First piece;

My first piece is a chibi humanoid of Butterbean. I had been watching Sgt. Frog, so my chibi style is lightly based off the art style used in the anime. Just the legs, arms, and face shape though, everything else is purely my style. For this, I kept her collar, slightly covering her mouth due to the collar being so big. She's wearing a grey, fleece, long sleeve. A pink heart shirt. And a pair of pajama jeans. She's likes to be comfortable if it's not obvious.

Second piece;

This piece. This piece just flew out of me. I listened to the song "I'm Coming Home" by Diddy. This just gave me an amazing back story idea for her to fit into my JBDs' histories. I'll sum it up real quick so far. Basically, Butterbean knew Melon Fizz when she was just a baby, when Melon first started walking around outside her mother's pouch. Butterbean made a few mistakes in this time, her only friend at the time being Melon Fizz. She left after loosing the trust of Melon Fizz's parents. Melon was four at the time, she's now sixteen and Butterbean has just returned from a long trip of thinking about her mistakes. All Butter thought about the whole twelve years was how much her old friends and family missed her. That's basically it. I dunno, that's what I got from an amazing song.

Third piece;

A reference. I had originally planned to use these lines to revamp some of my old characters from 2009, 2010, and 2011, but I thought about it for two to three hours, and finally decided to put Butterbean in them. Once I finished, I felt as if I melted. She just looked so adorable in them. If I win Butterbean, I plan on using this as her official reference, and putting all her basic information there.

Fourth piece;

Just a midnight doodle. Looking at it in the morning, I liked it and decided to use it. The shading I think took about twenty minutes, and the sketch/lines took about twenty as well. There was a lot of smudging and erasing happening with this. I also used my new, expensive pen to line it. I was gonna color, but, too lazy.

Fifth piece;

My last piece, I went all out. It's lineless, gave it a new shading technique I had never used before, and did a shot of her back. I honestly think this is the best out of all of them, I'm super proud of it.

Eeh good luck, I'd try if I could change her name to maybe Butterbean in another langauge or something and remove the collar, but her design and color pallet is lovely! Good luck to the contestants c:

As you have said, the name has to be kept as Butterbean. I put this section here because of how much I like that as a name. It suits her.
