Which color(s) is she not able to see;;
Green

How does she deal with her vision defect?;;
She actually appreciates it. Green has become her favorite color because of this. She loves to imagine what the color looks like, and ends up blending many colors to see many results. She'll be experimenting in her spare time. This allows her to use her imagination. She dreams of one day being able to finally see this one color.

Which color(s) is she not able to see;;
She sees the world in shades of black, white and grey.
She can't see any colours other than that, sadly.

How does she deal with her vision defect?;;
She sings.
Well since the world is so dark and boring to her singing makes it easier to cope.
Simple.
She doesn't really mind her defect, it's part of her now.

Raven-feather (or R-F)
Image
Female
Image
Only reds and blues, but she really doesn't care about it (or so she says)
R-F: I don't mind! Why do you think that I really do underneath?! *looks around hoping no one notices that she does mind*
We know you do mind, but you want to act strong so you pretend you don't. Not to worry, I won't tell your friends.
R-F: thankyou
Image
Through art. She loves to draw, and uses her necklace as a guide. When she wants to use red or blue, she looks at the rainbow it makes, and chooses the colour pencil that looks most like the colour that she can see where red or blue should be. She does the same for purple too. At night, she sometimes cries herself to sleep because she wishes that she could see the colours, and dreams them, like the second picture below.
Image
Image
This came out so much better than I expected! It's of Raven-feather crying because she thinks she's not good enough, while her tears are as rainbow as the pendant she wears.
Image
I was trying to figure out how to make this transparent when I was kicked off the laptop. While R-F may not be able to see blues and reds, it doesn't mean she can't dream them. This is one of her many dreams in which she is a plain white colour, and her pendant lights up her fur with blue and red. She lies on a red and blue cloud and enjoys the two colours while she can.
I hope you like the form, because I sure do!

Res.
My friend and I will be sharing a different account on the 223rd of November. But I will still be using this count for a while to transfer everything to somewhere I can still get it, and use, my art.

I really want to make a fresh start, and this account will be deleted at some point. It may be delayed, though,If I havent got everything moved and sorted out by november. The longest I will keep this account alive is until June next year. A lot of time, I know, But I've done a lot of things in my time on CS. I won't respond to PMs much, unless I want to give you my new account username.

Hestia

Image
Female

Image
Hestia has monochromacy, which is also known as 'total colour blindness'. She cannot see any colours at all; basically like constantly viewing a black and white television, many shades of grey, white and black.

Image
Hestia doesn't deal with her 'defect' in a bad or difficult way; she goes about her life as normally as she can, acting as though she is not colorblind. Some everyday things can be a bit difficult for her, like pedestrian crossing lights or determining if particular foods are ripe or bad. She's become more vigilant than other beans because of her colourblindness, and she uses her other senses a lot more because of it.
She doesn't cheat herself and think that there are no colours in the world--she knows there are so many amazing and different colours out there-- she just doesn't let it bother her when others talk about the colours of different things. Her philosophy is: Why should coir determine if I am different or strange?
She believes that the world is still beautiful, even without seeing the sky as blue and pink and orange, and the ocean as blue and green and dark. She views the world in a different way to others, and her imagination runs wild as she comes up with ideas about how the world really looks to everybody else; the bright yellow and orange of the sun, the reddy-brown of bricks, the purple hues of flowers.
She doesn't mind at all, really, that she cannot see colour; well, not that she would admit. She puts on a brave face whenever somebody asks her about what it feels like being colourblind. Everybody is unique, and being colourblind is one of the ways that makes Hestia a bit more different to everyone else, and she accepts that. WIP

She is one georgous Jellybean Dragon ^^

Which could mean a number of things like solitary, wishes, the moon and unique.

gender;;
Female

Which color(s) is she not able to see;;
She cannot see red, yellow and green. She is only able to see blue, purple and pink
Red appears pink to her, green is a little blue-ish and all other colours appear grey

How does she deal with her vision defect?;;
She was really young when she was first found out that she was colour blind. It made her kind of upset that there are other colours out there that she can never see and it was even more upsetting to think that everyone else can see these colours and she can't. She felt it was unfair, she felt left out and she couldn't even began to imagine what these other colours would look like. As she got older she got used to it and more mature. She found that she was becoming ok with her vision defect. It doesn't bother her too much anymore that she doesn't know what red, yellow or green look like. She has never seen them before, why miss something she has never known? She doesn't even know if she would like those colours but she still has moments where curiosity overwhelms her and she'd do anything to know what all the colours where like.

Her colour blindness doesn't affect her daily life too much now. Mona doesn't make it obvious that she can't see some colours. Being colour blind her whole life, she learned from young how to do simple things that involve distinguishing colours. Most treat her like she was just any other Jellybean dragon. She doesn't feel very comfortable with that because she sees herself as different from everyone else but at the same time she doesn't want to be treated as a freak or get special attention. Eventhough she doesn't mind not knowing what some colours look like, she still can't help but feel different. This makes her feel uncomfortable and awkward around others. She finds it difficult to make friends as she doesn't connected to most and feels like nobody really understands what it's like. It's not the easiest life but she has learned to manage.

    She can see colors, but only a few. When you show her diffrent colors of green (X X X X X) they look all the same to her. She is unable to see bright colors (X X X X).

How does she deal with her vision defect?;;
    She can manage herself like she can see just any color. Only when she sees flowers, she wishes she can see all the lovely colors and not just some simple looking flowers. But overall, she can deal with her vision defect very well. Her necklace helps her to cheer up again when she is sad about not able to see the colors. It spreads nice colors around her, and she can see most of them. That's why she always wears it.
