A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

You guys all did so so well, it was really hard for Masq and I to judge or to pick runner ups. xD We had to judge like really in depth to find the winners.

This girl is a special bean... she is color blind! She is a punky little thing with a prism necklace that gleams rainbows, but of course, she is not aware of some of the colors, if not all of them. She is YFS type A - "The JBD will not develop horns once it reaches adulthood."

Ambrosia was born with Blue Cone Monochromacy, an impossibly rare form of color blindness that only occurs in about 1 in 10 billion females (as it is transmitted through the X chromosome). She can only perceive the color blue and blue variations as her green (medium wavelength cones) and red (long wavelength cones) cannot capture light.
I hope that wasn't to technical. :3

How does she deal with her vision defect?;;
She is quite misunderstood. She doesn't like telling people about her color blindness because it tends to cause what she sees as unnecessary problems. So, she pretends that there is nothing wrong with her eyes.

I cannot see in blues, greens, oranges, and most yellows. The world to me is grayscale combined with hues of red and purple. I don't mind, as it's all I've ever seen, but when I describe it most say that it sounds "emo" or "dark". Apparently the colors I am missing are supposed to be rather happy, and perhaps this is a reason why others are so hyper and excitable. I am perfectly fine being unable to see a couple of shades that I am obviously surviving without, and I wish people would shut up about "poor me" and such.

How does she deal with her vision defect?;;

Um, I believe I just stated that I am fine without a few "blues". It's not so bad as everyone keeps thinking, and they really should just stop making it worse by pretending it's the end of the world.

Ziggy was born without a M-cone, which is sensitive to medium wavelength light, so she can only see 2 different hues, those colors being ochre and blue. So the colors she is unable to see are reds, greens, purples, a very grayed-down orange, and some of her yellows (consisting mostly of yellow-greens).

How does she deal with her vision defect?;;

Ziggy has always been able to differentiate the different grey tones, but it’s still somewhat hard for her to tell the differentiate the darker grays of the grayscale. She depends highly on things that include the colors she can see clearly, for those are the only things that stand out clearly in her eyes. She is attracted to most things that have blue hues in them.

Ziggy tends to steer clear of those darker shades of gray regardless of the situation. She feels quite uncomfortable around those grays and tends to stick around the lighter shades. She is certainly afraid of the dark, but she finds comfort in laying out under a starry night sky, basking in the moon light and the gleam of all the stars. No one really knows why, but she feels comfortable seeing that inkling of light in the dark atmosphere.

As to Ziggy’s living conditions, she tends to stick to things that are colored blue. She struggles eating things that appear gray to her, so her diet consists strongly of blueberries, blue raspberries, anything with blueberries (including a great deal of blueberry byproducts), blue cotton candy, and even Blue Moon ice cream.
