Reason for name: Mica is a mineral that is delicate and beautiful. It easily flakes away and can be broken up with little to know effort. Although most commonly gray-blue and very shiny, almost opague as well, I feel that the name Mica suits her. On the contrary, however, mica comes in a variety of colors including a rustic red-brown (orange) that the she displays. The speckles on her body look almost like she's being blotted out; the solid color, or metophoric layer, is being broken up. Mica is found most everywhere and I get a feeling that she, the LD above, is a very adaptable and likable dragon: she too can be found most everywhere. The colors and markings of this Lion Dragon remind me a lot of lilies (especially tiger lilies and stargazer lilies), so I thought something flower related would be fitting for her. I went with a Polynesian/Hawaiian name as she kind of has a tropical flower look and I like the sound of the name. It's sweet and endearing sounding, which I envision her being. ^^

Reason for name: Well, It means Peace. And I think this name fits her because she is the pure untouched image of tranquility. The Deep Magenta shade of her eyes, seem to pull you into her. The slow cascade of the light sandy brown to the Pinkish Chestnut at the tips of her fur, are so subtle and warm. I love this Lion Dragon! She is beautiful.
