Jay's Flight, but he likes to be called Jay, JJ, or Mercury for short!
Jay wrote:Yes, but I tend tolove Mercury instead of Jay or JJ, so can you please call me that? I wouldn't want to be rude, so I hope you don't mind my asking....

He found the feathers in a blue jay nest when he was climbing a tree as a child. He was curious, and grabbed them. One day, he lost them.He serched everywhere, and was heartbroken! After about a year of misplacing them, a bean he had been crushing on forever(JBD #334) found them inside a tree trunk. He had stuck them in there one winter, when the squirrel family who had been living there moved out because it was getting to crowded. EVer since then, he's worn the feathers, and resists taking them out. He also can't think straight, or talk right when around the beautiful bean who returned his precious feathers to him. They also help him remember the eaier times he had as a child, since being an adult is so much moe stressful, with more responsibility. Even though he's modest, h doesn't like working. He keeps his feathers close to remind him about his young, easy life, and they help him know that after a hard day of working and responsibility, he will be able to go home a be care-free, as long as he gets on bed on time.
Mercury wrote:Yes, it's true. I guess you could say it's like Romeo and Juliet, but I honestly don't know if she likes me back. We've been friends ever since I can remember, and I can be very shy. I hope one day she'll understand, and I pray to the good Lord that she doesn't think I'm a freak for stutteringwhen we talk!

Image
Mercury is very kind, and has extremely polite manners(As you may have noticed). Although he may seem boring and overly-modest at first, he is very fun-loving! He cares for his feathers like a baby bean, but if he had a child of his own, he would put family first, feather second. He loves playing games, and is a riddle-freak. He's also an outdoor guy, and couldn't live without the tree he calls "The Jay Tree", since that's where he found his accesories in the first place! It's in his backyard, and his favorite color is blue.
Mercury wrote:Very true, but you left out one important detail! I may be a calm and modest bean, who also love fun, but you didn't really mention I'm a family bean. I'm very social, and can feel lonely if I don't have anyone to talk to.

.:Name:.
    Ryukestu (Ryuk) (Ri-you-kes-tu)
.:What do feathers mean to him:.
When in need of wisdom, finding a blue jay's feather can signify that you are coming into a time of your life when you will understand your own power and how to wield it. Blue jay feather are hard to find but these particular feather had a huge impact on him. These feather somehow helped him find his true self and gave him a huge self confidence boost. You see, in his tribe, he was considered the runt of the littler for he had another bigger and stronger sibling. He grew up living in the shadows of his older brother. In his tribe it was tradition for a you male to go through a 'transformation' and receive their feathers. These feather mean a whole a lot to him. He finally had pride in himself and gain respect from others
Short Personality:
Before this 'transformation' he lived in the shadows of his older brother. He barely had any friends because of his shyness and lack of self esteem. The feather transformed him to be a social butterfly and now he just can't stop talking. Blue jays are known to be talkative animals so I,and many others, found this very interesting. Ryuk likes to express him opinion and stands up for what is right. Ryuk is a very determined and courageous dragon. He never denies a good dare and once it's done, he laughs it off. Sometimes he dares himself to do things because his curiosity just takes over his body. Overall, he is a very social, determined, curious, and courageous dragon.

Name:
Flies with Blue Birds (Blue for short)
What do feathers mean to him:
Feathers, to him, are a reminder of the big, open blue sky and the birds that fly so gracefully through the beautiful clouds, which is where he wishes to be... They are a reminder to him of something he cannot have, but wishes for... Wings
Short Personality:
Blue is very much a dreamer, he yearns to be in the sky flying with the birds and practicing aerial moves to perfection. He is also determined, wanting to find every possible way to get in the sky and fly, and will not back down from the challenge no matter how many plead and beg him to stop. When another tells him of their dreams, he is supportive and encouraging to them, helping them in every possible way. Blue is optimistic, and always sees hope in situations that should seem like there is no hope.

Name:
Skye
What do feathers mean to him:
The feathers are important to Skye because bluejays have been an important part of his life, ever since he was a little bean...He was lost, far from home and his parents, when a lone bluejay came out of the darkness and led him to his home and family. The bluejay had vanished by the time he tried to look for it again. The feathers were all that could remind him of this, and he has kept them ever since that day.
Short Personality:
Skye is a very peaceful Jellybean Dragon. He is soft-spoken but very friendly. He tends to get into trouble, mainly because he is curious. But overall he is intelligent. Skye is good at solving problems that come up.

Name: Mystic
What do feathers mean to him: When Mystic was born he only had blue marks allover his body. But then one day he lost his best friend too an eagle. You may find this weird at first, but his best friend was a unknown type of blue coloured bird. After that Mystic set out after the eagle, trying to find a reminder of his best friend, Jamie. He searched long and hard but found no trace of the murderous eagle. He then turned to the strange lady who lived in the woods, who was rumoured to know how to track anything, dead or alive. The ladies name was Mersia, who indeed could help Mystic, on one condition, he would give her part of the beautiful marks allover his body. He agreed and she told him how he could find Jamie, but now I cannot tell you this, I don't want to turn into a green monster. He did what Mersia told him and she stripped the majority of his blue markings off right then and there. But when he was about to leave, the lady told him his friend might have already died, for she could not tell the difference. This unnerved Mystic, but he set out anyway. He arrived in the middle of the woods and performed the secret ritual. He was then teleported into an eagles nest. He saw Jamie but Jamie didn't see him, it was almost as if Mystic was a ghost. No, this can't be happening Mystic thought. But it was well true, Jamie had died. Mystic went back to the living world, but in his pouch he he found 4 blue feathers. One he put on his tail, two behind his ear and he kept one in his pouch in memory of Jamie
Short Personality: Shy and he usually keeps to himself. Although he will do anything to avoid going into the woods!!

Altair
(it basically means 'bird' in Greek)

Image
I'll keep this as short as possible. All in all, feathers mean everything to him -- he'd never part with the feathers, not in a million years. When he was young, his mother passed because she was extremely ill. It's sort of common to hear this, yes, but his mother was his best friend, and the only person he ever needed. At her funeral, a blue jay landed on her casket. That usually wouldn't have meant anything, had the blue jay not been his mother's favourite bird. After the funeral, the blue jay seemed to follow Altair everywhere he went. He followed the blue jay sometimes, curious as to where he'd take him. When the sun was setting, the blue jay took Altair to his mother's grave. When his mother died, the blue jay became his best friend. Every third day at sunset, the blue jay took Altair to his mother's grave and let him pick a feather from his body. Altair usually didn't place flowers on her grave -- his mother was never fond of them. Instead, he placed feathers on her grave. When his blue jay companion died, he had a few feathers left from his friend, and stuck them in his fur to remind him not only of the blue jay, but of his mother.

Image
Altair is tranquil, quick-witted, brave, generally happy, and doesn't let a lot of things get to him. He moved on from the death of his mother and the blue jay because he knew that they wouldn't want him to spend his life being upset. Even though, he does get waves of emotion and he does get very upset over it sometimes, and it's almost like blue jay feathers help him cope with things. He's very easy-going, barely ever yells, and is very friendly to all. He's sort of predictable, naive, and quite gullible. He believes in things easily. Whether he shouldn't or not, he always has a sliver of hope left in him for everything, or everyone. For example, he still has faith in someone that's done bad deeds. He knows that no matter how evil people seem, they always have a soft side. Altair is generous, hard-working, honest, athletic, ambitious, artistic, and overall a really cheery bean. Not a lot of things can break his spirit.

Name: Kioka
What do feathers mean to him: The blue is his spirit animal, therefore he carries around feathers of the bird because he believes they will protect, chase off evil spirits and bring good luck
Short Personality: he's very picky of his feathers, NOBODY else can touch them. Otherwise he is very sweet and outgoing. He loves his tribal markings so much that if he sees more tribal markings on another jbd, he gets jealous. He hates bird hunters

Name:

Vis

In Latin Vis means vigour, energy, or power.

What do feathers mean to him:

He got the feathers from a monk on the top of a mountain that he climbed, because of this they mean to him determination, fearlessness and strength.

Short Personality:

He's fearless when he needs to help his friends. Strong when he faces things he doesn't necessarily want to do. Shy when people compliment him, as he doesn't have very much pride in what he does. Determined in what he wants to do. Brave when he really needs to be, although in the times he's not so brave he remembers what he did to get the feathers he wears so proudly around.

Name:
Keni
What do feathers mean to him:
You know when you're little, and you have that one classmate that you can't stop thinking about- those "kid crushes"? We all had them, weather they were your best friend or someone you barely knew. To Keni, that was Amber. She was a beautiful Jellybean Dragon, who always wore her lucky feather necklace. This girl pretty much had an obsession with feathers, and Keni hatched up an idea. Maybe if he wore feathers, too, he'd get the girl. It may have never happened, but after so long of wearing them, they just became what he wore every day.
Short Personality:
Keni's the kind of guy that's quiet and shy until you get to know him- Then his crazy, overly talkative side comes out. He tries to be nice most of the time, but he can be pretty opinionated when you try to argue his beliefs. He has his OCD moments, too, and things must be done with order at all times. Overall, he's generally very calm and orderly.

This boy is so handsome Hiccup.. ;-; <333
