was just making me think about it more.

I continued swimming.

As I swam, I thought about how much more interesting it would be to paint what I was seeing right now. Dark water, sand, pebbles, and most interesting of all, shadows. There was shadows all around me due to the dark, cloudy day and all the trees around the lake. They seemed to give the water some interest.

After a couple more minutes of swimming and staring at the shadows, my resolve was hardened. I was going to paint what I saw. Don't get me wrong, I was still going to finish and love the other, more pleasant painting but this seemed a whole lot more interesting if you ask me.

I was finally finished at this lake. I came up to breath, and to get out of this freezing water.


At home, I quickly finished the other painting and got to work on the new one. I had the exact picture in my head. I remembered, in detail, every part of what I'd seen. Oh yeah, did I mention I have a photographic memory?

Anyways, that painting has been one of my favorites ever since, it reminds me to always try to see the other side of a story.

Personality::

Adehied is a shy and humble JMD.. She always sees the best in others and the worst in herself. Friendly and cooparative, she can also be a total doormat sometimes. But when it comes to a loved one or something she really cares about, you will find that she has completely turned into another JMD . Neglection in the past has drastically changed her nature, and no one knows what is her true personality in her sealed inner self... Maybe, just maybe, another JMD will unlock it.. Maybe not.

" I prefer some simple silks and some flowers braided into my fur.. A bracelet or two is also quite pleasing. "

" I find ostrich feathers delightful. Besides being big and fluffy, they also go with my coloration very well. Gray with a bit of black.. Simple but not too simple.Here's an example."
