'The' Paradox

He claims that this is his title, and he refuses to be adressed only as "Paradox" if you don't know him well.
Those who do know him usually call him "Paradox, Pare, Dox, or Doxy".

Excuse me? NO. LOLNOJUSTNO. Forgive me, but EVERYONE must call me The Paradox.
Or maybe Sir Paradox? NOWAIT. LORD PARADOX.
Yep, I like the sound of it already. >B)

Though he is flashy and amazing, Paradox finds it hard to find things he likes to wear all the time.
Many times a week he'll find things he thinks he will like and will look good on him, but in less then a few days whatever he thought he liked will end up in in the "shame corner". He gets very tired of things easily, yet refuses to let anyone else have what he has been hoarding.

The things he always wears:

• His favorite black and white striped tie.
  He has owned this ever since he was hatched. He doesn't remember ever being without it, even when it was too big for him to wear around his neck. (He normally just dragged it around in his mouth for awhile, which explains why it looks a bit faded and torn up.)
  It's like a child's 'blankie' to him, ya know?
• Black and white (fake) clip on earrings.
  He found them at a flea market and stole them from the counter when he was...probably 12? He liked the way they matched his tie. He keeps the black on on his left ear, and the white one on his right ear.
• One black fingerless glove. (Made out of leather.)
  When Paradox was little, he used to have two of the gloves. They were both a darkish gray, and he loved them like he loved his tie. (Okay, maybe not as much.) Because he was a runt when he was a child, he was bullied constantly. That glove he had was stolen from one of his antagonizer. He still keeps the other one just in case he finds his missing glove, and so he can maul the guy who picked on him so much.
  

  You make me sound like a whimp. 8I AND WHAT THE HECK MAN? >8U STOP CALLING ME PARADOX!
  IT'S THE PARADOX, CAN'T YOU READ?

The things he likes but only wears sometimes:

• 3D Glasses
  Oddly, the ones that look like shades; not the paper 3D kind with the red and blue lense.
• His Mismatched Socks
  He kept one blue one with orange stripes, and one purple one with yellow stripes. Their partners were thrown away by you-know-who, unfortunetly.

"How can you really live if you're too slow to do anything?" That's one of The Paradox's favorite quotes. Always on the go, always talking with thoughts racing through his mind, never slowing down for anything, slow would be a total insult to this determined dragon.
Ever since he was little, everyone could tell he wanted to be the center of attention. He himself even knew this. The Paradox would always go around bugging his older friends for just a moment for them to bask in his glory.
The Paradox has a bi-polar disorder. He can be all calm one minute, to lashing and snapping at anyone near him. Often times, his disorder will cause him to be very depressed and not want to speak to anyone.
He is unbelievably blunt. He hates it when others sugercoat things to others. If one asks for his opinion, he gives it to them straight'; he doesn't want to just lie to those he cares about. He wants them to be able to do their best, and they won't get anywhere if someone doesn't speak the truth to them. That part of himself he is actually proud of because when he gives out compliments, they'll know he isn't lieing.
Although he doesn't lie to his friends about his opinion on things, he will lie about almost everything else.
"Did you eat the whole bag of chips?"
"No!"
"Did you break that vase over there?"
"Of course not!"
You know, things like that.
This JBD also has an amazing amount of energy stored in him. He can almost never sit still; you'll always twitching a limb or thumping his tail while waiting to be able to move.
He can also be quite sarcastic, stubborn, and frankly - a bit rude.

Things The Paradox Likes:
Gummy Worms
This is his ultimate favorite food. Regardless of if they're just the regular gummy kind or tart sugar coated, he'll devour them all.
Not only do they taste good; but they're bright and colorful. He also likes to bite off half of the gummyworm so it's only one color, then do it to another one of a different color and connect them.

Singing
The Paradox suprisingly has a very nice singing voice.
He won't admit it though, and is in absolutly no rush to prove it.
(You would think he'd love to show off this talent of his.)

Sleep

You don't even have to explain it, woman.

Pillows, Blankets, and Bedsheets
What evil person doesn't like to make a good pillow fort once and awhile? Not only does Paradox like how warm it is, but it also makes him feel cozy. He likes to watch movies on...I guess my laptop while eating a bag of gummyworms.

The Night
The best time to party is always at night, isn't it?
It's also nice and cool, the perfect weather to go out and do whatever the heck he pleases without worrying about the heat of day.

Hair Gel
He spikes some hairs on his head forward with it so it looks like a cool looking hair cut.

Blogging
Silly little The Paradox (Your name gives me so much pain when writing. ;A;) runs a small blog where his "fans" asks him questions and such. He enjoys talking about himself, so when he heard that is was a blog does (somewhat), he got one right away.

Fighting/Arguing
Like I said before, The Paradox was bullied many times when he was younger because he was small. That had caused him (somehow) to love to fight. Physicly or verbably, it doesn't matter to him; as long as he wins.
He absolutly despises anyone who can beat him in an argument or fight. It makes him feel like "the pathetic runt" he used to be.

Music
He can't live without it. He might as well go insane if he wasn't allowed to listen to it.
He keeps a small iPod in his pouch to listen to if he ever gets bored.

No one knows why...he just... really likes to doodle with them...

His Right Ear
He doesn't hate the ear itself, just its disability. He is deaf in that ear, and it causes a lot of problems for him.

Bright Sunny Days
If it was just a normal sunny day, it'd be fine for him. But here we're talking about those horribly hot days where the seats of your car burn or you get sunburn on your head. He hates the laggy feeling of being too hot and not able to be his normal hyper self. :c

Real Piercings
The Paradox's earrings are fake clip in ones. He can't stand the fact that some people like to punch holes in their bodies like paper and keep peices of metal in there for months at a time. ono

Wait...they get rings in other places and not JUST the ears? OAO

Getting Ill
The Paradox gets sick very easily. He may be all big and strong now, but his immune system is pretty weak.
During flu season, you'll probably see him wearing a mask over his mouth and nose in fear in getting ill.

is usually very social and fun-loving.
I thought this was fitting for The Paradox.
It also makes sense due to the fact that Gemini is the twins.

History
The Paradox was born on June 8th, 1991.
He hatched out of his egg a runt, making him smaller then the average jellybean dragon. His real name was just, "Paradox".
When he first opened his eyes, he had one blue eye and one dark pink one. Because of his odd size and weird eyes, many of the other JBDs called him "two-face". Not to mention, his horns were also mismatched, and he was deaf in his left ear.
A few months after his birth, he and his family moved away from where he was born, and away from his very good friends. He had thought he would be able to make friends easy in his new home; and boy was he wrong.
He would constantly get into fights (And loose them most of the time if the young dragon was bigger then him). He wore the tie and gloves that his father had given him to wear, and Paradox loved them.
One of the older, bigger young dragon would always make fun of him and tease him, and Paradox hated him. He'd get scuffed up really bad when things got physical. The last fight he had was one his antagonizer took one of the gloves he wore.
After he left his home, he went off into the world to see it himself, glad to get away from everything holding him back.
He learned some tricks along the way, like how he should always face to the side whenever he could, so others would only see one side of his face. It'd hurt or anger him when someone would be staring at his eyes.
He soon grew to be a cow sized jellybean dragon, with a big appetite to match. After his big growth spurt no one dared to pick on him again.

The Paradox: Because those lower then me shouldn't be able to address me as just "Paradox".

Well, I am one of those beings who beleive in opposites attract. If I were to be with someone, I'd want them to be calm, cool and collective. Maybe one of those girls who are considered a "cold beauty". Oh, and they'd have to be able to stand a moody spazz like me. B)

What is your biggest fear?

The Paradox: Being alone.

I can't tell you how many times that I have gotten in trouble in class for doodling him on my classwork.
This whole week, I have been really busy will not only school work; but family bidness that I don't need to mention. eue
Although I had so much to do, I've spent these last few days trying to draw and edit things for this form. That's how much I love him. <3
Everytime I draw him or see him, I learn something new about him and his personality or design.
The first time I saw him, I thought, "OHMYGODIMUSTHAVEHIM. ;A;". His patterns are so complicated, yet with such simple colors! I would of never thought to use such a daring combination like that! ;D; When I went to color my line art of him in (entry #1) and saw that his stripes were GRAY and not purple, I think I crapped myself a little. (No not really but I was seriously suprised.) I love the way his body is gray, but not gray, and how it's tan, but not tan. <333 NOT TO MENTION THAT SMILE-LIKE STRIPES ON HIS CHEST. <333

His eyes are what really drew me into wanting him so much, I think.
I made adoptables long ago on youtube, and I had a dog up there with blue and pink spots. I really liked the design, and I wanted her for myself, but I had given her away to one of my subscribers who closed their account I beleive. It wasn't the dog that I had wanted, but the colors. I loved the way they complimented each other so well. ;U; And it looks 1000x better on this JBD!

I also love how his personality came so easy to me. With such a bold eyes and sharp stripes, how on earth could he be shy or timid?
He looks like the type who would walk right up to you just to start a conversation, or that one friend who always goes to your house and steals your food. I actually based most of his personality on how I wish to improve mine. eue <333

I love him so much. ;u; I've been looking for my dream JBD for awhile, and I'm positive that he is it. Azucar

Azucar means "sugar" in Spanish.


Azucar wears a necklace with a Dia De Los Muertos style skull on a black leather cord. It's covered in a coating of fine white sand, giving it the glittering appearance of the sugar skulls he loves to make. It is very special to him and he never takes it off. It was given to him by a childhood friend. (Rough Sketch)

For special occasions, he also has a colorful skull mask in the same style.


Azucar is a bilingual dragon with talent in making sugar skulls. He makes hundreds of them year round to sell. On Dia De Los Muertos however, he creates dozens of small skulls to give away to young beans. Dia De Los Muertos, the day of the dead, is a special day to Azucar. When Azucar was younger, he was very good friends with another Jellybean Dragon, the same one that gave him his necklace. She was always fascinated by his sugar skulls and the holiday they came from. Within a few years however, she fell ill and passed. Though Azucar loved the day of the dead even before he was old enough to speak, it wasn't until then that he truly began to appreciate it.

Despite this, Azucar is typically a very happy bean. He likes being in good spirits and doesn't have much of a tolerance for arguments or fights. In these instances, Azucar often tries to be the peace keeper and quell each angry side. He isn't much of a fighter so he'll usually try to avoid getting into a direct conflict when ever possible.
