Honestly, I'm not quite sure. Since we don't really have anyone keeping track of adoptions (which was one of the jobs of the archivist, who I don't believe is active anymore) we really don't have any way to tell how many everyone's adopted. xD If it's still in effect, it'd have to rely on the honor code and people's memory.
It's probably safe to say that you don't really have to worry about it too much right now. x]

Also there is no longer a 20 character limit. Just one character per code drop and so long as you can provide a good enough form for each character you apply for.

I'm pretty sure I've only adopted four by now? I was just curious. xD I've actually probably adopted 7, but I returned Fleur, Alaqua, and Mint as a recall because I was no longer supplying sufficient love. I now have Bronte, Butterfly Dreams, Pepper, and Fernaco the Brave. I was just curious. c:
