The story behind his tattoos:Living with a wizard wasn't so bad, Glaedr thought, reminiscing of the good times him and the old wizard had together, I mean, at least he gave me an way to remember him. Glaedr looked at his shoulder, were the black tattoo sat complimenting, he thought, his sunshine fur. He couldn't help but think of the day the old wizard had given it to him:
It was a rainy day so Glaedr couldn't go outside like he usually did. “Glaaaaaedrrrrrr!!! Come here!” the old wizard called. Glaedr sighed and wondered what the old wizard wanted. He, unhurriedly, plodded towards the old wizard's study. As usual there were books, papers, scrolls, beakers, and a variety of other things scattered around the room. Glaedr looked at the old wizard questioningly, since he had ruined a perfectly good nap by the fire. The wizard held up a scroll with and ancient sun symbol that Glaedr had taken a particular interest in some time ago. “You said you liked it, right?” Glaedr nodded. “Well I was able to make a potion that will tattoo it on your left shoulder! What do you think?!” excitement spewing with every word. Glaedr just looked at him and shrug his shoulders. “Well, would you like to try it? If you don't like it I'll be able to reverse the effects. So how 'bout it?” Glaedr agreed reluctantly and lapped up the potion. He felt his shoulder begin to tingle and it started to shimmer. Then, dark black lines began to appear. Glaedr was so surprised, the lines looked exactly like ancient sun symbol on the scroll and on top of that the old wizard hadn’t messed up the potion, like he usually does. Glaedr went over to the wizard in his chair and rested his paw on his knee as a thank you. “Well, you are very welcome! Now you are truly from the sun!” said the old wizard, beaming.
Glaedr could still remember the old wizard sitting on that chair in his study. Now the old wizard was dead. I will never forget him, Glaedr thought, ever. Glaedr looked back at the old wizards little cottage, he couldn't stay there. But he would be back one day.
