Name You'd Choose for It: Kiljaeden
Species/Breed: Alien
Gender: Male
Reason You Want It: I would love to become the new owner of Tekno because I really love his design, and I think he deserves a lot of love. I find his physical appearance to be very eye-catching, and I think he has the potential to have an amazing personality!
History/Background/Other:Personality:Like others of his species, Kiljaeden is strict, cold, and no-nonsense. Despite his estrangement from his people, Kiljaeden holds his people's morals and values close to his heart. He has unwavering loyalty to the Mammal whom he's attached himself to, and he remains firm to the belief that he will never find true happiness.
Along with the collective personality that is shared by all of his people, Kiljaeden also has a few unique aspects about him that make him his own Cyoke. Cynical to human behavior, sarcastic to most Eukaryote (he will have an argument with a sea sponge... just saying), and is generally arrogant around most earth lifeforms.
History:Born on the planet of Sycros, somewhere in the Coral Galaxy, Kiljaeden was ejected to earth by his planetary leaders when Sycros was compromised by their sworn enemies, the Wake Angels. Kiljaeden landed on earth when he was still just a fledgling and immediately, innately sought to tie himself to someone, or something. After a month of searching the continent of Antarctica, Kiljaeden ended up tying himself to an Emperor Penguin until he was of age to realize what had happened. During his time with the Emperor Penguins, Kiljaeden inadvertently ended up raising the survival rate by 23%. Kiljaeden's protective nature made him a superior guard for the Penguins.
Kiljaeden was later captured by humans and taken to a British Zoo, where they proceeded with a series of experiments in an attempt to figure out what exactly Kiljaeden was. In a mad frenzy to be returned to his Tie family, Kiljaeden escaped the zoo and found his way on a ship to America. Kiljaeden ended up in New York, where he was forced to hide in the sewer system. Kiljaeden now resides there, with a group of friends that he has made during his time in America. He is still confused about this planet, and he's still learning much. He's also trying to find a way to contact the rest of his race.
Story:Kiljaeden curled up tightly against the sewer walls, his nostrils closed so as to avoid breathing in the disgusting fumes of the sewers. Kiljaeden growled to himself and curled up tighter as a blast of cold air hit him on his side. This was pathetic! Degrading! He was a Cyoke! He did not deserve this injustice! However, be that as it may, until Kiljaeden was able to find a way out of the city, he was forced to remain here.
The loud roar of the L train made Kiljaeden curl even tighter around himself, the loud noise shaking his tendrils in a most uncomfortable way. He hated that he could see the train flying around above him, even though he didn't want to. Sometimes, his tendrils were more a curse than a blessing.
The gentle sound of footsteps etched and Kiljaeden raised his head, his glowing green eyes tracking the sound as his tendrils shook with the vibration. Eukaryote. Animalia. Chordata. Synapsida. Mammalia. Primate. Hominidae. Hominini. Homo. Homo Sapien. Human being. Female. Diana......
The little dark hair girl looked into the darkness fearfully, her single eye looking through the tangles of black curls carefully.
"Kiljaeden?" She called out softly before taking a single step around the corner and closer to the Cyoke. Venting warm air from his nostrils in a snort, Kiljaeden stood grandly and began to walk towards her. Diana whimpered and clutched her little stuffed bear tighter to her. She still couldn't see him.
"Kiljaeden?" She called out again. Finally, once he was six feet away from her, Kiljaeden relaxed his muscles and his markings began to glow. Diana leapt back fearfully at the sudden brightness, but relaxed once she saw who it was. Slowly, Diana shuffled forward and touched Kiljaeden's head gently in greeting. Kiljaeden thrummed a greeting in response before returning to his 'bed' against the wall. Diana followed him hesitantly. Kiljaeden could smell the question on her. Could she sleep with him tonight. Kiljaeden snorted quietly. Typical child. Fearful of one noise from the L train and she now wants to sleep with her 'guardian'. However, unable to refuse his Tie Bondmate, Kiljaeden uncurled himself just enough so that Diana would be able to snuggle into his chest.
Diana sat down against Kiljaeden and sighed in relief, her head resting on the feathery scales gently. The sound of a body rustling made Diana leap up in fear, but the comforting weight of Kiljaeden's tail against her side made Diana relax. Everything was going to be ok. Kiljaeden was here. He would protect her.
Kiljaeden, once he sensed that Diana was asleep, finally raised his head and looked up to the small opening in the sewers, to the sky. It was full moon that night, and Kiljaeden soaked in the moon's rays greedily. However, his thoughts were to mournful to be thinking about the comfort of the moon. Where was his family? Where was his friends? Where they on the moon? Or where they farther out in space? His family..... gone.
Diana rolled over in her sleep and her hand, while seeking out her stuffed bear, ended up finding one of Kiljaeden's tendrils. The Cyoke inhaled sharply. He hated it when humans touched his tendrils! They were defiling him! They were-
"I love you, Kiljaeden," Diana whispered in her sleep. Kiljaeden relaxed. Maybe the touch wasn't
so bad.....
Kiljaeden glanced down at Diana and nuzzled her gently. Maybe his family was right here.
