Name:
Tucker

Short story under 800 words:
Tucker has always loved planes and watching them take off as he waited in the airport with
his parents. So, when he opened up a gift on his 10th birthday, he was really excited to see a
new book about World-War II planes inside the box. He began reading, and although all of the
planes were really cool, Tucker loved to read about the B-17 planes. They fascinated him, and
soon he started drawing them and building them out of legos. He just thought that the way they
looked was really cool.

His parents had taken notice of this. So, as an extra present, they paid for a trip to Washington D.C.
to go to the Air and Space Museum so that he could learn more about B-17's. Tucker loved it. At the
end of the day, they had to drag him out of the museum. But they only did that because their was another
surprise waiting for him. There, right outside the museum, stood an actual B-17 plane used in World War II
that was open for touring.

Tucker was astounded. He not only was able to go on the plane, but also received a personal tour from
the veteran who had flown the plane. At the end of the day, the veteran gave him a pilot's pin as well
as aviator goggles with his name and the words B-17 on them as a souvenir to bring home. And best
of all, his parents treated him to McDonald's for dinner, one of his favorite places to eat.On the
plane ride home, Tucker couldn't stop smiling. He was wearing his pin and goggles, and was doodling
plans in his notebook non-stop. He wears the items sometimes now, and likes to pretend that he's a pilot.

Tucker will surely never forget his 10th birthday. The book, the museum, and the old plane really helped to make it
a special day for him.

Five words to describe him:
~Kind
~Curious
~Ingenuous
~Fun-Loving
~Polite

Well I haven't seen many dog/cat based JBD's, nor blue ones. So I
think that it would be cool to see more of those.

short story under 800 words:

{Murder at the Woods}
The air was crisp with electricity, and every sound echoed loudly through the woods. The silence was tense in expectation to what was going to happen. Suddenly, a blood-curdling scream froze Fizz from moving. He took a deep breath, and listened carefully. The scream pierced the air again, making him jump at the sound. Fizz poked his head carefully from his hidedeout, a hollow tree where he kept his compass. Nothing was to be seen. Just plaing, white, flaky snow, with-- wow, wait! There was something, after all. A blood red spot laid peacefully on the shimmering snow. He quickly scrambled out, glancing around to see if anyone was coming. Still, the forest laid deserted. The only thing in sight was that ruby red drop staring merciless at him. Was... Was it... Could it be.... Could that red spot be blood? Fizz shook the thought out of his mind. It just couldn't be. He sniffed the air for any clues of who spilled the blood. Nope. Just the fresh smell of pine needles. Hesitantly, he approached the blood, looking for some signs of anything that may have caused the blood to leak. Something had just moved through the bushes! He knew it! It had ti be the animal that spilled the blood. Or maybe... It was the one that attacked the other. He had to be very careful. Fizz walked stealthily, and peeked through the bushes. A red fox was sitting there, like a sentinel. Fizz walked over to the crime scene. He carefully dipped his paw on the blood, and sniffed it. Instantly, he breathed a sigh of relief. This wasn't blood! It was raspberry juice! From the berry bushes besides him! He stared giggling for having such an active imagination. Oh, and the scream? Fizz knows foxes can make creepy sounds like that. He had alarmed himself for nothing!

name:
Lyall

short story under 800 words:

A Race to Nowhere

The shimmering starlight sparked upon the illustrious fur of the jay blue dragon. His eyes were bright with a elvish cheekiness only associated with a child's mischief. He swung his fine head to watch a solitary snowflake twirl and land softly upon his satin back. He giggled in a high pitched and immature tone, his eyes twinkling with delight. Sitting on his haunches he whistled, three short sharp notes, his ears pricked for something. There, not two feet from him, settled a bird, its vivid feathers mimicking his own coloring, its subtle greens and brilliant blues royal in the snowy weather.
Smiling, the dragon approached the bird, bowing playfully "Hey Emmet" he chuckled, extending a furry paw to the little bird. The dragon's name was Lyall, his friend, a bird, named Emmet with sapphire and spring green plumage.
The bird said nothing to Lyall, he never did, a bird after all is of few words at all. Instead he hopped to Lyall's outstretched paw, his beady eyes filled with an inky excitement. "Its snowing Em' " Lyall said enthusiastically, bouncing slightly, careful to keep Emmet balanced upon his paw. The little bird fluttered to his shoulder where Lyall turned his head to look at him. "Its snowing" he repeated, a grin alighting his features "Lets play" he sung, his voice pleading to run and play. Emmet cocked his small head and chirruped, his singsong voice thrilled. Shuffling upon the shifting muscles in Lyall's shoulder, Emmet took to the air beside Lyall and hovered, occasionally moving from side to side.
The young dragon looked ecstatic, his perfect features, springy with youth howled with mirth "Race you?" he asked, starting a few steps to show his running implications. Without waiting for a move or even a breath from his companion Lyall shot off, his long tail streaming behind him. Where he ran, he knew not, he just ran, feeling the freedom of one who is in winter. Snow swirled around him, a perfect shower of sparkling, diamond flakes. Emmet, the willing soul of a bird did his best to keep up, always showing up in reassurance when Lyall looked back.
Eventually the two stopped, Lyall dropping to his belly with a content exhaustion, rolling on his back and swatting lightly at the air, playing at stopping the bird from landing. He stopped and let Emmet settle on his lightly moving belly, watching as his tum rose and fell with his breath. "Fun huh?" he asked. He, as to be expected, got no reply.
The two lay, watching the sky hurl diamond chips from its fluffy clouds and enjoyed the soft, cold feeling that the wintery breeze gave them. Slowly, Lyall began to close his eyes, out of a playful tiredness, that of a child come back from a day of sports and games. And, as the snowy clouds cleared to reveal the mid afternoon sunshine, fell asleep, his gentle snores filling the countryside field where he lay. Watching over him and never leaving him, Emmet, the small bird, the unlikely friend sat, his spectacular feathers ruffled against the cold he felt.

Enthused, catalyst, waffles, loud, delighted.

short story under 800 words:
I was five, when I went on my first holiday. I've lived in Florida my entire life, ant going away was a rare occurrence. That year had been great for my family, my Dad got a new job, my mum got a pay rise and we moved to a bigger house, but my parents had always wanted to go abroad as much as me, so they had been saving up for years to afford a holiday for the three of us. After much deliberation, it was decided we would go to Mexico! I was obviously thrilled at the thought of going anywhere abroad so Mexico was fabulous. But there was reason behind my family choosing to go there. Firstly, it was where my Dad had been born and he wanted to see his old town and secondly, because my Mum said that my markings, were so similar to one of the bird's there. I begged her to tell me which bird, but she refused, saying it was a surprise. I am known to be very impatient, so it was almost impossible for me not to get super excited in the next couple of weeks, because Mexico was only a few days away! When we finally arrived, I stepped out into the heat and felt at home, it was weird actually, being in an entirely new country, for the first time. I didn't expect it to feel so homely, but I was soon to find out why!

It was about four days into our holiday, we were staying a resort, with the pool and everything. I had got bored of the pool, so decided to explore the gardens. It was stuffed full of all these tropical plants. I took a few photos, before sitting on a bench to check out my shots! It wasn't long before I spotted a dash of blue in amongst the green. I looked up to where the shot was based, and grinned. It was a green Jay, the bird my mother said I was based off! I cautiously edged closer, but me being so impatient, I was too fast and the bird was sent soaring. I quickly took a few photo's, they weren't the best quality, but I was proud. I'd finally seen a green jay!

The rest of the holiday was dull compared to those few moments, but I enjoyed it all the same. When I was time to go home, I was about to step out of the hotel door, when I became aware of a chirping noise, and I turned quickly, and there was the same green jay! I waved to it and it let out a trill song. My mother called, "Fendri? Come on!" I grinned at the little jay before running out after my mother. The best holiday ever!
five words to describe him:
Mad, funny, impatient, unusual and crazy!
(Fun bonus! 8D) Any suggestions for new JBD designs?
I think the adopts would look great with some more purple, black and grey style JBD's, with floaty patterns, perhaps those colours, with that of tropical fish would look really good? Perhaps also some white and different coloured JBD's would look effective in bold, bright patterns. My favourite combination of colours are a light blue, dark blue and white and then hot pink, neon green and white, and the same again but replacing the green with sky blue, I would love to see some of those coming out. Unusual designs and and different horns are always a good one, I can imagine a sheep JBD being very popular! ]

And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah, you bleed just to know you're alive

I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am

Do you know me?

name: Elvis Watercolour | Often known as Wassie
short story under 800 words:
Why do leaves fall off trees in the autumn? Why does the wind blow? Why do birds fly south? These questions were the ones that a young Jellybean Dragon use to ask me often, he's gone now, following the birds, sailing the seas and trekking across deserts. This baby bean has been everywhere, all because he met her. She left, but he still is desperate to find her, wherever she has gone, wherever she may be.

Ever since Wassie was born, he was fascinated by the wanders of the world, the ocean, the sky, the land, he asked questions on it all. He was especially fond of birds, their feathers, their beaks and the way the wind lifts them. He would ask every year, 'Why are the birds leaving? Why can't they stay? I want them to stay.' They were everything to Wassie, he hated the idea of them leaving to head south. Why? Why did they leave him?

When Wassie was 8 years old, he found a injured bird, an amazing bird, of amazing colours. She stayed and perched in his room, her wing was healing slowly but surely. He and the bird were best of friends and it didn't take him long to realise that they looked like one another, their colouration and markings were similar in several aspects, he couldn't lose his friend.

But soon Wassie's friend was healed, she was ready leave, ready to head south for the coming winter. He did everything in his power to get her to stay. Why? Why must she leave? Why did she head south like the other birds? This was the day that little Wassie decided to say goodbye to his Jam and hello to the world of traveling. He tracked her, but soon she was lost, high in the clouds, hidden in mist, he knew he would find her, one way or another. But it was hard, days became weeks and weeks became months, soon enough those months became years.

But still, little Wassie hasn't returned, two years we have waited for out wanderer to come home, but still no sign of the fellow. Maybe we should give up on waiting, but no, we won't, we will wait for the fighter to come back. Back to his home.

What happened to him? Why has he not returned like the other birds? When will he be back? Who will he bring with him? These are the questions that are often asked around the Jam, he is the little fighter that we all miss.

-----------

I sent a letter home, I don't think it got to them though. I shall be back soon, atleast I hope I will. I found Birdie, she's with me now. I wonder if they'll be proud of me, what I have become over the past two years. The humans are supportive, especially this one human female, she will sit and talk to me until I fall asleep at night. She wrote an extra copy of my letter for me, so that if my family do not receive the letter, I have a spare. Sadly we do not have spare hearts, I hope I haven't broken theirs. I wish that they will be happy to see me home and safe.

My dear Jam,
This is Elvis Watercolour, or Wassie, the bean that left two year ago. I hope you still remember me, I hope you still remember I love you all. I will be home soon, me and Birdie and the humans. They have been a great help, I hope you let them stay with us. I know that it has been a long while and that people change, I hope you understand that I won't be the same curious Bean I was when I left, but I am just as fun and curious. Well, that's what the humans say anyway.
I have to stop writing now, I will send another letter soon if I find more paper.
Love, Wassie xxx

Now we know why leaves change in the Autumn, and why the birds fly South for Winter.

short story under 800 words: It was a warm August night. Luigi sat on the porch in the dim light reading a book on birds. A bird that looked just like Luigi landed on his shoulder. He gasped, "It looks just like me!"
He ran off to show Rio, the bean who took care of him. "Look Rio! A bird that looks just like me!" Rio grinned "Yup kiddo that's a green jay. Haven't you read about it? I mean with your millions of books and all."
Luigi shook his head, "But can I keep it?" Rio shrugged, "I suppose so."
Luigi ran off outside and the green jay slipped out of his paws. It flew into the firey sunset. Luigi squeaked and almost tried to fly after the bird soon remembering he can't. He sighed and dragged himself to his book. But the green jay soon came back. It was collecting things for a nest. Luigi whispered to himself, "And to think I almost caged her..." The green jay came back and Luigi talked and talked to it, perched on his claw. But it had left by mid-september. Luigi was very dissapointed, it was his only friend. Rio had saw one of its feathers and gave it Luigi. Luigi now wears it on a string as a necklace.

The next summer the green jay came back. Luigi was so happy, bouncing up and down. It perched on his shoulder and Luigi climbed a tree. He stood on a branch and was about to jump and fly when Rio's voice broke through the perfect moment. "Kid! Are you trying to get yourself killed?" It was a pitch black outside.
Luigi was so confused, "Huh...wa?" Rio shook his head and picked Luigi up. "What were you doing? In a tree about to jump out? At 4 in the morning?"
"I guess I was sleepwalking..." Luigi sighed, " I had a great dream about the green jay...I was going to fly."
Rio smiled, "yeah yeah. Just go back to sleep and no more flying."

Rio is owned by me
