{Serendipity, Seren or Dipity for short, was unusually late. His mother thought he was not going to make it and tossed him aside, she gathered the rest of her young and cuddled with them, but not seren, he was to be an outcast. Being alone he had no idea how to survive, he went a weekend without anyone to care for him. Then came a long a creature, a creature he had never seen before, it was a jewel mane dragon. "Hey kid" the sleek dragon said, "where's your ma?" He asked looking around to see if any dragons that looked like the little kid were nearby. To no avail, he saw none, seen sat quietly looking up at the large dragon, wondering 'maybe he's my dad?'. Then the dragon introduced himself, to the newborn, "My names Adain" seren looked back up at Adain. "I got a little one back at my place if you want to come hang out" Adain explained, he's actually about the same age as you" he started muttering to himself thinking how great it would be for Pistachio, his adopted son, more like his little brother. "So you want to go?" Adain asked, seren didn't know what to do, he had never had a family and was never told not to talk to strangers, so he went along with Adain.
