Equid's name:Charity
Height: 14 hh
Age:4
Gender: Mare
Poem:
Over the ocean,
Away from prying eyes,
In a sweet, lush meadow,
Charity lies.
Far from the hunters,
Her golden hope renewed;
Away from hard eyes,
With faces cold and crude.
Over the ocean,
Away from prying eyes,
In a sweet, lush meadow,
Charity lies.
Thanks for the chance, she is the most beautiful equid I have ever seen! (And I think thats the best poem I have ever written!!)

Equid's name: Kentucky (obviously after the state in the US.)
Height: 14 hh
Age: 9 years
Gender: Mare
Poem:
I've always wanted
to travel the seas
with someone like you
won't you come with me, please?
We could sail a ship
or ride on a train
or play on the beach
my heart will rid of its pain.
Nothing can stop
the beat of my heart
when I'm around you
I wish this moment could never part.
I've always wanted
to travel the seas
won't you fulfill my dream
don't make me drop to my knees
and
plead.

Equid's name: Calypso (if name is already taken let me know)
Height: 14 hh
Age: 4 yrs
Gender: Mare
Poem:
She tosses and turns as she tries to sleep,
When a pile of snow falls on her in a heap.
She stands and shakes
and notices that some of the flakes
had stuck to her and were aglow.
Poor poor Calypso,
She tried to get them off with all her might,
but in the right kind of light,
she realized her new markings were special....
They were a sign to young Calypso
that it was time to grow,
And show England's herd
That she could spread her wings like a bird
for it was time for her go and find her own place in this world.
She was once plain,
But now she could be the new reign,
for she was now America.
Someone kindly notified me that the name Calypso was already taken. Since my poem works with that name, I will keep it like that for now if I may, and *if* I win her I will then choose another name for her

Thank you!

Repeated names are allowed amongst the equids XP. And yeah, don't worry too much about names to the point of editing your post, since this is not allowed, you can change it if you win her.

The lone wanderer. So tired, so miserable.
All but a mere shadow of an once vibrant soul.
Cursed by fate, burdened by sorrow.
Sentenced to a life of nothing but loneliness...
It looks like not everyone deserves a happy ending, after all.

Equid's name: Uranium
Height: 14 hh
Age: 4
Gender: Mare
Poem:
Uranium, oh so beautiful
But so very insidious
Her power is indisputable
She lives wild and free, storming the lands
it is said when she runs by, only a flash of silver will be seen
through adventure, she follows no commands
Because she has ridden on many roads treacherous
She knows the terrains line the tip of her tail
She has fought and survived against the most Dangerous
Uranium has been atop the Highest mountains
and beheld the greatest deepest seas
She has been greeted, and met Thousands
However, though she has had it all,
she is still but a single mare,
She can remember every bit and recall
A distant time, with her mother and father,
her a mere foal, the simplicity of the life she had
She felt the love, even after
So now she fights and storms,
on a new quest, the most important yet
To change her fate, to change the terms.
She runs with the wind, to lands near and far
to find a herd, that she can be one with
And to retire, to be free from this War.

Equid's name: Blue Spruce, named after my home state's tree. I live in Colorado, btw.
Height: 14 hh
Age: 9 years old
Gender: Mare
Poem:
In the Rocky Mountains, stands a Equid, strong and tall,
She'll gallop through the Blue Spruce forests, from Winter to fall,
Climbing the peaks,
With the Bighorned sheep,
Swimming with the Cutthroat Trout.
She'll gallop where Hairstreak Butterflies flutter about,
She'll be seen with the Western Painted Turtles under the sun,
She'll race the Lark Buntings, having fun,
She'll gallop through fields of Columbines and Blue Grama Grass,
And soon enough, when the day is done,
After her day, filled with fun,
She'll go to where the Stegosauruses roamed,
On her way back to her Yule Marble home.
Everyday, it's getting closer...

Equid's name: Timeless Beauty Clouds of Grey (aka Cloud)
Height: 14 hh
Age: 4.5 years
Gender: Mare
Poem:
Tick,
tock,
tick
My life goes by, hand in hand with the time.
I say let go,
But they can't hear me so
I guess I must hope for time to freeze.
Tock,
tick,
tock
Says the clock and smirks so slyly at my life
I
know
right?
Says my life and I watch it fade away,
As long as I now stay.
A second to say goodbye,
As the time again flie by.. And away..
"Precisely"

Poem:
Too old for keeping,
Said the man.
Too slow for racing,
Said the boy.
Too dull for show,
Said the woman.
The old man smiles at their words.
There is still fire in her bones.
With age comes wisdom, don't you know?
Her heart races tracks no one knows.
And too dull?
America is on her shoulders,
Color aplenty I would say.
Pride and honor fills her veins.
The colors of Rio,
The heartiness of Mexico,
The pride of the States,
And the raging river around.
Sit back and think,
Says the old man.
Ain't she different now?
