I was originally considering Ryūjin (龍神), the great dragon god of the sea because of his imperial, fire-y colours, but his earthy and fox-like palette made me reconsider, and I settled on the fox god, Inari. When I found out Inari is also shown as a dragon, the name seemed to fit all the more.
