One day on Christmas Eve, Peppermint was helping her mom with the Christmas decorations and she fell into a bucket of ribbons. When she came out, she was tangled with them on her all over. While un-knotting them, she tioed some and they became into bows. Yes, this story is very ture. She kept them on since then.

Name: Brandie
Brandie is an American female's name meaning "sweet nectar." I wanted to choose a name for this girl that was related to sweets and sugar, but I also really wanted to choose a name that was far from the generic Sugar Cookie, Ribbons, Frosting, Sprinkles, etc. Brandie may not exactly be a "cookie" name, but I found it to be unique and quite fitting. ^^

Why the Ribbons?: Traditionally strings (or ribbons) were tied around people's fingers when they had something that they needed to remember. Brandie, likewise, has a ribbon for each thing that really matters to her. ^^

• Name ;; Clara (clah-ra), is of Italian origin meaning clear and bright. I chose this name because it seemed to fit her so well both visually and mentally. Her soft suttle colors with colorful sprinkles and bright red ribbons, her name needed to be feminine, simple, and elegant. Clara is also the name of a character in The Nutcracker. She has no nicknames, she feels her name is short enough already and perfectly fine as is. Besides she definitely wouldn't want to be called... Cla or something like that....

• Gender ;; Well, that's a perfectly ridiculous question. Could you honestly look at this Jewley and think of a male? From her nose to her tail she's one hundred percent feminine. Even if she were a gender optional (I don't see how that'd be possible) I'd still see her as a sweet little girl. Sugar and spice and everything nice.

• Personality ;; Clara can be a bit of a perfectionist at times, but she doesn't go over board with all the organization and knows that the world has it's flaws. Mostly you could just say that she isn't a messy dragon. She enjoys using large words and has a huge vocabulary fro all the reading she does. Clara is a rather competitive dragon who does not enjoy losing at all, it's basically unheard of and she won't go down without a fight; that's for certain. Though she is not a bad sport.

• Why the ribbons ;; Ribbons are just that one thing that she's attracted to. For some it's bells, others keys, and for her it's ribbons. Say you like doilies and you take them home with you whenever you see them at restaurants; that is what Clara does with ribbons when she happens upon them. Though she doesn't take every ribbon, and there are only a few that she likes enough to wear around on a regular basis. She doesn't accept the ones made of plastic, often tied onto birthday gifts that are more meant to be used once and thrown away. No. Clara takes the ones that she knows won't fall apart within ten minutes of them being in her possession, the ones that aren't 'cheap'. Most of the time she only takes the longer ones that are red on account of it being her favourite colour. Anyways, mainly she wears her ribbons because she likes the way they look and she can fiddle with them when she gets bored they can even come in handy sometimes.
