I may do some crit tonight, but don't hold me to that.
Biology and history exams tomorrow and I need to revise xD
I will be here
when you think you’re all alone
Seeping through the cracks
I’m the poison in your bones
My love is your disease
I won't let it set you free
Til I break you
You’ll never know what hit you
Won’t see me closing in
I’m gonna make you suffer
This hell you put me in
I’m underneath your skin
The devil within
You’ll never know what hit you
I tried to be the lover to your nightmare
Look what you made of me
Now I’m a heavy burden that you can’t bear
Look what you made of me
Look what you made of me
I’ll make you see

I'm not sure exactly how to explain, it just seems like you two were the only ones who had a chance to win 243 or something. I was actually quite proud of how my form turned out.
I'm sorry if I sound like whiner, I'm just brokenhearted and the way it seems like it was just between you two doesn't help.

Oh, I see what you mean but you can't let that get you down.
There were four forms for that kennel, so there is going to be that sort of thing, but that doesn't mean your form wasn't good or that we were the only ones with a chance. All of the forms had a chance.
So what if you didn't win this one, I'm sure you will next time if you just keep a positive attitude and keep writing c:

~ I feel it in my bones, enough to make my system blow......
I'm RADIOACTIVE ~
Username ~ 狼RunningBlaze Kennel Number ~ 289
When I was scrolling through the enormous line of characters looking for a home, I stumbled upon Aurora. At first I just passed her by, thinking I would have no chance at a Spotty design. I went back though, and after a few minutes of thinking of how I could use her, and what an amazing addition she would make to my characters, I knew I had to at least try to win her. Her design is so unique, and colorful it would really bring some light, and difference to my characters. I'm usually into more monochrome, and darker designs, but I could really use a vibrant girl like Aurora to lighten up my characters. Thanks for this chance to go for such an amazing character! Use ~ Aurora will be really special to me. Having spent a lot of time in Alaska, she will be a little daily reminder of how free that landscape is, and how beautifully dangerous it can be. I will draw her often, even if I never master her design X)
She'll get her own spot on my character thread, and art whenever I can get her some, (just look at how comfortable Nikita whom I adopted from here is ^^). We have to write a novel in English, about a Utopian society, and I'd love to include her in it <3
I'll also be using her in short stories, and just as a spotlight character to show off in my signature every once in a while, and introduce to the CAAA thread ^^
Eventually when I become less busy, I may use in her RP's, though this won't be for a long while.
Name ~ Aurora
With a new character comes a new name? Not in this case. I looked around for a better name for her for almost and hour, but never came close. Then I realized, she already had the perfect name, though I dropped the second one. Aurora seems to really fit her better than anything else, she reminds me of the Aurora Borealis and of the snowy Alaskan frontier. It just seems meant to be <3 Gender ~ FemaleBirth Place // Home ~ Alaska Species // Breed ~ Wolf // Canadian Eskimo Dog Notable Characteristics ~ Aurora's body contains a low level of controlled radiation, known as life blood. It causes her no harm, and gives her no special abilities, it only creates the unnatural pattern of purple markings found in her pelt, and causes them to give off a barely visible glow. Her father was the unfortunate victim of scientific testing, which caused him to pass this non-lethal condition to his daughter.
Even though she never met her mother, she has vivid dreams of her often that seem to foretell her future and guide her.
Themesong(s) ~ It's Time - Imagine Dragons +
Radioactive - Imagine Dragons Personality ~Aurora is very adventurous, but also guarded and timid in some instances. Even with her knowledge of how different she is, she doesn't lack for confidence. She always seems to be able to rise up to anything that presents itself, but she has a dangerous self-doubt imbedded in her mind that always seems to be tearing her apart when faced with something extreme. Aurora is always kind as well, though she is quick to judge someone by their actions, and can get snappy if someone tests her patience. Her defining quality is her undying loyalty, if you gain her respect, she would follow you into the depths of oblivion without a second thought. She won't let her companions go down alone, if they are in trouble, she won't abandon them, and would fight to the end for them. Aurora is a little commitment shy as well, even with all her confidence in herself she finds it hard to believe anyone wants to be close to her for anything other than anterior motives. Which causes her to keep others at arms length except for her closest companions. Backstory ~-Pup hood-
A light snowflake drifted down from the overcast winter sky of Alaska. It was followed at a slow pace by many others just like it, yet not. Every snowflake is different in some way, through it's structure and appearance. This particularly fluffy snowflake soon met it's demise on the moist nose of a young hybrid pup. Through coincidence or fate, this pup was just like that snowflake, so much alike others of her kind, yet so drastically different in appearance. The pup yipped with a youngsters excitement as she ambled around trying to catch snowflakes in her gaping mouth. Her father gazed at her through warm eyes, watching his beautiful child experience snow for the very first time. Though he himself was a sight that only earned him looks of pity from the humans in the nearby village, and stares from the other animals in the land. His brutally scarred features bothered him not, he had been let out of the experiments, and had found a companion who loved him for his heart, with whom he had been given the greatest gift of all. His daughter. Though the testing on him had somehow altered his genetic code, and passed some unimaginably unique fur pattern to his daughter, she seemed healthy and happy, that was all he could ask for.
Aurora was the name of that special little bundle of fur, given to her by some Indian Shaman who has stumbled upon her dying mother who was giving birth. He managed to save the pup, and named her after the beautiful light show that had appeared in the sky, Aurora. She was a lucky little pup, if she had lived anywhere but Alaska, she would have been shot as a trophy, or experimented on by curious humans. But here, here she was safe. The shaman was well known throughout Alaska, he had managed to convince the other inhabitants that she was a gift from Tabaldak, the creator. So humans everywhere regarded her as a normal sight, and almost no one ever tried to do her harm.
Aurora yawned now, completely tuckered out from her romp around the new snow. Her blue eyes shown up clear and true to her father, though her eyelids were starting to sag. Her father chuckled to himself and spoke in a voice that reminded Aurora of thunder, "Ready to go home little one?" Oliver, her father inquired. Aurora's eyes brightened slightly as she nodded, not yet old enough to speak. Oliver smiled crookedly and scooped her up onto his back, there Aurora nestled herself into his shaggy black fur, holding on so not to slip off with his slightly unbalanced footsteps. As they ventured into town, a mail plane was landing on the icy airstrip, bringing the humans their supplies, and mail from family. Aurora watched it with wide curious eyes, the busy little town was always full of interesting sights. As per their usual routine, Oliver stopped by one of the local butcher shops where right on schedule, a block of a man come out to dump what meat couldn't be used into bear-proof containers. Though he was scary to most, his hardened features lightened up when he saw Oliver and Aurora. He waved a steady hand at them and set down a medium-sized satchel of good meat on the wood next to his feet. Oliver trotted right up to him, his scraggly tail wagging as he pushed his head though the strap to secure the satchel around his body. The man smiled and ran a gentle hand through the fur on Oliver's head a few times, ending with a nice pat. He made sure to tickle Aurora to get a cute little yip out of her, and cause her to nibble at his fingers playfully. The man nodded to Oliver, "Get home safe boy, tell Sam I said hi!" as he turned and headed back into the warm of his shop. His name was Lance, he had been friends with their master since they could remember.
Oliver barked in reply and set off towards home. Home was a large log cabin in the middle of town, next to it was a sizable barn that Oliver protected for his master, Sam. Now home free, Oliver loped through the dog door that opened in response to a sensor on his collar, he was greeted by warm air and a friendly-faced Indian named Sam. Sam took the satchel from Oliver, gently picking Aurora up from his powerful back and placing her in his front jacket pocket. She loved to look around from this high vantage point, and feel the beating of Sam's heart as he walked around tending to chores. As Sam unloaded the groceries from the satchel, Oliver lapped up some fresh water and settled into his favorite chair. Which also happened to be Sam's favorite, the two would tussle at night when both of them would want to use it, it always ended up with Sam kicked back in it watching TV, with a heavy Oliver sprawled across him.
Aurora was very loved throughout the town, and Sam would have been heartbroken had she ever left. Oliver and his daughter were a part of Sam's family on their own accord, Sam never looked at Oliver with pity. He treated Oliver as a normal dog and respected him as much as Oliver did him. They had saved each other in the beginning, Sam had been reeling from the loss of his wife when he saw that all the animals that had been rescued from labs were being adopted out. He had gone to see if any fit him, when he met Oliver. He looked past the scars and broken spirit, and took Oliver home, they helped each other get better. Sam was more than welcoming when Oliver brought Aurora home. Though he unusual pelt took some getting used to. Aurora's childhood was relatively normal and happy. Tho had a run-in with a polar bear and nearly met her fate, but thanks to Oliver and Sam's quick thinking, they had fended the bear off before harm could be done. She was always more careful in nature throughout the rest of her life because of this. She was lucky, it seemed that the angels had blessed this little pup.
- Teenager -
"Come on Aurora, he won't even notice that it's missing", Porter called to Aurora from his hiding place behind a line of trash cans. Aurora shook her head and whined slightly as she glimpsed someone moving around inside of Lance's butcher shop. Porter, one of her friends had dared her to steal the bag of meat waiting to be picked up by a customer. "No, my dad will MURDER me if I steal from Lance, and I don't want to anyways", she shrugged backing away and then trotting to where Porter was seated. Porter was a treat to see, he traveled around on a cruise ship, so she only got to see him about twice a year. While he wasn't always the best influence, Porter had a heart of gold, and always had fun new games to play. Porter chuckled, "He could probably see you coming from a mile away!". Porter always liked to remind Aurora of how different Aurora's pelt was. Just then Lance came outside, and walked over to Aurora, Porter scurried away to find some dinner.
"Hey Aurora, I was just talking to the Christmas parade manager, would you like ride one of the floats?", Lance asked as he scratched her head in her favorite spot. Aurora's eyes lit up, being so unique she was known very well in Alaska, and loved to be part of social gatherings. "Yes, yes, yes!", she yipped, it was unfortunate that humans couldn't understand animals. But Lance got the idea and smiled, "Their gonna dress you up like a reindeer, and Sam 'll be Santa!", this got a chuckled out of both of them. Sam's skin color looked so funny against the white bear and metal glasses of Santa costumes. Lance looked at the darkening sky, "You better get home, you don't wanna run into another bear", he wagged a finger playfully at her as he retreated back into his shop to close for the night. Aurora barked nervously in agreement as she sped home. Now old enough to come and go as she pleased, Aurora has a sensor input into her collar to open the dog door just like her father. Speaking of which, her father met her at the door, "Lance told you about the parade I suppose?", he asked as they both ventured into the kitchen where Sam had already put some meat in their plates. After Aurora scarfed down her food, she nodded to him, her muzzle had bits of meat stuck to it. Her father chuckled, "For a girl, you are really messy", he always joked with her about this. Aurora rolled her eyes, "I was raised by two dirty men, what else did you expect?", she asked humorously. To this Oliver just smiled and retreated into the den to fight with Sam about the chair. Aurora settled into her bed for the night, her markings giving off a very, very faint glow in the darkness. In her dream state, she met her mother again. For some reason she seemed to be able to connect with her mother's spirit in dreams. Even though she had never met her mother who had died giving birth to her. Her mother always seemed to know what was coming for her, and sometimes gave her advice.
In the days that followed, leading up to the parade, the small town was crazy. Sam was always calm though, and when it came time for the parade, he tied some antlers to Aurora's head, and put a scarf around her neck. Walking through town beside Sam, his shoes left a heavy print in the snow. They had to stop every few minutes so hoards of children could come over and pet their little town reindeer. When they finally got on their float, Sam had to re-adjust her costume. She had to admit that he looks hilarious in his costume as well, and she was a little tired from all the petting. Sam helped her up onto the float, and she sat on his lap. Oliver even joined them, but he just sat at their side. Aurora was very much a part of this town, she never wanted to leave, and just wanted things to stay the same.
- Young Adulthood -
"Aurora your the lead dog, give them some guidance!", Sam shouted from his position at the back of the bob-sled. Aurora had become a fine young hybrid, strong as an ox as Sam liked to say. "You heard him! Get it together, this isn't a candy delivery! People will die without these supplies", shouted Aurora in an oddly calm but intimidating voice. Sam had taken to helping out some on some of the supply runs, though thanks so Alaska's unpredictable weather, a sled team was the most reliable form of delivery. Aurora had shown interest in being a sled dog when she was little, so Sam had placed her into training and now it was useful. Oliver sat in the basket of the sled holding the ties together, a bear had gotten into their camp last night and shredded the bindings, he was the only one strong enough to handle it. Aurora had gotten the others back in line, and it was smooth running for a while. But right at the edge of town something unimaginable happened, the ice fell away from under the back of the sled, pulling Oliver and Sam with it. Aurora let out a yelp of terror as the other dogs began sliding into the below zero waters. She was so scared for her life she couldn't think straight, the thought of Sam and Oliver being gone forever never even entered her mind. Now she was on overdrive, the adrenaline kicked in and she began trying to get out of there, to no avail. She wasn't strong enough.
But all of a sudden, she started being pulled from the front. Her head whipped around as fast as she could turn it, and he gaze was met by Oliver's, apparently he and Sam had managed to pull themselves from the wet grip of death. She started walking towards them, and soon they got the whole thing out of the water and onto save ground. Sam unhooked Aurora from her harness and pressed her to his shaking body. She was the only one that wasn't soaked to the bone with freezing water. "I'll get help, please be here when I get back!", she shouted to them, though it only sounded like barking to Sam. She raced off, stumbling every once in a while, her paws bleeding from the ice build-up between her pads. Her blue eyes were wide in fear as she ran herself out getting to town. The only place she could think to go was the butcher's. She slammed into the door, knocking the wind out of her lungs. He came out to see her lying on her side, bleeding and gasping for air. Looking around he picked her up, "Where's Sam? What happened?", he asked her, his tone becoming more shrill. She made a small yelping sound. He grabbed a blanket and fire material, and followed her back to Sam. All of the other dogs were dead, their hearts had been too weak to handle the situation. It looked like Sam was dead too, his unmoving body was curled around Oliver.
Lance, the butcher gasped "No, you have to hold on buddy, we'll get you home", he tried to keep his voice calm as he started a fire. It choked to life in the cold air, he pulled Sam and Oliver over to it, wrapping them both in the blanket. Aurora shivered, not from the cold but from fear of losing them, and at how close she had come to death.
They had both been alright, and her father has saved her many more times in her life. Aurora will never again pull a sled, but she tries new things everyday, and enjoys her life with Sam and Oliver in wild Alaska. Her whole story is not yet written, she has her whole life ahead of her to explore and enjoy. This is but a mere chapter in the novel of her life, take control of your own destiny, as Aurora will hers.

I don't suppose anyone wants to meet me on the SCAA chat and give me ideas for kennels? XD
No doubt I'll have lots of muse next week when I should be revising...
