What are PODs?
Pomme Orchard Deer, (Pomme Deer or PODs for short) are a very beautiful and majestic species. They greatly resemble a deer, for that was the species they evolved from. Pomme Deer are herbivores. They will only eat meat if they were starving. Their appearance is very hypnotizing. A Pomme Deer's silky, long fur attracts mates. The tail also plays a big part in mating, but can be used for other things. A Pomme Deer's tail is very important. It is used to protect their babies, much like a kangaroo carries it's joey in it's pouch. It's tail is also very handy for cold nights with it's owner. They find it quite silly that humans do not have fur. These deer usually can befound frolicing in meadows, or burrowing under forest trees. They are very shy creatures, and are not usually spotted by humans, thus the very small amount living with us. Once you spot the right Pomme deer, though, the tip of it's tail glows a brilliant, bright green. You are bound forever by that very light. Pomme Deer, much like dogs, are very loyal to it's owners. They will never leave your side. They are the most loveable creatures you will ever encounter, and they all long to have their perfect humans.

P.O.D. Name: Cameo
Gender: Male
Personality: Cameo is a very ambitious P.O.D. He loves to explore. His favorite thing to do in his spare time is run around and learn new things, and make new friends. Cameo hates the colour pink. He thinks it's to girly for him. His favorite colour is green. In Winter Cameo wraps his tail around himself to keep himself warm on cold nights. During the day he stays inside, and listens to stories or plays with his brothers and sisters, or occasionally he goes out side to make a snowman or have snowball fight. Cameo should really listen to his mother though, because every time he comes back indoors his nose is red from the cold! In Spring (the perfect temperature for Cameo) Cameo loves rolling in grass. Although, maybe he's allergic to something in it because he keeps sneezing! Cameo and his brothers and sisters often play hide and seek in the long Spring grass. In summer it's too hot for Cameo. You will often find him down by a pond or lake paddling and playing, or under the big banana tree next to his house shading himself. Autumn is Cameo's favorite time of year. He loves running through shady places, crunching all the fallen leaves under his feat. All though sometimes it can get a bit chilly.
Art: (Can be picture, story, poem, etc.) My eyes opened slowly as morning light streamed through the roof of my home. I slowly rose to my feet. My mother was still asleep. Seems as though my brothers and sisters were too. "This is it. " I thought to myself. It was time to explore. Ever since my brother nearly was spotted by an evil human, my mother has forbidden us to explore anywhere past the old fence near the edge of the woods. But even my mothers words can't keep my curiosity away. I slowly padded out of our burrow. Sunlight hit me like a dagger through my eye. I blinked a few times to adjust to it. I looked around. It seemed as though I was the only one stirring. I took a deep breath of the dewy morning air. It smelt like the forest. I trotted forward in to the forest, wondering what would be on the side of that old crooked fence. Faster and faster I ran. Deeper and deeper into the forest. Logs, twigs, birds and branches whirred past me as I sped past them at what felt like lightning speed. The fence came in site. It's old nails brown and rusted. As I came closer to it, my mind started thinking up ideas of how to get past it. A little hole underneath it had already been dug. "I wonder who dug this...or what." I asked myself. I decided to use the hole to my advantage, crawling underneath it. Beyond the fence was a whole different world. There was no soft green grass beneath my feet. It was hard, grey, and hurt to walk on. Then, I heard what sounded like thunder. It was louder and louder and louder until I could barely hear myself think. A smell polluted the air, a tenh like no other. Something glossy and red stormed passed me. I jumped back, looking for a place to hide form this creature, this beast, but there was nothing except a few small grey stones beyond the fence. The creature skidded to a halt. My eyes widened at what got out from what looked like its mouth. A human. As soon as the humans eyes met mine, I felt amazing. Like my heart was in fire but there ws no pain. Like I was flying. Like nothing I'd ever felt before. Suddenly I felt like I knew the human all my life. Now, I wasn't a wild P.O.D. I was owned! I had someone to care for me! But in my mind a heard a voice. It was my mother. I'd disobeyed her rule of not going beyond hip the fence. I felt sorrow and guilt. I'd never see her again. Why couldn't I? Why couldn't I run back and say good bye? I yowled the questions to my mother. But all I heard back from her in my mind was a sad voice, saying these words: "What do you tell a P.O.D whose seen too much?"Congrats Specklez!
I really enjoyed reading our story, and congrats on this P.O.D.!
