Amber
This pretty girl's name is Amber, pronounced as (em-burr). I chose this name for her because her hair
tips look sort of like burning embers.

Meaning Behind The Name
From the English word amber that denotes either the gemstone, which is formed from fossil resin, or the
orange-yellow color. The word ultimately derives from Arabic. It began to be used as a given name in the
late 19th century, but it only became popular after the release of Kathleen Winsor's novel 'Forever Amber'.


Amber is more of the social type. She loves to make friends and just have a god time with them. Amber has
a different sense of the world than everyone else. Everything has beauty in her mind, but not everyone sees
it. She finds the fun in everything an makes it into an adventure. Amber would not be referred to as a
"goody-goody". Don't be mistaken, Amber does not like to show off or try to be popular and in the lead. She
finds it quite embarrassing when she accidentally does. I mean, who likes a show off?


This is how Amber started out to be fun and find the enjoyment in life.

The warmth of the heat that rose from the fire embraced the young kiamara that was nestled next to it. The
dark and gloomy clouds thundered as if they seeked revenge on the world. The rumbling awoke the the young
kiamara, who whimpered in fear. Amber, the young Kiamara, had been left alone by her father earlier that month.
She quietly padded out of the warmth of the fire and over to the creek that was most likely freezing cold. Amber
had thought about jumping into it and let the small lapping waves consume her, there was just nothing to live
for anymore.

The little light of the sun that was rising ever so slowly gave Amber the needed light that she needed to navigate.
She put out her fire and slowly moped towards the North star, wondering when her unnecessary journey would come
to an end. The last words that her father had said to her were, "Follow the North Star, my dear. You'll find what
you have been in need of". Amber had no idea what he was talking about. Since then she has been wandering, trying
to find out what in the hay he meant.

On a fall day in late October, Amber came across some squirrels who were having a little fun. They were sliding down
a slippery and very shallow water fall. She smiled at their silliness when one of them asked her if she would like to
join them. Amber just couldn't deny it. The little squirrel was just so adorable, who could deny it? Amber set down
her burlap sack and padded over to the water's edge. She dipped her tail in, just a little, and the water was surprisingly
warm. Amber jumped in and slid down the water fall. This was the most fun that she had ever had in years and Amber
finally realized that this is what her father had meant for her to find.
