I would name her Millenia, because it represents years of power and dedication, and ancient magic.

To read minds and have psychic abilities (Purple gem). This power is associated with spirits, light, and energy, which I think represents her perfectly with her markings and fur color.



For 2013, I want to make more new friends at my new high school, and to work harder at school. I've kinda been slacking a little lately, and I really want to make it into a good college for my dream career, to be an artist. <3.

Power: Black~ Destruction and strength.
→ Why?: Black jewels on JMDs are often associated with power and destruction, while colored gems are symbolic of variety. Seeing as Renee is meant to be a New Year's celebration JMD and her gem's base color is associated with destruction and power, I decided that her power would be based on destruction and power, kind of like the way that the old year is destroyed and the new year is brought in with power, strength, and hope.
New Year's Resolution(s): I would like to study more in the next two months for my ACTs (American College Tests) so that I can hopefully get a qualifying score to start a PSEO (post college) program to get some college courses out of the way. I'd also like to spend more time developing my characters and writing. I don't seem to give enough personality and art attention to them, even though I'm online very frequently. Lastly, I'm going to get over my fear of talking to people/taking command of people I don't really know so that I can get a job this summer.
→ Why?: It's really important to me to get a jump-start on education, and I find my main characters very comforting and personal. I used to want to be a writer. B) I also really need a job as soon as I'm eligible, but I'm really scared. ;v;

I would name her Tetris

Even though she acts like a boy, she's 100% female.

Her Jewel color would be yellow, because she loves fireworks on New Years eve. When she grows up, she wants to make fireworks for others to enjoy, as well.

Her New Years' Resolution is to make the world a better place. The shooting on 12/14/12 really shook her, and she wants the families in Newtown, to have a better year. They had to spend Christmas and New Years, without their angels. She plans to go down, and help those in need, working with the Red Cross, hopefully. What better to make someone elses day shine, along with yours?
