Feather Image: Cardinal feather This feather isn't some multi-colored masterpiece; It's pretty plain. But I think that the color red is gorgeous- a color that can only be found on a red cardinal. I remember seeing these birds in the winter, in the snow. They really stand out, that gorgeous red, the only color besides white and grey. Sure, there are bluejays as well, with their blue, black and white feathers; but they don't stand out against the snow like the cardinals do.
