A Jewel Mane Dragon is a large creature with jewls on their foreheads and tails.They eat mostly small mamals such as birds, squirels, and rabbits. The fur on their back, hind, and front legs feel like the softest of silk and is pretty short. The fur around their neck (Also know as their mane) and tail is very soft, fluffy, and long. Jewel mane Dragons mostly keep to themselves but when they find someone they like the grow very attached, loyal, and talkative. They're all slightly bigger than a mustang but some grow to be as large as a elephant. All Jewel Mane Dragons have jewels at the end of their tail and on their forehead, there's really no exception to that rule. The jewel on their tail is used as a weapon in combat and hunting, while the jewel on their forehead is used during mating season to atract females.

My last complex adopt I did didn't even have 5 entries...which made me kind of sad.
Maybe the colors didn't appeal, so I decided on natural colors this time. ^-^

Well Cal is a lot of things

Cal is very childish for a JMD of his age. He can make the smallest detail into the biggest problem by over thinking to much. He can seem very calm and relaxed about everything but deep down inside he is just trying to keep in the shouting and flailing away so he won't embarress himself in front of every one, but spend alone time with him and you'll see a flailing Cal and it's not pretty. For example, you keep him alone next to a lawnmower the when you come out here comes cal riding on it zooming past you.

Cal is very Creative and artistic. As writing and drawing are his hobbies he has already filled several notebooks filled with ideas. If you ask Cal to draw an orange, the orange would probably be blue and the background would make the orange seem like it was the most important orange in the world. Cal can turn small doodles into a piece of art. Using his imagination Cal can turn a mere sentence into a story for example; " I like pie" Cal " OHHHH that makes a very interesting story, imagine this pie factory makes this new pie that everyone craves but inside the pie lays a chemical that turns people into zombies in the matter of 1 week before they can find a cure which lies in mt. Erebus in antartica."

Cal is not afraid to show who he is no matter what they think of him. He speaks up for himself against others and for others. Cal doesn't have stage fright and is always ready to entertain the crowd.

Cal is very fun to be with and also an all around friendly&funny guy. He can cheer you up when you are down and give good advice to anyone. He is there for his friends and family if they need him and he would never let anyone down. If you are bored with nothing to do just give Cal a call and he would show up to drive away the boring.


Nothing bad happened to Cal growing-up. He lived with his mom and dad and grandpa happily together. He was happy with his childhood and had many friends. He enjoyed sitting on his grandpa's lap listening to the stories he had to tell and look at his grandpa's old stuff in the attic and especially loved the old typewriter, but when his grandpa passed away his parents threw away most of the old antique stuff or sold it at a pawn shop.All that was left was the typewriter

When I saw this JMD i just knew that I wanted him/her, this JMD has a beautiful design and 2 of my favorite colors on him(lime and silver). This a the first JMD that i really had that connection/bond with. I just love this JMD too much.

I, pilesofpugs, will FOREVER love Cal FOREVER and always be active with him ALWAYS. I will put him in RPs and make art of him and be very active on the FC. I would do ANYTHING for Cal and never give him up. he is my dream JMD and want him with all my heart. His simple markings and colors made me want him so very bad. If he is to be my very first JMD i will be VERY active with him.

"What else would I be?"

{Personality} - Demmi has always been a rather friendly JMD, she judges no one and believes everything happens for a reason. She's always there for others though she'll never accept a shoulder to cry on, and rather goes to the forest when somethings bothering her. She finds that planting saplings and re-flourishing wilting plants is a good release and always brings a sense of peace.
