name:
Tad
I chose this name for a few reasons. First off, it's short, I don't need to waste my breath, or anyone else's breath, saying it. I think this is important for me, because I rarely see a character with a simple monosyllabic name, and I don't yet have a character with a monosyllabic name. Also, strangely enough, it reminds me of the purple on her. I have a tendency to assign names colour, and even when I first came up with this name, that purple was the colour I assigned. Tad is very quick an easy to say, which brings a bit of her personality out. It's fast, and flashy- Tad doesn't like long drawn out stuff, and she like things to be spontaneous. In the English dictionary, tad means a little, small amount- Tad doesn't bite off more than she can chew, but goes a little at a time.

what does this bean remind you of?:
Actually, she reminds me of a couple of things:
1. Shin pads- the white markings on her legs, with the little peachy touches, remind me of shin pads that one would wear to protect their shins whilst playing hockey.
2. Gears- Especially gears, this is what she reminds me of the most. The colour spikes that jut out of the original colour into the next look like the teeth of a gear, and if they were aligned a bit more, they would fit into each other quite nicely.
3. Silences' fingers- As in, the silence from Doctor Who. This is purely because of the three peachy spikes on her tail. The fact that there is only three visible, and that they are roughly the colour of Silences' skin just makes me remember a certain scene.
4. Poison dart frogs- Just the bright purple in the middle of more conservative colours, as well as the spot on her eye, and the stripe underneath it. The white encircled by tan reminds me of a spot one would find on a dart frog, and so does the very top of her back.
5. The duckbill dinosaur- The way the top of her snout is an orange, and the bottom is tan, typically, duckbill dinosaurs are portrayed with having a vibrant colour on the top of their snout, and it's less flashy on the bottom. Her head changes to a darker purple, and farther down her back the purple dips back, to make way for some tan- This gives the impression of a crest of colour, duckbilled dinosaurs have big ridges on to of their heads.
